My soft fruits work well in my juicer and I have a pretty cheap basic one. I’m glad I have both. I don’t always want smoothies and unfortunately I don’t always want to eat veggies (at least in the amounts that I should be) so it’s helpful.
I have had done both since the 1960s. Remember when Vitamix was advertised in the back of Prevention magazine? This was back when prevention was an excellent health magazine. Their selling point was making blended veggie soups that the temperature stayed within the guidelines of eating raw. I still make my green energy soups. The machine had a stainless container and was tall. And of course all the local health stores had books on juicing, eating raw, benefits of produce. So glad this information has been available. I love doing both depending on my body‘s needs at the moment. Organic Garden magazine was helpful in growing veggies. In the 1980s. Guess what it was cabbage, carrots and apples. Almost instantly if healed my ulcers in my colon. Juicing is definitely my medicine. Also great for the skin.

I cleaned it and now it's ready to go - thanks to this guy I now know what type of food to put in it. I can't wait to go shopping and incorporate some new fruit and vegetables into my diet. I'm grateful about what he said about not gulping it all down in one go - I may have done that! Thanks man!!!

Thank you for this vid.
Damn ! You do an outstanding job explaining the advantages of juicing and blending. I thoroughly enjoyed your block of instruction, I have both the Nutribullet and a juicer. I lean more toward the blender because of no waste. Thank you Thank you Thank you
I have a fast juicer at the moment, and when I'm juicing leaves/herbs (usually baby spinach, rocket, and parsley) I tamp them all firmly down together into the bottom of the chute before I turn the motor on. I find I get the best yield that way, as loose bits don't get flung straight into the basket without getting juiced. I also always save a big chunk of cucumber to go in last, as it helps to flush any residual goodness from the machinery, and removes any stickiness from carrots/apples etc., making it easier to clean after use. Celery works for the same purpose. Just a couple of tips. :)
I'm going to start juicing because I have to pay attention to my health I'm not a young man anymore. And I love the way you explain the way to juice and blend your fruits nuts and vegetables 😋. I will try .
A family member was diagnosed with prostate cancer which is at the metastatic stage now. He began juicing and I have to say his PSA levels began dropping which was amazing. However, the cleaning of a juicer is a nightmare. Disassembling all the parts, drying them and then reassembling, became a daunting process and was causing a lot of stress. It was also very time consuming, not to mention it required a ton of produce just to get a couple of glasses of juice. It actually got quite expensive in that respect. I have come to this video to see if a blender will do the same thing. It does not sound like it. Someone suggested using the blender and then putting all the pulpy thick mixture through a sieve or cloth and squeezing as much juice out of it as possible. So, we are going to try that with him. I appreciated this video because it did tell you why these two machines are different and what to expect from each one of them. Thank you so much for this it has helped us make a decision, we are going to go with a good quality blender and a squeeze cloth. Just not sure which kind of blender to buy that won't cost a fortune. Thank you again it was all so well explained as well.
i have a juicer and the cleaning is not that bad like you said depening on the juicer you have if you juice in batches like i do than cleaning once a week not bad

9:57 "These tools are not just kitchen appliances, they are the best healthcare system anyone can ever own." YES. I've learned from experience this is 100% true. 💗 Been juicing and blending almost daily since 2007, and I still learnt something from this excellent explanation. I didn't know you could juice the skin of pineapple! 😀 Well that is a gamechanger, as normally slice my fingers to smitterins attempting to peel it.
Just come across you Jason, for some weird reason. Possibly the best lesson I've come across in juicing/blending! One thought which did cross my mind, though is, why would I want to put a fresh juice, extracted using my slow juicer, in a high speed centrifugal environment, simply to mix it with blended ingredients? And especially if I'm going to add some chilled water afterwards, when I could add that instead of the juice, then add the juice afterwards instead. One great thing about the Nutribullet is the pulsing facility, so that a load of liquid plus smoothie and/or powders can be mixed together without getting up speed. Great video! Thanks!
All I can say is 'eye opener'. Well, not all I can say. I can say 'Thank you!'. I am old, have a juicer and a blender and STILL I am learning. Again, thank you!

Today is day 1 of juicing for me and I am using a Black & Decker from Walmart. Would never recommend that one, but I put the pulp in a blender with some water and then pushed the watery paste through a strainer. Again, this is just day 1... If I am able to keep with the program I want to invest in a nice blender that helps me reduce my waste. After blending and sieving the paste, I maybe had 2 tbsp of waste, compared to the nearly 3 cups I could run back through the B&D as it wasn't able to extract it. Thank you for this information. This will definitely assist me in my juicing and blending journey
Thank you, that was insightful. I guess I never really thought about what goes in which appliance; to me, I thought common sense would tell most people.
Homemade orange juice is exceptionally healthy, always use a blender instead of a juicer as you want the whole peeled orange flesh as it is rich in vital nutrients in the juice. So simple, gather 8-10 small sweet oranges, cut in half, peel, and place in blender, initially add three cups water and blend for 2-4 mins and there you go, fresh instant orange juice. you should get 1 litre to 1.6 litres but topping up with a little more water helps.
I currently use my Vitamix as a "juicer" for celery, I just strain it in a nut milk bag after I blend it for a couple of minutes. Works for now anyway. Then I also use it to make smoothies.
This is by far the best video on this subject that I’ve found on TH-cam! You have in under 15mins explained what I was reading and researching for 2 days!!!!!!!! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ 🗣 Thank you!!
Great video thank you for explaining the difference with juicing and blending sometimes i don’t know what machine to use but after 15 years its clear to me now what fruits and vegetables to blend and what to juice and what to actually enjoy to eat. i usually juice on a day off for 4 days keep it in sealed glass bottles refrigerated saves so much time and keeps you doing it all the time, instead of stopping, because to juice you definitely have to be motivated have a system that works for you if not its too much work, but thank you great video.
I started juicing (pineapple & cucumber) in am & pm an I have lost about 20lbs an tonight started pears an green apples. I havnt been sick 1x an feel better all the way around
I just found Jason Vale TODAY and have never juiced before. But I do own a NutriBullet. This video is hands down the best explanation of the differences between juicers and blenders. Now I get it. Next step - purchase one of Jason's plans and get busy getting healthier.
Yes, I have a juicer and a blender and the blender I make smoothies and of course the juicer I make juice but I love making ice cream with the blender you gotta use frozen fruit and you automatically got ice cream is awesome🥰❤️
Yup. I've done that. $20 blender, $1 Dollar Tree sieve. You have to move the pulp around and do it in batches, but it's doable. Cheesecloth would be a lot easier--load it up, wring it out.
My have a juicer but my nutritionist just recently told me she would prefer is I just eat the vegetables. She mentioned most of the nutrition and fiber is on the skin. When you juice you loose out on most of those nutrients and fiber according to her.
I have cancer eating up my body. I am not going to do the doctors burn and poison. Could you tell me the best juices for a better immune system? Right now I juice 2 lbs carrots, an apple and celery. I also add turmeric, pepper and ginger.

On your seven-day reset. We already had a Vitamix blender and by lucky chance bought the same juicer you use without actually knowing you recommended it. We are on the sixth-day now and rely on the banana and nut butters in the blends to take away the feelings of hunger. The juices are great - especially the ones with ginger in 👍
I’m a blend only person because I think the pulp is the best part. I have a specific eating plan for maximum nutrition and it’s working great. That Nutribullet is the best, I can’t live without it. I live alone, very small kitchen, so there you go. My new toy is the Ninja Foodi combo so off on a new adventure ….
Great explanation. Bought my juicer last weekend and used it for the first time today. First effort has gone down the sink because I didn’t like the taste (added turmeric and ginger 🤮) but my 2nd effort was quite enjoyable. I wish I had watched this first though, as in the second drink I put in strawberries, blueberries, oranges and nectarines. It tasted devine. Only now you tell me not to juice berries. Duly noted. Thanks for all the info
Absolutely the best tutorial. Straightforward and clear. I went and hauled out my Phillip HR 7789 and stood eyeing the juicer apparatus. You inspired me to stick with it and I got it to work. It's bird feeding. The blender and juicer basically chew the food for you before you eat it. It's digested more efficiently that way. It's like when birds ....regurgitate partially digested food into the mouths of baby birds.

I'm not up to speed on all the juicers available state side, I'm afraid! Amy@JuicyHQ. X
I love my nutribullet, I have one every morning, and feel so much better from r having them. I do equal amounts of fruit and veg. Love them 🥰
Thank you, that was insightful. I guess I never really thought about what goes in which appliance; to me, I thought common sense would tell most people.
Homemade orange juice is exceptionally healthy, always use a blender instead of a juicer as you want the whole peeled orange flesh as it is rich in vital nutrients in the juice. So simple, gather 8-10 small sweet oranges, cut in half, peel, and place in blender, initially add three cups water and blend for 2-4 mins and there you go, fresh instant orange juice. you should get 1 litre to 1.6 litres but topping up with a little more water helps.
that's called PASSION love it
I mean who puts ice in a juicer? Why? To extract water? 🤦🏿♀️
🤣this cracked me up
😂
😀😀😀
Ha ha ha... To make sure the juice is cold 😄
Lol 🤣🤣
You can hear the passion in this mans voice. Thank you
I currently use my Vitamix as a "juicer" for celery, I just strain it in a nut milk bag after I blend it for a couple of minutes. Works for now anyway. Then I also use it to make smoothies.
I did that. Once. Then I brought a juicer quick smart.
@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat finally got mine too! 😅
Love your classic retro kitchen!!!
Yay! Thank you!
Excellent information thank you very much. Now I know what to blend and what to juice. I thought there is something wrong with my nutribullet.
This is by far the best video on this subject that I’ve found on TH-cam! You have in under 15mins explained what I was reading and researching for 2 days!!!!!!!! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ 🗣 Thank you!!
Great to hear!
Chris Wark: "Smoothies are food, juice is medicine."
No smoothie has ever given me the results as good as juice does. I drink both daily.
smothie its juice to 😂😂😂
I like that.
@@denadena7903 A smoothie is a smoothie and juice is juice. They are different and so have different names.
you need fiber
@@jmonie02 No you don’t lmao.
Excellent blending vs juices quick course! Fantastic info! Thanks
My pleasure!
Glad you got a lot from it, keep up the good work. Amy@JuicyHQ. X
You convinced me to buy a juicer since I already own a blender - thank you ❤
I'm so glad!
I just wanted to say I enjoyed your video I am a power juicer as well been juicing since 2003
I started juicing (pineapple & cucumber) in am & pm an I have lost about 20lbs an tonight started pears an green apples. I havnt been sick 1x an feel better all the way around
Switched to a blender vegetable diet it's actually super pleasant and easy.
I just found Jason Vale TODAY and have never juiced before. But I do own a NutriBullet. This video is hands down the best explanation of the differences between juicers and blenders. Now I get it. Next step - purchase one of Jason's plans and get busy getting healthier.
Great you have found us! Happy to help, good luck with your journey . Amy@JuicyHQ. X
I just bought a blender so this was very helpful 👍🏻👍🏻
Finally the information I've been looking for, for days!!!
Jason Vale is a legend.
Great presentation, you just gained a new subscriber. Thank you.
Thank you and welcome 🙂 Amy@JuicyHQ
I’m so glad you mentioned not drinking the blend too fast!! I am guilty here!
what happens if you do?
MrFuchew you get a belly ache!! also a quicker spike in blood sugar, I reckon
@@unityyogamindbodyspirit7954 I kinda need to poo in the bathroom after drinking smoothies lol
@@romella_karmey so you poo somewhere else when you don't drink smoothies? O_o
can ya put the fiber left over from the juicer to the nutribullet to not waste the fibre
I appreciate your excellent prepared demonstration and talk on blender vs. juicers. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you 💕💕💕💕
Yes, I have a juicer and a blender and the blender I make smoothies and of course the juicer I make juice but I love making ice cream with the blender you gotta use frozen fruit and you automatically got ice cream is awesome🥰❤️
Frozen bananas are the best 😋 Amy@JuicyHQ
Blend it and then strain it... that’s something I would consider since I don’t have a juicer
I don’t have a juicer yet so I put my fruits and veggies through a food processor and strain with cheesecloth. Lots of work but it seems effective.
Yup. I've done that. $20 blender, $1 Dollar Tree sieve. You have to move the pulp around and do it in batches, but it's doable. Cheesecloth would be a lot easier--load it up, wring it out.
@@nodoboho takes a bit longer but where there’s a will, there’s a way! Lol
My have a juicer but my nutritionist just recently told me she would prefer is I just eat the vegetables. She mentioned most of the nutrition and fiber is on the skin. When you juice you loose out on most of those nutrients and fiber according to her.
@@Maririchforever he actually addresses that in his other content. Slow masticating juicers preserve the soluble fiber, from what I understand.
I have cancer eating up my body. I am not going to do the doctors burn and poison. Could you tell me the best juices for a better immune system? Right now I juice 2 lbs carrots, an apple and celery. I also add turmeric, pepper and ginger.
Sorry to hear this, please have a chat with a juice therapist in your area www.juicemasteracademy.com/find-a-therpaist they can be more specific when dealing with different ailments and related recipes. Amy@JuicyHQ. XX
Well explained, very informative. Thank you
Glad you liked it
I love your layout of fruits , machines and design of the kitchen. And the coaching is great.
Thanks so much!
genuinely the best health care system anyone can own!!! Absolutely awesome!
Sir, juicing is not a healthcare system
On your seven-day reset. We already had a Vitamix blender and by lucky chance bought the same juicer you use without actually knowing you recommended it.
We are on the sixth-day now and rely on the banana and nut butters in the blends to take away the feelings of hunger.
The juices are great - especially the ones with ginger in 👍
So pleased you're enjoying the plan, please let us know how you get on. testimonials@juicemaster.com
You are 100% right ✅️ a juicer is a kind of waste if I have to throw away the pulp.
Glad it helped
Man said "I dunno why you don't but you don't do you so we need to find another way in" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 love him
So knowledgeable thank you!!
my boyfriend and I are starting a new year off right with juice cleansing
Absolutely the best tutorial. Straightforward and clear. I went
and hauled out my Phillip HR 7789 and stood eyeing the juicer apparatus. You inspired me to stick with it and I got it to work. Fabulous!! I'm so damn pleased. Your point about not drinking the food too fast. . thank you!!! Jason, a question, once I have done my blending . ... and there is an interruption and delay before consuming the juice, what is the longest one can wait before drinking? Thank you so much. Greetings from Johannesburg. 🍅🍓🍉🍇🍏🍐
Hi Caroline, you can make up to a days worth and keep as long as they are refrigerated, You can Freeze a batch if you wanted to keep for longer. remembering to take them out the night before you need them. Amy@JuicyHQ. X
Just checked out the site and subscribed, I'm trying to live a healthier lifestyle and this will help a lot, thanks!
Welcome aboard!
Very clear and informative video. Thanks a lot!
Can I blend first and then juice it
I am planning to buy a Nutribullet and a Kenwood slow juicer. Time to feed the cells with good stuff!
Thanks for this. As a diabetic, I'll stay with my blenders.
Thank you! Really makes it clear. Both are great we don't need to choose.
Found a Mackey! Our name is rare!
@@johnmackey5150 Hi John Mackey! I have the the book “The Whole Foods Diet” by John Mackey. You should get it :) Thanks for saying hello!

Glad it was helpful!
I have the nutribullet, but was looking to get a good juicer instead. After watching this video. It's very clear.
A Juicer + A Blender and combining the juice into the blender is having the best of both worlds.
Great to hear!
Very good video im excited about healthy living.
It's bird feeding. The blender and juicer basically chew the food for you before you eat it. It's digested more efficiently that way. It's like when birds ....regurgitate partially digested food into the mouths of baby birds.
Just be sure to chew the drink though - juicing all of it all the time doesn't release the digestive enzymes necessary.
Thank you for sharing! I am definitely going to try various recipes, both juices and smoothies.
Hope you enjoy!
There is a huge difference. I have both I appreciate their significance for both. Thankful for both🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I want to buy a blender and also want juices. This was VERY informative. Thanks a lot.
Stay blessed mate
Hi Jason! I love juicing but im excited with your super blend me book
The number juice and smoothie expert. Love Jason vale bought his books and used his websites and products for years now. But your still using centrifugal juicers... I’m into slow juicers... no oxidation
This video gave me the information I needed. Been doing research and watching different videos. I have a nutribullet but I want to do a 30 day juice fast and I believe the extraction of the juice from the juicer would be more beneficial with trying to lose weight and control my blood pressure. Thank for this must appreciated
Where was the information for blood pressure?
Please, don't juice if you have high blood pressure!
@@Ididnthaveaname why not??
