    Wait a second! I own a Nutribullet and it's clearly written in the instructions to put greans, soft foods first, followed by harder fruits/vegetables, and lastly anything frozen... also, the cups have maximum fill lines... 😕... so there's room for the blades, you're not supposed to stuff them right to the top.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      See Billy Run do you mean ninja? There's a quick start guide with the Nutribullet that shows proper stacking as described. Yes there's a max fill line but I usually use that for liquid 😂 Most people don't make as much as I do but I'm also trying to put these blenders through non-typical testing...

    • @stacieshannon9555
      @stacieshannon9555 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The max fill line on the Nutribullet is for liquid. You can go past it with the solids.

    Nutri-bullet all the way. Simplicity meets performance. I love my bullet. It is three years old. I consistantly run it for 3-3.5 minutes with no problems. Further, I always disregard the max fill line - again, no problems.

    so is it just me or should the nutri bullet been used on the ultra blend setting instead of high? I'm undecided on which one to buy but it seems like the wrong setting were used in the video.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      RealYT/Fake G+ Hey there! The ultra blend setting on the nutria ninja goes as fast as the high setting, except it's on a shorter timer. Since we were making a whole food juice we ran the blenders for 90 seconds and only the high setting could run longer 😊 What are you trying to make most? Did you see our full review with all the comparison tests? Link is in the description 😘

    I'm not sure if you can talk about this but I've heard of Magic Bullet blenders having long term problems such as damaged blades and the motor running itself to death (literally). Any experience with that?

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan V The magic bullet was the very first model and so I think it is the one with the least power and probably had the most issues before they started coming out with newer models with improvements. I haven't actually used the "magic bullet" myself so I can't speak to it, but I think it's safe to say that Nutribullet blenders have a shorter life expectancy than high end power blenders. They do offer extended warranties very inexpensively on their models when purchased from their website, which I highly recommend to protect your purchase 😊 This Nutribullet RX model for example has an extended four year warranty option for only $20. We have a coupon code for big savings on the review for this. Hope that helps! 😘 ~Tarashaun

    Great review, both here and on your website. I especially love how you break it down on the website. I've wanted a powerful blender like the Vitamix or Blendtec for awhile now, but they're just not in my budget. So I'm glad that I came across your review and giveaway of course! At least these blenders are more affordable and your reviews helped me determine which blender best suits my needs. Currently, I'm leaning towards the NutriBullet. Since I'd mainly used the blender for smoothies, dressings, sauces and ice cream, NutriBullet fits the bill. I also love that the NutriBullet makes hot soup-- one of favorite meals in the winter. Thanks, +BlenderBabes!!

      +Avon Shay So awesome we could help, Avon! As for the Vitamix/Blendtec blenders- you can always hop on a payment plan and buy the refurbished model. Scuba Adentures I haven't gotten to play with the select yet. It's only slightly more powerful than the PRO at 950 watts but I definitely like the idea of 5 variable speeds! However the RX is twice as powerful and performs more on par with the top high end blenders, especially when it comes to silky green smoothies 😉 I think you will love it!🙌 Let me know how it goes 😘 ~Tarashaun

    per the ninja instructions, you are supposed to first do fresh fruits and veggies, then leafy green/herbs, then liquid/yogurt, then dry/stick ingredients, then ice/frozen ingredients....

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ashley Lamborn if you're using blend and go style cups it's the opposite since you are turning the jar upside down 😊 you are correct if using the total crushing jar. I made the green juice in the total crushing jar as well with poor results. I found the blend and go style cups blend ingredients like leafy greens much better.

    I am looking for a blender that will do smoothies, banana ice cream, mint chutney (small amount), cashew cream (small amount - 1/2 cup to thicken a curry. Would you recommend a Vitamix 7500 as your first choice? Loved your video, but want a good strong blender.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! A Vitamix 7500 or Blendtec would be great but to make the small amounts you would need an additional jar for both. For the Vitamix I would recommend the small 32 oz jar and for Blendtec I would recommend the Twister Jar. The larger containers that come standard with both have a wide base and therefore cannot make small amounts... Hope that helps! We have great deals on Blendtec and Vitamix. In fact there's a sale on Vitamix right now - you can check it out here. www.blenderbabes.com/vitamixsale and the link includes free shipping :)

    To get a more Smoothly Text with the Nutra Ninja you have to use the IQ Button

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Sis and Lendsi! We've used the IQ button of course - we do extensive testing. The IQ button fluctuates speeds and doesn't run long enough for this test, and we were testing for a specific time period to be equal to the NutriBullet Rx. Hope that helps clarify! :)

    • @luvbud13
      @luvbud13 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like I said before their demonstration is not fair. Doing a time test to compare to the other unit doesn't mean anything. They are different machines and you would need to do this as Sis said to have a fair comparison. Ninja is made to do this on a different setting which you didn't use because you want to sell the other unit

  • @robertc3092
    @robertc3092 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Why didn't you use ultra blend on the Ninja. You would have gotten better results.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Robert C actually in my testing I did use the ultra blend setting and it wasn't better. 🙃 Seems odd but it's true. It also has a shorter time so we chose this setting for this particular test since its continuous high paper the whole time and not oscillating. Hope that helps clarify. Happy shopping!

    • @senoritasombrero
      @senoritasombrero 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I still believe you would have had better results using the Auto IQ ultra blend, i've put harder things in there before and i was blown away by the performance. Also you weren't supposed to fill the cup above the maximum level and it looks like you did since you could barely fit the pro extractor blade in the cup.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Alexandra! I tested the ultra blend setting and because it oscillates and doesn't blend as long it didn't blend as well as on the high setting for an entire 90 seconds. Yes they were both filled to the brim!

    If you stacked veggies propotionally to the size of a container (that would mean less in ninja or much more in bullet), I think it would than give you same result.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Zorica Milićević do you mean the same as each other? Or the same result as we achieved? We did try this test blending longer with the same results, so I think it is the blade assembly just not able to completely pulverize the veggies...

    I bought one yesterday to make Sem Cell regenerative smoothies. Lets face it guys, this unit can produce soup. It is the most untouchable piece of equipment when speaking about natural medicine.

      +Nick Dutch. Mind, Body, Spirit, Psychic and Tarot I've heard of several Vitamix knock offs made in China that do a pretty decent job as an all in one blender. I'll have to look further into the SKT blender, thank you for sharing! :) HAPPY BLENDING!

    The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

      Bull Art Works, I can understand. This review wasn't to persuade you one way or another. Everyone has their own preference. The goal of these blend-offs are to show how the blenders perform and to give the buyer an idea on how they would blend if they were to purchase one. Are you looking to buy a Ninja? Looks like a few are on sale: www.blenderbabes.com/NutriNinja

      +Daffy Deb The extractor blades are not that bad. The total crushing blade on the Ninja pitcher is REALLY sharp though, I've cut myself on them not one, not two, but THREE times!! That jar is a good food processor though, great for chopping!

    Ninja will always be a better quality brand. Remember, the Nutribullet is from the same makers of the Magic Bullet which got bad reviews + made from cheap plastic. I personally tried both of these machines and I got much better results with the Ninja. GET THE NINJA!

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Greek Pianist Have you actually tried the Nutribullet Rx? Both Nutribullet and Ninja have many, many different models. I've found certain models are better than others so you have to be much more specific when you say you've tested each brand and one is better.

    • @TheGreekPianist
      @TheGreekPianist 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      ***** Yeah I did; I got the Ninja and my cousin got the Nutri Ninja Rx. I tried theirs and mine and i personally liked the Ninja better. But that was my preference :)

    Have you had any problems with your Nutribullet RX? I know Nutribullet has a history of NutriBullets exploding and severely injuring people

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Positive Vibes Hi there! No I’ve never had a problem with the NutriBullet RX nor have any of my community members as far as I know. I did hear about a few cases of the early Nutribullet models having some of those exploding issues but I’m not sure what the outcome of the lawsuit has been yet (user error? Faulty blenders? Etc). I think you’ll love the RX!
