Let’s remember that Janelle had to rent an Air B nB because she was living in a very small apartment and could not host her kids for Christmas. She needed the room. Then Christine decided to chip in to extend the stay so they can get together AFTER Christmas. If Janelle had a decent home there would have been no rental required.
Exactly!! I saw that whole fire pit thing as Kody throwing a hissy fit “I HAVE a home” crap. He never gave Janelle a chance before he was yelling about betrayal and neutral ground and SEE I knew this would happen.
PLUS if he recanted on the apology thing, why didn’t he say oh yes they’re all welcome here instead of the rental?? Janelle clearly said Christine was coming after Christmas so HE COULD SEE TRULY AND YSABEL! He wasn’t mad at them was he??? Well I think they ending up going later but he LEFT OUT SAVANNAH!

I think Robyn hates that her performances are so ridiculous. That mess of a performance on the finale has to be humiliating. There is some editor or producer/ director allowing her to make an absolute fool of herself.😅

Love how Goblin looks like a total idiot lol. She seldom appears on the show anyhow and yet when she does...it's always the DRAMATIC cry that produces no tears!
Kody is not doing himself any favors by constantly bringing up Janelle and her kids celebrating Christmas in the B&B. Janelle did not have a home large enough to celebrate with her kids.

I think Robin knows how bad both her and Kody look to the audience and her asking hi these questions, is kinda like her going “See, it’s not me, it’s him! He tells me lies like this all the time! I’m just a trusting victim!”
Robyn is trying to repair her public image that is why she is pretending to challenge Kody.

Kody’s a narcissist. In order to understand why he’s saying those things about the other women understand that he accuses them of what he does, if that makes sense. So he will say things to push their buttons or he will say things to try to get the kids to turn against their mothers. Robyn does the same thing. Like when she sat her kids down at Thanksgiving and made it look like the rest of the family didn’t want to spend Thanksgiving with Robyn’s family. It’s such a twisted thought process. It’s hard to understand unless you’ve been with a narcissist. Whatever they accuse others of is what they’re doing.
This is very well put. These reviews may be a waste because trying to analyze a narcissist is pointless.

Robyn's demeanor, her body language, the places she weighs in, all indicate a woman that is trying to give the impression of being unhappy and checked out. She is going to leave Kody. Could I be wrong? Yeah, but I don't think I am. Most of what Robyn has communicated over the last season seems to be an attempt to make Kody look bad. She is seeding the path trying to make herself look like a victim of the family at large, and since the wives are gone, now she is centering her blame on him
I hate the thought of her leaving and getting all the other wives money that in their properties and house. :(

Often during the show, Robyn looks like she just don't wanna be there. At 44.51 she's looking up and down at Kody, while pulling herself away, like "I'm left with THIS? I need to get out".
And we all know she is getting ready to leave.
She too can be happy.
Right. Sometimes she almost looks like she is being held hostage by him and gives the impression that if she doesn't respond in a Kody affirming manor, she'll feel the wrath.
Yes, this whole talk back she makes rare eye contact with him. And when she does, she does fleetingly then looks away. Often seeming frustrated with him.

Your nails look wonderful. I also LOVE the sounds you put in to cover up various "cuss words." Have you noticed how Robyn is so bossy with Kody? She oft' says things like "WOAH, WOAH, WOAH! You NEED to stop doing x, y and z." She did the same thing at the picnic table. She clearly is the patriarch of this family and wears the pants for sure.

I just found your channel today and I’ve already watched two of your videos on the season 18 ‘One on One’ interviews. They’re great, and you are so relatable. You’re intelligent and insightful, you are a skilled observer of human nature and behaviour, and you are very, very funny. It’s very helpful to listen to you analysing how the family members relate to each other, the changing dynamics over the years and how the family unit has been disintegrating for some time. I just have to say that Meri, Janelle and Christine are looking so much better since they left K&R. They are happier, more content, confident, joyful and healthy. In fact they look much younger too. In contrast…well…K&R are looking much older, less healthy and just miserable and ill disposed all the time.

I think it was janelle and Kody's epic fight that Robin kept her head turned and wouldnt watch during the tell all interview of her by suki. She kinda covered her face and turned away with her head and body but you know she was keeping an ear perked so she could catch every word!

I wondered that half way through the episode. Is this her attempt to not respond so noone can critique her. Unfortunately, if that's the case, it backfired.
LOL Christine isn't in Idaho she's in Salt Lake City area in her duplex. Just thought I'd let you know. I think this may have been filmed around Christmas of last year because it's snowing very lightly at Christine's place and there is a wreath on the door. I do believe she was dating David at this point but it would have been fairly early in the relationship. Thanks hon. XO

She's either medicated or REALLY playing the part of not participating well!
Kody put out a BOUNDRY, that he didn’t want his kids over until they did a certain behavior (talk to him, apologize, whatever). They didn’t want to do that behavior, so they respected his BOUNDRY and didn’t come. He’s having a fit because he cant control the behavior of his adult children or wives.

Robin is up to her old trick again. She does nothing but cry with no tears. Robin and Kody are just trying to come up with a storyline to keep the show. She shows that she is miserable during these sit downs. However, when they show clips with her and Kody out and about, she is smiling and having a good time. She wants everybody to think that nothing is her fault, and what they all are saying about her is not true. TLC cancel this show.

Merry Christmas! I just found and subscribed to your channel. I so enjoyed your ‘senior perspective’ of the latest episode. I just can’t believe how horrible Kody is…and so manipulative. I hate to admit that I bought what he was selling for years into the show! His true colors came out with the support of Robyn, his enabler. Surprisingly, Christine, Meri and Janelle have failed to mention (or realize?) they were there as a source of income for Robyn, nothing more. It’s so obvious.

Re: the 'analysis' - There's an actual licensed counselor with an "analyzing" S.W. channel that gives Kody credit + sympathy at least as much as he critiques him. So aggravating to listen to! But occasionally, his non-professional wife joins him, and, like you, she has intuitively got Kody nailed. (If you ever wanted to do collabs way down the road, you and the wife would be very funny together. You are hysterical.)

I dont get how Janelle says the goal was for the siblings to treat eachother like brothers and sisters.....hang on a minute...aren't they ALREADY brothers and sisters?
And as for Goblin, I'm not trying to defend her, but in the beginning, I think she didn't want to share Scody because that's all she wanted, she didn't really want the family, she just wanted the fame and money...but now that all the wives except her has left him, I think she's regretting everything because she now realises that Scody is hard work, an a$$hole and it's all about me me me. I think she in a weird round about way, did love the actual family, but Scody had something to do with turning the wives against her so he could have this marriage all to himself because he became obsessed with her.
Quite frankly, I think she's fn miserable and feels trapped and not as in love with Scody as people are lead to believe. Either that, or she's a damn good actress!

@@SeniorPerspective-123 I honestly believe she wont last more than another 5 years with Kootie because who the hell would want to be stuck with an old sour puss like Kootie? Also, I believe she will take him for half if not more of what Kootie has, that was paid for by the other wives leaving him broke, just like she did with her first husband David Jessop. She left him with over $30k debt that she accumulated, then told the other wives she still had that debt, which they paid and David ended up filing for bankruptcy.

Love your video clips! I understand that there hard work, but you insert them perfectly! I grew up in a very large extended family. In the early days we got together for every major holiday. The thing is, kids grow up, get married, have kids themselves and their own extended families. They have more responsibilities that pull them in different ways.

I got sick just in time for Christmas, so I’ve been binging TH-cam and keeping my eye out for reviews on the talk back episode and wow, you didn’t disappoint! I was so invested in your thoughts and opinions, I was shocked when I realized I’d been watching you for almost an hour. 😂 This is only the first video I’ve seen of yours, so take that into account when I give my opinion, But I thoroughly enjoyed the little clips you include throughout your video. I laughed out loud several times when you would say something and then insert a clip and that would be exactly what I was thinking. ☠️ in my humble opinion, if inserting these clips are bringing you joy, keep them coming! They are obviously a huge time commitment, so that’s why I say “if they are bringing you joy”. Because you’re super entertaining on your own. The clips are awesome, but so are you. I think for anyone who chooses a polygamist lifestyle, you need to understand that if it goes bad, you are going up against several exes at once. In Kody's case, all three of his exes happen to be really intelligent and unafraid. Total triple whammy!

I'm so glad you found me, Carol!! Thanks for subscribing!! ❤. No worries, you can go back and watch the old ones at your leisure between this season (whenever it ends!) and next season. For fun, of course! haha. Truth is, my first video was episode 10, so you didn't miss much. I started more than half way through the season when I couldn't take the frustration level and had to get it out but NO ONE I knew watched Sister Wives! So here I am. But I WILL go back between seasons and complete episodes 2-9 which I never did retrospectively. Basically because I have slight undiagnosed OCD and it will bother me that I went back and did episode 1 but no other ones.

Just found your channel tonight, love your portrayal of Kody (make it make sense) and Sobyn Robyn retelling of history. Kody is 100% responsible for the way the children feel because he has done nothing but talk crap about their mothers all season, makes me so mad I wish the children would speak up and tell this idiot who's fault it is!!!

About the Kody hair, my youngest son inherited his dad’s hair, which was beautiful. If either washed their hair and just let it air dry, they got those ringlet curls naturally. A lady I used to work with had the same type of hair. I told my son that many women pay a lot of money to get their hair to look like that 😊😊. I would have loved to have it, mine is so straight that it won’t even hold a curl if I try . I’ve gotten very tight perms trying to get that style and within a few weeks it would already start getting straight again. So Robyn may have just shown him how to use the proper products, not blow dry or excessively brush it so he could get the natural curls.
I think so. Because you can tell it has always had curl in it based on the frizz when he blew it out.
I just put this on while I had the TV ( rare to myself ) on to fold and cut cards. You just ripped on Kody ( 👏🏼👏🏼) , you totally knew what I was thinking! I just let the videos roll.

Robyn chooses to be “ clueless”. One day she’ll wake up if she hasn’t already it’s Kody spin aka his bruised ego. How he treated his other 3 wives is one day how he’ll treat you.
Most of Kody’s kids are adults. Because you don’t see them or have a relationship is on you and no one else. Sad sad.

The wives still feel a certain loyalty to Kody and will never open up all the way. And the producer that lives next door to Kody likes Kody or Kody wouldn’t still have a show.
