Wait a minute, they got a divorce and she never did a spiritual wedding to Kody, so yes, Meri was single.
Logan Expressed he didn't want any children as an adult after he was married because of raising his siblings. He also expressed that he still partially fills that role for them.
Logan is the fall back Dad to his siblings. He must be a strong man & strong brother to all his siblings.

It still amazes me how Kotex says How CryBrow sacrificed so much to join the family when literally the only thing she sacrificed was $30000 of Debt !!! She literally gave NOTHING but received everything from the beginning. She NEVER lived polygamy- she lived separate from jump!! She never wanted the sisterwives for anything other than their paychecks. She segregated her children from the others, and she rejected everything the og 3 offered to help meld the families!!! If she wanted to be apart of the family she would have lived with them when they offered it. She would have let Christine take care of her kids. She was out to seduce and manipulate Kotex into wanting only her and she did it!! She heard tv show and in her mind that meant money and financial security. She and Kotex have been financially abusing the OG3 SINCE CRYBROW CAME AROUND
And she had Kody agree that she and her kids would be taken care of right into the courting part of it. He made convenience right from the beginning
And now she's totally miserable, stuck with manbaby Kody, and lost the OG3's incomes. How sweet it is! 😂
Spot on, Cheron! She only wanted the "family" for the income. She didn't want to actually SPEND TIME with the family!
I watched Paedon't interview with John Yates (I think it was 1,5 years ago...).
Paedon stated that Robbing had to sacrifice a job she hated and living in a trailer. Oh, and she had to sacrifice those 30K debt as well. A lot of sacrifice! 😆😆
To me, it's clear that the move to Las Vegas was just as Robyn-controlled just as the move to Flagstaff.
Kody has been steered and manipulated by this pencil-sharpener ever since they got together.
I love your son! He puts up such a valiant effort to pretend that he's interested in any of this just to please his mama. You raised him right Jenny.

The simple fact Robyn rejected the idea of living with Kody and the wives when Janelle offered. Totally goes to show Robyn was interested in just Kody and whatever she could get off him. Like her own house and all the other crap she could get. She's the one that wanted the man and not the family. She never came in that family cap in hand like Kody says. Almost every complaint he’s had about Christine actually describes Robyn. I wonder how much fun it is now that Christine isn’t around to project on.
@@Sail392It's not FUN at the Kody Cult home. Money is running low & 3 paycheck are hopefully gone. Why aren't the 3 older kids working? With a job the 3 older kids could meet people maybe get their own apartment together etc & eventually get away from Mommy Dearest !
You're so right, Lynn! Right from the beginning she showed her hand that she wasn't interested in the family in terms of being "with" the family. She's just interested in the family because they provide additional income and playmates for her kids.
@@Sail392 yea I noticed that too he's talking about something Robin actively did and says Christine's name. I always wondered if he was that obsessed with bedroom behavior he overlooks any fault with Robyn. He obviously does nobody's perfect. And you see on TV it's Robyn doing it not christine

Mary is so naive. When Jenn said that Cody must have talked to Robin about the problems they were having or she wouldn't have made him agreed to that condition and Mary was so shocked. I don't think she's thought about any of the stuff that's gone on
Meri did seem clueless even as the viewers are seeing Meri be indecisive, hurt, told directly, by Kody as he & Meri are driving in his car, that kody does not see a future with Meri.
How can she still hold unto to or have hope he will change his mind about her? Robyn alludes to Meri that Kody is still interested in her. Kody ask Meri to build him a barndomium on Coyote Pass for storage of his car etc. & that Meri can live in the barndomium loft apartment. Kody fully expects Meri will spend her own money on a Kody storage barn? IMO Meri still loves Kody no matter what awful things he says or does to her. The heart wants what it wants.
I know! That shows how much the grooming from childhood is set, that she kept believing he didn’t lie to her. Amazing! That he didn’t stick to the rules. And that Robyn knew way more than she kept denying she knew.

it wasn't meri's idea to give up legal wife status, kody asked her to in order 2 adopted the children as they didn't have health care (what he said) and robyn's ex was unsafe and Robyns children didnt feel like they belonged. Meri albeit difficult at times was emmtionally blackmailed + banked on if she had a good relationship w/ robyns children maybe kody would see she changed. Kody's bio children (the OG) were not fond of meri and that caused problems with Kody as well
Which 100% proved Christine’s point about Meri willing to be close to Robyn, yet Kody still wanted nothing to do with her.

The first time I watched this i thought Robin was shy I'm looking at it now she had her agenda from day one on getting Kodi for herself and alienating the wives. Also I love your son!

Meri not only got a divorce but also became an empty nester without her husband's support, suffered infertility and made less than so the catfish seems inevitable.
I have 18 years between my oldest and youngest (6 kids in all, same dad, no other wives 😂). So I found humor in that bit.

You're so sweet. Thank you. He's the best for helping mom out. But the intelligence...straight from God. LOL. He's well beyond my intellectual capabilities. He graduated high school in 3 years then undergrad in 3 years. He's staying at the university for one more year to get a master's degree because he's only 20 and could use more time before going out into the world!

I wouldnt doubt it if there was no Christmas bc Kody couldnt afford it for all the kids/didnt want to be on the hook for presents for wives he didnt like so...."too commercialized" was the cover. I can almost hear his whole sales job on why hes a better man than most for *not* "conforming to society pressure." 😂
Kody is the person who redirects people (Christmas) from one thing to the other (Christmas is too commercial). It is a slight of hand carnival magician trick)
Don't have so many kids when, as a Dad, you forget their birthdays & want to junk Christmas because it cost some money. Even if the child gets only ONE GIFT that would bring joy to a child.
I can't with how much of a failure Kody is. Another solution to Noel gifting is to buy presents a little at a time thruout the year & have a stockpile to give to kids. Etc. Kody use your head once in a while. Pathetic.

I know this is going to sound like I like Robyn, which I don’t, but if she hadn’t brought in all of the drama the show might not have lasted as long as it has. Robyn is all about drama and being the victim. She loves to draw attention to herself and then act all innocent.

juliearnold: Exactly! When Robbing gets caught, she starts crying. Remember the couch interview about kissing Kody (before wedding)? It didn't matter she broke the rules, it didn't matter she heart the OG3. She cried and said "I didn't know it would break MY heart".
It's like "Daddy, look at me, I'm crying and feeling miserable. Don't punish me, I'm already in so much pain".

I learned why the Mormans left polygamy from your son. When I was born we lived in Rough and Ready, California which had once seceded from the Union. They eventually rejoined so they could get a post office. Turns out being part of the country has it's perks.

@@SeniorPerspective-123 I left a simplified version of the LDS church’s origins & practices & a comment under it of the 2 groups Smith implemented their teachings & congregations into his & how his death created splinters like the AUB group that the Browns practiced. I was LDS & then the internet made it easy to access info they’d hid from us.

Thanks, Heather. Well, the girls are 2 hours away and 8 hours away and both married now. So probably not gonna get them on as they are rarely home. Just holidays. (of course, I go to them as often as they will let me-lol).
Kody wanted to keep everyone in a chronic state of chaos so he could show how he "attempts to corral the insanity [that he caused] without receiving NO LOYALITY & RESPECT."
I had a dream last night I was with the 5 adults. I told them I could do this, your problem is you don’t have the friendships you should have. I looked at Kody and he had the thousand mile stare 😂😂 omg I need to quit getting so into it.❤

There is more to that catfish story. Meri had a road trip with Jackie. Jackie wanted Meri. Also Robyn’s friend knew Jackie and Meri said at times she felt she was being watched bc Jackie knew what she was doing and wearing. All really weird. Wouldn’t doubt Robyn and Kody helped this catfish along. Bc when it was aired about it, I felt Kody didn’t really freak out. I thought it strange. Then I realized he really didn’t care about Meri. He didn’t sound upset until Christine’s leaving, then he explained why he wanted Meri gone bc of catfishing. I call BS!

One Google answer said Robyn's divorce wasn't final til December 2009.
So she's dating before divorced. Yup, that sounds like Robyn.
I think Robyn's divorce not being final is why she couldn't choose a wedding date. December had nothing to do with prior commitments. But it was just a fake plyg spiritual wedding so being still married should matter.
Jenny, Your son is fantastic! He's handsome, intelligent, and articulate. Does he realize that his appearance on your channel is setting a dangerous precedent? Your viewers will expect his presence on a regular basis.
Anyone remember in season 18 when Meri was interviewed and said that Kody always wanted her to do certain things for him to love her, but it was never enough? I bet one of those things, that he told her he would love her if she did, was divorcing him so he could marry Robin! I think that was her last ditch effort to save her marriage. When he went back to the old Kody with her so quickly, that was why she was devastated, and so vulnerable to the catfisher.
Gabe got his GED as a junior. Colleges were making offers because of his grades but also because of his ranking in wrestling. So, he would have had his choice of colleges if he had finished highschool. He studied for his GED, got his diploma, then Covid got worse. So, he worked for a year, then went to the college in Flagstaff that the other kids were going to. This is important, because Garrison felt like he didn't measure up to his brothers. Logan had 2 majors and his own business. He was a personal trainer. Hunter was in the Naval Academy, getting his Master's in nursing, and Gabe being courted by colleges as a junior. He didn't feel very smart, he was a grunt in the Army. But, he was an accomplished photographer, especially outer space! No one thought much of it as others had scholarships. They thought his pictures were cool, but didn't see anything outstanding. That didn't help being estranged from his Dad, who had always had some answer... but, not anymore.

Maddie was 19 when she got married, right? And Ariella was 10 months old and walking when Maddie either was planning her wedding or just married. So Logan should have been around 21 when the last baby was born.
Oh wow~. I didn't realize both Maddie and Logan were out of the house when she was born. But they would have had to be....it was Logan's senior year when they moved in and Ariella wasn't conceived yet. I didn't think that through on the fly. You're right.

When Meri got caught up in the catfish, she had already been neglected by Kody for YEARS. He didn't stay at her house, he didn't have intimate relations with her, and he didn't want physical contact with her. That is abandonment. How can anyone blame her for having an online flirtation for attention, when her "spiritual husband" had abandoned her emotionally and physically years before?
I suggest you watch the TH-cam channel growing up in polygamy. It gives the point of view from a man who left his polygamist home that he grew up in at 18. He explains the fear culture and what was going on during the time that the Brown's were freaking out. These types of high demand religions rule and control by fear. They are taught at an extremely young age to fear police, people who have left the religion and gentiles. It's rather complicated but a fascinating rabbit hole to go down too. This channel has reviewed the sister wives television show. I believe a lot of us monogamist don't understand the mindset of someone who lives in this kind of lifestyle. We can get A bit judge mental because we don't understand someone else's mindset.
Agree completely. At times feel like banging the head against a wall when. Meri, Christine or Janelle say stuff that makes me think: WHY 😢😢😢
Good point. I never thought of it in terms of their history (upbringing). I just thought it was irrational. Which it was given the last prosecution and the fact that the Kingston's weren't gettting prosecuted~. But the life of fear can definitely affect your reasoning for sure!
The reason Preston wasn’t doing well on the child support payments is bc she spent the borrowed money that was to pay off debt. Apparently he had other debt bc of her before this and subsequently destroyed his business.(which I’d like explained) why not keep business that makes a living. So she left him in debt. Where did she expect the money to come from. But he does get remarried and has more kids. When he can’t pay for his first kids. So there’s a story right there. Doesn’t make sense.

I got my daughter into history quite early. We read the adult version of The Diary of Anne Frank. She was hooked on history. As luck would have it, the college she attended had an endowment of Holocaust artifacts, papers, even the Nuremberg Trial transcripts. It was her work study to organize and catalogue everything. Oh my, she was in hog heaven. She would call me and say "you're never going to believe what I'm holding". Her biggest drive in life was how did one man get everyone to hate so much. She read Mein Komph at 13 years old. Still no answers. So, yes, I frequently here my daughter talk way over my head 😂

Robyn had motives from the very beginning. She married Kody so she could be on the TV show Im sure. And now, the only reason Robyn is upset with all the OG wives leaving is because she 1) no longer has cash cows funneling funds in for her to use without having to work, and 2) can't be "the favorite wife" if she's the only wife.
I'm guessing -Robyn needed the parental rights given up, cause with the show she was hiding her income from Preston(and it was getting harder for her to do that). If Preston knew her income, Robyn would have had to pay him child support because she made so much more income than him, but he has no parental rights- then Robyn doesn't have to pay him support.
Last I heard Leon and Audrey were in Colorado.

The house was set up for 2 or 4 wives. It just wasn't divided equally or well.
In one of the first shows, they said that some of the kids would have dinner with her. They also went through meri's, so they could have less chaos. I have himk she said that it was mainly Gabe,, Ysabel, Gwen, , and I can't remember, but, Gabe and Gwen used to go to Meri's lto hang out.one of the older ones said that they could have a 'conversation 😊

I had to get a new Phone, that for reasons known only to Motora, the keyboard was changed, auto correct has a mind of its own...and it seems to be unable to Spell !
Not only that...the arrow key, the one you tap to post...is right next to the Space Bar. And for giggles, the backup key is on top of the arrow key....and on top of all of that, at times my tremors from the 'condition': I have, start,

Some, of the words I type, actually change into whatever this 'Machine' decides to do, so if I see it, another backup Adventure.
I proof it, before I post...then it changed a few words! I even have the 'before and after', of it all, just to make sure I still have my mind in tac.
I'm a writer, when I put that hat on, with a mild case of OCD, and I need to figure out how to have 'my' keyboard back .
I went through the 'patience test' a long time ago.
Word of advice....Never, Never, ask GOD to help you be patient.

About Meri .. I was in a comment thread when her younger sister was there.
She is very nice. she is 15 Years younger than Meri (young enough to get her butt kicked, if she played "Follow The Leader', Right into the bathroom. I know this because, I had four younger siblings)
Oh, Meri's Sister.
She said Meri was so kind, and the most generous person she knew, and that Meri visits a lot, And she calls them to talk.
I believed her...still do, because I remember when she took Brianna with her, after she was told that, Sol was at a stage where he wouldn't let Robyn out of his sight.
I can't believe I'm going to defend Robyn, but I understand that reason .
Meri always took one of the 18 with her. I believe that too, as Kody complained that Meri would be gone for days, at times, and Breanna seemed really comfortable with Meri's family, because she was smiling, and it seemed she knew them, and they knew her.
This incident was when, they lived in Vegas..
And why was Christine angry at her for talking about her in front of her family?
Ask yourself when was the last time Annie appeared on the show, before Christine's Wedding,, and do we know why she left, , just disappearing out of Christine's House, without any acknowledgement?
I think it was obvious.

Leon and Audrey were married in Denver during covid.
Oh, no no, I heard Cody tell Meri, while walking in the property in the wooded area, that he really thought they could rekindle their relationship there. Each one of the sister wives were being told exactly what they wanted to hear. Basically, Cody was blowing smoke up their backsides. Yet... Christine's oldest daughter was the only one wondering why they were leaving in such a hurry, not even selling their homes first, then looking for a place in Flagstaff.
I think Logan was in college when they moved into the houses.

Now regarding how Kody, Robyn and Meri found each other... i have an idea. It should note that its only my idea ... im only piecing what some of the adult children in interviews said and the book. What we know=Christine was asked if puddle monkey could make a doc or series about her life as a sister wife. Christine converses with family as a whole + the church. The LDS church was started in the USA, not another country. The mainstream LDS church (Latter Day Saints) was started in Palmyra, New York, in the 1800s. Members became known as Mormons because of their Book of Mormon- the book Joseph Smith, it’s founder & prophet, “translated” from “ancient gold plates” with a seer stone in his hat & used to create “Gods ONLY true church”.
It didn’t start out as polygamous at first & there are differing stories as to why they started practicing it. Joseph didn’t even tell his wife, Emma, for many years that he had 30+ other wives (some as young as 14 & betrothed or married to men he sent out of the country on missions for 4-8+years at a time).
Joseph was “martyred”while in jail (also for differing stories) & there were fights about who should be the next prophet. This is when many splinters of the religion started.
Polygamy had become common practice years before his death & grew in practice before they moved out West to Utah under the guidance of the original church’s new prophet Brigham Young. He lead them there & settled it & it’s surrounding areas- into Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, California, etc.
They were the largest groups of pioneers who developed & used the Oregon Trail to get to Utah & settled there.
Polygamy was continued under several Prophets after Brigham until the government said they wouldn’t recognize Utah as a state until they quit practicing polygamy. This just scattered the “extra” wives into hiding with their children. This is why the LDS church members didn’t trust the government (besides them already blaming the government for “murdering” Joseph). The splinters of the mainstream church still don’t trust the government & teach their children to fear them also just as the Brown’s did/do.
FYI- the “police” sirens as they call them in the first season as they are packing for Nevada, are actually from a fire engine🚒😂 We laugh every time they show that because my husband is a firefighter & we know the difference as many others do & should, especially the producers & editors!😂
I still laugh every time they dramatize that moment to push their agenda against cops & how dangerous the situation was & that they had to move, especially at this point when we all know the cops were going to leave them alone anyways🙄 Not cool Brown’s & TLC!

@@dbprice100 you’re welcome! There’s lots of speculation about the LDS church or Mormons & sometimes it helps if someone who was one & isn’t openly antagonistic about it explains it as simply as possible. There’s way more to it, but that was as condensed as I could get it & keep it simple.
Look into a man named Jacob Cochran & his “religion” the Cochranites & also John Humphrey Noyes & his group the Oneida Community. Their practices were used by Smith to grew his church by adding their teachings & their people to the LDS church. That will explain what the splinters of the LDS church are taught & practice & you’ll understand the Browns beliefs & understand why the LDS church didn’t make anything known about them- until the internet blew it all up & many members like my husband & I couldn’t handle all the lies & left.
