Design Warning: Moment Amplification Factor is greater than 1.4- Reason & Solution|| P-delta|| IS800

If you perform a steel structure design using IS800:2007 code, you might find a warning related to the moment amplification factor in the output file. What does this mean, how to remove this warning from the output, what other limitations are there - I have discussed all these points in this video.

In short, a linear static analysis where second order deformations are not considered during analysis is termed as a first order analysis and when it is considered like p-delta or non-linear analysis, that it is an advanced analysis.
