Fascinating how Kody blames Christine for not wanting another 1 house situation. Notice how Robyn is always silent about that 1 house. She did not want it. That is the last thing she wanted. She cannot even share her McMansion with anyone who is not Kody or a blood relative.
I totally agree with this. She was silent when Kody presented the one house idea.
Exactly. Robyn is silent when she doesn’t agree & lets Christine take the bullet. Like Janelle pointed out, Kody had an idea [that Robyn didn’t want] he would come back later with a change of plan.

Yes! Robyn and Kody's overuse of the word safe drives me crazy!
Even some of the children used the term ' not safe' often. It's becoming the Brown's family slang
But they all use it in some form or fashion and that drives me crazy. I would rather them say trust because that's what it boils down too they don't trust each other

Me too! It actually infuriates me when they use it. They have no idea what being unsafe is like. It is really therapy speak but they go overboard with it. Siblings fight & don't always get along since when has that been "unsafe"??? Or family arguments? I have a family member I choose not to talk to but I wouldn't say that person is unsafe...ugh 🤦♀️~ Tanya
Agreed. Robyn and Kody need to go learn what an unsafe family looks like. It’s not just people disagreeing with you, then going back to your mansion in a huff.

That one house business was so that lazy Kody never had to go from house to house. But we all know whose room he would have been most nights. it's really crazy for him to keep saying this crap. How can Robin not know Christine was sick of Kody putting her and her kids first. Bless your heart for watching and keeping us straight I give you credit my head would explode. When TLC recently talked to Robyn about the catfish incident Robyn said she was trying to help Meri come up with a plan to leave the family. Robyn doesn’t make sense. Why would she want to help Meri leave the family all those years ago and now she’s hysterical about Meri leaving in Season 18. I think Robyn knows exactly what she’s doing. IMO she’s a narcissist too and because she lies so much she doesn’t have a good memory to keep up with all of her own liee let alone Kody’s 😂
She did? She was trying to help Meri leave? Oh she makes me sick. Pretending she was Meri's friend all these years.
I think everyone that watches this show 100% hates kody and robin. They are now miserable and it shows and im loving it. Christine found happiness and it shows...you go girl.

I love your videos! I love how you break down Kody’s actual words and try to make sense of what he means. You’re doing God’s work! 😂 I agree that he rambles on and on and isn’t really paying attention to what he’s saying so when a follow up question is asked he has no idea. 😂 He can’t remember what he said 5 minutes ago.

The word "safe" confuses me. Safe to me meens fist fights the po po gets involved . And you hear on the police radio that my drunk cousins are having to call the cops on each other .
Now a better word would be in the Brown family, it may mean uncomfortable .

I think for Kody it is all about control, dominance, and being the leader (the big man). he cannot relate to others on a one-to-one level. Being a dominant, looked up to leader is what attracted him to the faith and what he can’t let go of. And women are to blame for all of it because because he cannot see women as equals.

Listening to Kody- locks, reminds me of a person in the interaction room when the cops are trying to get real answers from them but they are guilty so they talk in circles with word salad. Fustrating! He try’s to sound smart with big words, but do not use them correctly most times. Also Robins spin on things and her confusion is a total act,in my opinion.

Loving the videos. I honestly think Robyn and Kody wanted to be the head of the family and have everyone listening to them and have everyone going to family gatherings in their McMansion. The other wives were suppose to accept less and take crumbs that kody threw there way. It’s really telling that all the wives that left are very happy looking and Kody and Robyn look miserable. Lost the family and their financial security cos they were selfish.
Thank you, Jennifer. You're right....three happy faces, one sad face and one forced happiness expression which morphs into anger.
Kody just can't bring himself to recognize that the absolute break came when he wimped out and refused to come even for a few days to Ysabelle's bedside when she had spinal surgery. Christine stayed with her for weeks through all the risk and pain, but Kody blew it off, went to a wedding, hung out with Robyn's kids. Christine clearly lost all respect for him at that point, and then there was no point. If he wasn't going to be a father to their children, why bother.
He can't even stop and ask himself why that might have bothered her. I doubt he even remembers it.
But that's why he keeps coming up with really lame and incoherent reasons Christine left and/or he is so angry. He's angry because she confronted him with his inadequacy. But he can't face that, so he pretends SHE "destroyed his dream" or whatever. He pretends he wanted "one house," though obviously he doesn't, because he didn't even offer Meri space in the McMansion this season. He was offering her the barndominium, that isn't even built yet, rather than letting her have a room in his and Robyn's house.
And anyway, why, as even Robyn suggested, is he so furious at Christine for leaving when he swears he never loved her, not from the first, and didn't want "intimacy with her". If he despises her so much, you think he'd be glad she left. But what's really upsetting him is probably that deep inside he knows she lost all respect for him and was justified, because he abandoned his daughter in the most terrifying situation of her life.
He's so... lacking in self-awareness, but that's because he secretly knows he doesn't want to accept the reality of how inadequate he is.
This is very well stated. I agree with every word you wrote! Christine was SO good to him, that he has to go back to this One House Dream to find SOMETHING to justify him saying he didn't want her anymore. Yet, he STILL is fussing over her leaving! He's obsessed.

Kody must blame Christine and then transfer the convo to the whole family, because she is the heart of the 'family'. Without her, there is no family feel. He is delulu so he could never see it.

I think Kody has been using this technique on all his wives since the beginning. He would go around and spread gossip which was really his interpretation of what one of them had said/done. Thus he created disunity among all, because they have not always had time to ask what do you mean? Also, they have all said that when they asked him something in detail or demanded answers from him, he always walked away. Robyn benefits from the fact that he has no other house to fly to, so when she asks, maybe she can get the answer. But as we can see, she doesn't get any answers to her questions because either Kody doesn't understand what she says or he doesn't want to tell the truth (which is also something he does) because the truth is that Kody came ill-treated all the other wives and their children which led them to finally surrender. Which is bad for Kody's self-image, who is so sure he's so damn awesome that everyone wants to be married to him, which doesn't work out when everyone who breaks up with him blossoms after they leave him and his toxic masculinity.
Yes, indeed. I wonder if his ego will ever deflate enough to see that women do NOT think he is all that.
As a lover of words and grammar, I'm fast becoming one if your greatest fans. All the things Kody says that make me wince or do a confused head tilt seem to also make you wince and confusedly head tilt too. I'm delighted to have discovered your page and look forward to hearing more from you!

I think the problem with K and C goes beyond him pulling away. At the same time he tried to manipulate her into thinking it was her fault. He believed if he kept putting her down and making her feel like she failed him (rather than him failing her), she would try harder to be like Robyn to earn back his favor, attention and love. His anger stems from his frustration over his inability to tear her down and get her back in line. She left him and he fundamentally believes that she was the problem and he is the one who deserves better. But she left him. Thats a lot of cognitive dissonance so he has spent years trying to reconcile this. Thats why he makes no sense and keeps deflecting to irrelevant issues to maintain his belief that she was the problem and he was justified in treating her badly- therefore her leaving because he treated her badly, even though he maintains he didn’t, makes her wrong. She couldn’t live up to his “reasonable” expectations., her fault, she failed.

You absolutely right,he wanted that one house to be built for the other wives to pay it off for them. Then once he gets them to leave like they are now him and Robyn could do as they wish with the massive house, and their could have been endless possibilities. Get new wives, set up for Robyn kids to have their own part of the house with their family
Woah! Good point! Get the wives to pay for the 17,000 sq ft house with three additional full wings and the kids can live with their spouses there too!
Trying to understand Robyn through a lens of logic isn't going to help you understand her. As a psych major who has completed all my psychology classes for my bachelor's, I truly believe that Robyn is a narcissist. I know people throw around the word and say that Kody is a narcissist too, he probably is but I see more clinical signs of narcissim in Robyn than I do in Kody. I could give you a list of every narcissistic trait and match that to multiple instances of Robyn's actions and behaviors. Even the way she appeared to try to hold Kody accountable and tells him to not bring in the "sister wives"- she didn't do this to hold Kody accountable, she didn't do this to defend her sister wives, she did it as a way of deflecting blame off herself because she was a sister wife. She literally and physically CAN'T take any accountability or admit her flaws.
The reason Robyn doesn't "understand" why the sister wives left is because she's a narcissist who can't see outside of herself, she incapable of empathy or self reflection. The other wives were emotionally and physically abandoned, the other children were left fatherless, Robyn allowed Kody to stay at her house rather than making him go to Ysabel's surgery, Jenelle was basically homeless with her daughter while Ko-Ro were living in a mansion filled with junk. Meri was so lonely and devastated, sitting at home by herself, after being completely cast out, Robyn didn't even bother staying in contact with her over texts for months at a time, that's how little Meri meant to Robyn, she wasn't even worth texting yet she begged Meri to stay, Robyn knew Meri was alone and sad but Robyn was able to go on with her life, she was able to sleep at night, next to Kody, while Meri was by herself and pining. How was Robs able to sleep in her mansion at night knowing Jenelle and Savanah were living in an RV without running water? Because she lacks empathy, the way Robs sees the situation is, they have the show, they have the money, Kody and thus Robyn were getting the TLC checks, the other wives were throwing money into the "family pot" to support Ko-Ro, Robs got to have Kody as much as she wanted, Robs kids had a dad, Robs was able to shop and spend however she saw fit, she didn't have to work, she didn't even have to raise her own kids, the nanny did. The situation was great for her and because it was great for her, everyone else should be just as happy with the situation. In Rob's mind, she is the sun and everyone else are the planets, they have to revolve around her. That's why she doesn't allow her kids to have relationships that don't include her and why she tries to insert herself into all of Kody's other relationships, she has to be at the center of everything.
She is a "special being" with "emotionally maturity" she "speaks Kody" and needs to "counsel" all Kody's relationships, she's an "empath" she's "all heart" and since she's such a "special" being, she's entitled to special treatment. That's why she's entitled to the nicest stuff, the biggest house, the most land, the most money, the most time with Kody, her kids who are just extensions of her, deserve Kody to be a dad to them, the other kids have "bullied" and slighted her, they don't deserve Kody. Other people and their wants, needs and desires don't matter to her, she can't understand them because they're not "special" like she is, their needs don't matter. She doesn't see that others are just as entitled to things as she is, if she's getting what she wants then everyone else should just be happy to be a part of HER life. She sees Kody and her kids as parts of her, not their own people, because they're extensions of her they're entitled to special treatment as well. This is also why she does things like holding grudges against the other kids for not being thrilled about her being pregnant, she's special, how dare these lower people insult her in such a way, they should be thrilled that they were getting a "special" sibling finally.
If anyone needs proof, I'll give the biggest example. She got rid of her kid's biodad because she couldn't control her kids when they were with him, she couldn't share love or allow her kids to have a relationship outside of her. Dayton is 24, Aurora is almost 22 and Breanna is almost 20 and none of them have lives of their own, we saw on the season 17 Thanksgiving episode how Robs brainwashes her kids, she's now sitting her kids up to stay with her forever, never having families of their own, sacrificing their lives, dreams and goals for their mother, as she's turning them into helpless victims who blame the Brown family for "ruining" their lives, she's crippling them in order to keep them. She's so special that everyone is "jealous" of her, they're always thinking about her and are out to get her just because she's special, this is why she's always the victim. Being the special and flawless person she is, she doesn't make mistakes, therefore everything is everyone else's fault.

You really can't underestimate the power of intuition, the fans are intuitive, they see through Ko-Ro and waaaayyy too often are completely right. Always trust your instincts, older women especially are very good at trusting their instincts. My mom called Robyn out at the finale of season one when she called me into her bedroom and said "look, these dummies let her into their family, she's going to destroy the family and rake everything!" I rolled my eyes, thinking my mom was too harsh on "poor Robyn." 22 year old me was not very intuitive lol, always trust Moms, aunts and grandmas, young ladies!

Jenny, Robyn is playing Kody for a fool and knows exactly what she is doing, when I rewatch old episodes her body language always shows what she thinks. Robyn doesn't want to lose the paycheck and Kody is never ever going to take responsiblity ever , the Big house is the newest goal post to change as she meets what he wants

A lot of viewers speculate on Robyn having thyroid issues. If she does , it could explain part of her issues, weight gain, depression, memory problems. Also if she has parathyroid issues , it has a mental component to it. Its discribed as moans, bones, groans, with psychological over tones.
Im being gracious right now because if we are honest it doesnt explain or excuse her choices.

15:00 I interpreted his comment about attitude to mean that K couldn't take Christine's attitude/behavior. Not that he didn't have the right attitude, but he couldn't tolerate / take Christine's attitude.
Well, that's very possible. Also possible he was thinking about using the word one way in one sentence and then changed for other sentences. To be in his mind must be a scary thing.

I do believe that her life is coming, unraveled no matter if she really wanted the polygamy or if she didn’t I think what happened is a shock even if they knew it was coming just because everybody hates change and Robin knows that she caused the problem even though she’s not owning up to it and part of her confusion is that she doesn’t own up to it

But what you don’t understand is the original sister wife show started in 2007 they filmed for about a year thereabouts maybe for two years and then after showing about a season and a half or so maybe they decided that it was too boring. There wasn’t enough drama so they wanted to add a fourth wife production and wanted to add a fourth wife and it just so happened that Robin the woman from the book was just getting a divorce
Well, I think producers encouraged it before the show even started because they introduce Robyn in season one ep 2 and they say her and Kody had been dating awhile already at that point.

Can you get a portable hard drive and plug it into your computer for more storage space? They are relatively inexpensive and would give you some breathing room with storing the large video files.
I tried. I guess I was adding so much and deleting files/programs so much all in the couple of days that it did not even have enough space to transfer files. I guess the computer still needs SOME memory to know to transfer files. Once I got a second computer, I started deleting larger files/programs like WORD and EXCEL and then it would transfer to my external hard drive. Of course I had a second computer by then! LOL.
I think you are being fooled by Robyn here , I was getting pulled in as well but I always go back to all of the things she has done and then denies and her actions speak louder than word;;;
I believe Robyn asked kody what he thought broke up him and Christine bc she had coached him beforehand on how to answer that question , with a lie of course . That question wasn’t impressive it was calculated to make herself look innocent

“Forgive ‘em” was referring to the “sins of the past”. He didn’t understand Robyn’s question regarding: forgive “who” b/c there was no “who” to forgive in his stream of thought, but he was actually trying to remember “who” he was claiming he couldn’t forgive.
Technically he could have just answered “Christine” because it was her sins he was referring to, but he was thrown off that she was confused by his brilliant point. LOL
I think Kody is a total tool, but I do think the point he made here was valid. Everyone always claimed they were truly one family in Utah under one house, but they didn’t like the way the house’s division of space was not equal and lack of privacy. Kody always said he wanted to be back in one big house. He did try to design a house that allowed everyone to have equal yet different spaces.
He really thought that if he solved the problem of unequal space, lack of privacy in one house he would overcome Christine’s aversion to it (since Christine was unhappy with the “basement wife” concept).
Kody’s design did treat them all fairly, allowed for privacy and autonomy, provided privacy, and also solved the shared kitchen complaint.
IMO Kody’s house design was a good design IF they all truly planned to stay together. Christine held true to never living in one house and kept claiming it was because of privacy - and possibly seeing each other leave on dates (as if she couldn’t see that if she looked out the window in Vegas). Christine’s real reason is because she didn’t want to watch Kody be happy with Other people while she was no happy in here marriage and she wanted an asset of her own so that she can leave with something.
When Kody realized she was holding firm to living in separate houses he totally changed and his change in mindset was the catalyst for the OG3 to give up on him. (Covid was only an excuse for Kody to maintain distance in relationships he no longer had the interest in maintaining)

Ive seen some people say that Robyn has a disability. Not in a derogatory way, but like an explanation about why she meeded more. I feel kinda bad bashing her if she really does have a disability that we havent been made aware of. Her son is on the autism spectrum, and often a diagnosed neurodivergent child has an undiagnosed neurodivergent parent. Or maybe some kind of chronic illness. Its hard for me to believe shes really so evil and conniving...
But i guess NPD is under the neurodivergent umbrella, and given her upbringing she very likely has childhood trauma.
I know it soulds like I'm making excuses for her, but in the recent look/talk backs other than her histrionics.... i noticed IPV behaviours like apologising for everything etc. I just hope we arent collectively dumping on a potentially disabled and or abused woman :/

She definitely is a puzzle! I pray, she does not have a disability. I would feel horrible if that were the case! I assume we are dealing with a selfish otherwise normal adult. I pray that is the case! Plus, I don't wish disorders or disabilities on anyone, for sure.

R asked K's opinion as a counter to C's recent declaration that C pulled away when she was told that K didn't find her attractive, followed by when K didn't go to Ysabel's surgery. This little scripted set-up provided air time for K to put forward his rebuttal and transfer all blame and responsibility back on Christine, where the duo think it belongs. For example, if C had a better attitude it would have worked. I recall an interview when C said she couldn't stomach the idea of living in a wing of that big house and basically having to visit him under one roof under unfavorable conditions. C already knew that she wasn't liked, and that the duo were soulmates that excluded Christine. She said she couldn't do it. So, K and R are attempting to run interference and do some damage control to redeem themselves. Too late. Everybody with a moral compass saw the shite going in for years, and K and R's attempt to re-write history appeals to their narc need to redeem their character for viewer acceptance. Nope. I'm not buyin' it. The problem with conniving liars is they can't keep it all straight.
Notice their all still avoiding the big truth topics that C knew that R's divorce story was a lie. R and K interpret a conscience as having bad attitude.
