Generation of Wind Load in STAAD - Part 2: Cladded Warehouse Structure || Wall & Roof Load || IS875

In this video, I have discussed, how to generate wind load on a pitched roof warehouse type of structure, including load generation on walls, inclined roof and local pressure on wall, roof edge. I have used different manual approach including nodal, member, floor load and used a custom user tools which can generate all required wind load components.
For complete analysis and design of any residential, commercial or industrial structure, application of wind load is necessary. When wind load is applied on any face of a structure, it is distributed to other structural components. For wind analysis, correct wind load distribution is necessary.

Using Wind load generator, we can define pressure coefficient for walls only, which is editable (available in the second page). This is considered for all 4 sides of the building, you can provide any custom value as well. For other localized pressure coefficient or roof coefficient, wind load generator cannot be used, we need to define it manually.

No additional license is required, you just need to use any latest version of STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition, after V22 update 8.
