  • Meech is doing a review of the Nutribullet Rx souperblast function. The soup blast cup mixes up and liquefies the ingredients while heating it up. At the end of the seven minute cycle you will have fresh hot soup ready to go.

    Nice video. I've had a vitamix for 15+ yrs and make soups w protein basically the same.
    When in a rush:
    1. I add hot filtered water first to speed process up.
    2. Quality cheese, a couple of cubes cut in with defrosted frozen veggie blend. Add nuts, protein or if feeling hard core tuna lol.
    I put in thermos for work and used to keep full to lose a few lbs. just my 2 cents.

    Incredibly useful review - using the soup maker to NOT make soup after filling the soup cup above the max. water line.

    Funny, I was in Target two days ago and saw the RX. Almost bought it, but I searched reviews right there on the spot. There were more unhappy customers than happy. The 900 is all I need. I really like the size of the 900 and regular NB. I have had the 900 since the first week it hit the market. It is easy to handle. Speaking of size, your arms are beasts. I keep trying to decide if I like them. I know, what woman likes flab? It's just that those arms make it hard for me to listen to you or look at anything else. Besides that, I keep wondering about the rest of you...

    I have used both the Nutribullet and Ninja. The nutribullet seems to make smoother smoothies that taste smooth but rhe Ninja is more like drinking sand...it blends but not as smooth as the Bullett. The ninja has sharper blades good for cutting but not so good for smashing fruit into a smooth drink. If you want something mostly to make smoothies then get a bullet...even the 600 power will be good for drinks. My sister has owned one for a year and never had problems with the bullet. It makes a good smoothie in 10 seconds but would take longer on a Ninja. You dont need an auto IQ because 10 seconds is nothing and youll want to drink it soon after its made any way.

    HI, there and thank you for your video clips on the Nutribullet RX. Question for you. I just got my Nutribullet RX yesterday and i notice that the unit itself where the gear is exposed. I was cleaning it and noticed that it wobble a little bit when i pinched it. Was this normal for your unit to do that? I was wondering maybe mine is defected?

    so confused everytime i decide which one to buy there is a new one out. I decied on the pro after watching your video. Then I heard some bad reviews which have scared me regarding the nutribullet pro " blades chipping and is unsafe for use do not use" ?? :( how long have you had your 900 ? how often have you used it? and any signs of the blade becoming damaged? This one (RX) looks looks fancy!! and great idea for fast soup making but it like it is pulverising the hell out of the water so I cant imagine it will be good for the nutrients in the ingredients.As it is still blending them as it heats, where as with the other one you can blend till ready then gently simmer or heat up without over heating and over pulverising the nutrients out of the produce. What do you think? Also you have the Ninja a video I watched seemed like you were leaning more towards the Ninja in preference? feedback much appreciated :) x Great video's!

    Do you guys know if it's possible to remove the clear cap and drizzle oil into the container to emulsify a salad dressing? I got the RX but haven't used the soupblaster, and am wondering if I could put vinegar and spices in it, drizzle olive oil in slowly to thicken the vinaigrette. Or if I'd just end up getting splattered with a hot mess and have to spend the day at the ER? :>O

    How does it cook it? Steam, oven like heating, from the motion of the blades..? What I dont get is how when you call they say you only blend up to 20 seconds with the Nutribullet 900, as the more you blend it the more oxidized it gets. Like 60 seconds would be 60% oxidation, which destroys the nutrients.. it going for 7 minutes means no nutrients will be left from the vortex that pulls in oxygen..

    • @ONTHERADAR1
      @ONTHERADAR1  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dominick7 Not sure how it heats up, some type of friction technology. I have to look into oxidation more. I don't remember much about it to be honest.

    • @Dominick7
      @Dominick7 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      RackboyzFitness
      K fair enough. Rawfoodexplained.com/science specifically w the search for oxydation here www.rawfoodexplained.com/?s=oxidation explains it. Basically it loses its nutrients when exposed to oxygen, changing a plant from its natural whole form is what starts the breakdown process.

    • @charlesratzke1901
      @charlesratzke1901 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dominick7 It seems it would be better just to process/puree the ingredients for a great soup and then gently heat through normal process on the stove, if you are concerned about losing the nutritional value by over-blending/heating. I think this is helpful information. The soup maker is a convenience, but not a necessity. You can still prepare a large volume of cold soup using the large vessels offered by the NBRX or you can use the small cups to make just a few servings.

    • @Dominick7
      @Dominick7 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      RackboyzFitness
      Found out by calling them, the heating is from the high speed of the motor running.

    • @Dominick7
      @Dominick7 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Charles Ratzke Yea true, though its more of a hassle. The other thing that is annoying with the Nutribullet is the max line is WAY less than the total size capacity of the cup.. it's like at the 3/4ths mark, closer to the middle even. Seems like a ridiculous waste of capacity.
      After having done more research I think I'm going to go with a CleanBlend blender. It's no where near as much money as the Vitamix at $189, doesn't have the black particle issue the other high speed blenders have, is a mock off of the Vitamix and I THINK it can even use the older 2200 metal pitcher so I won't have to deal with the carcinogenic BPA free plastic you see in all of the high speed blenders from the Nutribullet to Vitamix to Blentec. Much easier to just slowly turn up the speed to heat it up than have to get out another pot or pan to cook it in. Appreciate the input thank you.
