Robyn didn't want Christine to watch her kids because she saw how much the other kids loved Christine. Imo
Bingo! 💯 correct. Robyn was so threatened by Christine, and rightly so. Christine does it all, very smart and capable. Robyn is such a sad, horrible person. She then went to Kody and told him everything that Christine told her in confidence. She also pitted Kody against her as she constantly bitched and moaned about Christine. Said Christine wouldn’t watch her children which was a lie. Robyn hovers around them ao mich she’s afraid of letting them out of her sight. The only thing that she did that was a positive, she exposed the cracks in the other marriages and they ALL finally left deplorable Kody and Robyn.
And she didn’t want the kids or Christine finding out anything about Robyn’s household. Kids talk to each other. Robyn would be asking nosey questions if Christine’s kids.So she thinks they’ll do the same.

Sobyn was always jealous of Christene . Christened was loved by all the kids and had a bubbly fu personality . Plus she was so much prettier.

Janelle said her kids could walk into Christine’s house and open the fridge and take something out for themselves. They could never do that at Robyn’s house. That is very telling.

Not sure what episode showed it but in one of the last two seasons Robin's fridge had a note that said something along the lines of if you don't live here don't eat our food
Christine's comment is correct, Robyn never lived in polygamy because even when she entered the Brown family she did not live in the same household, she kept her kids separated as much as possible, she did not sacrifice anything for the family, she monopolized Kody's time and the resources, she portrayed herself as monogamist with her actions.
Robyn used the resources from 3 wives of kody & the reality show. Owed $30,000 when she came in. That takes nerve. The OG3 paid her debt she accrued while in her 1st marriage. That's a lot of debt. Thought Kody vetted Robyn.
Robin gets lot of weight these daysvand look depressed..she was beauty but other ladies are now muchbprettier than her.i think its very Hard to live Ccody

Robyn’s daughters were not made to dress modestly. Robyn, with a Victoria's Secret credit card, appeared to be wearing modest clothes for the first time. Seven year old Aurora was in capped sleeves and a jeans mini skirt. Later with the Darggers, Robyn is in the ocean wearing a plunging bathing suit with as much cleavage as she could muster.

The kids Christine "mothered" have successfully launched and live adult lives. Five are married and at least two are homeowners. Even Garrison was a homeowner at 23 along with Logan and Maddie. Meanwhile the kids Robyn "mothered" are having a daddy/daughter date to get ears pierced, are living in an RV in the driveway or are 8 years old with a binky.

The Paul that took his own life was Paul Jr., Robyn's half brother, not Sr. who was Robyn's step dad. Your comment made me wonder if you knew. Carol was a legal wife.
It’s funny how Sobyn’s stepdad was able to adopt them without being married to her mom. However, Kody had to divorce Meri to adopt Liebrow’s kids. 🤔

These kids already have a father. There was never a need. Robyn just wanted to get closer to a legal share of the others money. They should never have given Kody control over the reality shows money or a portion of their individual incomes. They all got away. I do hope Robyn’s kids can separate themselves from this whole mess too. They have no example on how to find independence or individuality. It’s sad

Exactly! If fair is fair all the wives should be "spiritual wives" No one wife should rule the other wives. It was sold to the public as a joint venture. Sister Wives helping each other all the time with an involved Dad. The Browns lied. Nothing was fair among the wives or kids. Kody did not even have a good job to bring in consistent money to feed HIS kids. Welfare, Medicaid, WIC to support the wives & kids & the wives had jobs. What about Kody? What percentage of money did he ever contribute to the family before reality TV. All the big money has come from the TV show which Christine is responsible for getting the Browns on TV.
Kody is not a man. A man who had 4 wives & 18 kids. He should have been out their pounding the pavement to have a good paying job before the TV revenue.
Now Kody is the big man. No he is NOT. He is a complaining, whining baby-man who turned his back on 13 kids and 3 women who he married Not in good faith.
He married them for a number & to produce kids for his then faith. That is appalling & no one FORCED him to marry the 3 wives.
In polygamy, the man gets to choose a wife. Call Meri the pimp of his wives. Kody married for reasons some not solely about love or caring. But he did take them as wives & they birthed him 13 kids. He admitted he married Christine because she was considered polygamy royalty. A real perk for Kody. The Brown family is full of lies. This show should be cancelled at some point soon. They have season 19 at least. Maybe 20?
Frankly, if I never heard about any member of the Brown family again it would be great. I only want to hear that the women get their money back for the property & the mansion.

I do not understand why the OG3 never had bad things to say re Robyn when she married Kody & started to TAKE OVER the " Brown family culture". It was surreal. Robyn was explaining Kody to his three wives of decades? Robyn was explaining what Kody meant when he said something, Robyn babbled about what a great dad & husband Kody was to 4 wives & all the kids, Robyn demanded stuff & Kody made it happened, Robyn had her own rental in Lehi before moving to LV. The list goes on & on.
Why? Because Kody was in lust/love with everything Robyn. He was like a high school kid who gives his virginity to a girl he really likes. Only thing, Kody had 3 wives & 13 biokids at the time he hooked up with Robyn.
Let's be real Kody driving hours every weekend to see Robyn was not platonic.

It doesn’t make sense except she didn’t want her kids talking to their kids without her there to intervene. Aurora already made the statement that the two of them just board themselves all day in the bedroom. That’s why she got a nanny. Bc Aurora didn’t want to watch the kids all day.

I have another theory on why Robyn didn’t want to live with the family, and Janelle, before the marriage. Yes, she wanted to get to know Kody more, but in my opinion, in a physical way, not a spiritual way. If she lived in the same house as the rest she couldn’t do that!

Jenny, I don’t think Paul Sullivan adopted Robyn and her siblings. When Robyn married David Preston Jessop, her name was listed on the marriage application as Robyn A Marck. That was her legal name. She just used the Sullivan name as did her mother.
Thanks for the info on Robyn's maiden name. Apparently after her husband divorced her she took the name Sullivan which explains the 3 different names she owed debt under. Which by the way she had basically 2 years to pay off but waited until she needed to get a loan for the house in Vegas. Then she also shamed people who really struggle to pay their debts. So many reasons to not trust her!

you know who was paying and it sure wasn't Snobbin, Kody always says she came "cap in hand" he fails wo mention that that cap was filled with unpaid bills, 3 kids and not job or money. It breaks my heart that Janelle with the house that she had when she and Kody married and the house she bought when she left him and was on her own, and the house she sold in Vegas is the one that ended up with NO house. That infuriates me. Snobbin was a snake in the grass from the jump. I've tried to like her and it just ain't happenin'. The only thing Snobbin is an expert on his manipulation & getting her own way no matter who it hurts.
Janelle deserves her own home. Sell Coyote Pass & divide the money between the women. Sell the mansion & all the crap inside & divide the money owed Janelle & Meri. Kody & Robyn can downside to 4 bedrooms, make the older kids get some kind of job & K&R can get jobs. Problem solved. It is not right or fair that Kody has "his" home & Janelle has no home to live in. Christine is fine, Meri has her B&B. Make this right.

Matriarchy - The OG3 had evolved into a matriarchy in Lehi for the family to function and survive. It terrified Robyn because that was not how her mom and step-father practiced polygamy.
Kody doesn't know what polygamy is. Kody had no expectations or understanding of polygamy. He did not grow up in polygamy. His parents joined the AUB and brought in another wife while Kody was away on mission. He did not see the jealousy. He did not see the adjustments. He did not experience growing up with the competition or jealousy with other siblings from other mothers. When he came home from his mission, he saw the respect that other men in the AUB had for his dad. Kody had no life goals of his own. He is a follower. He wanted the respect of the other men and his dad. It never felt like polygamy was a religious calling to him. Kody had experienced growing up in monogamy and having several girlfriends in high school. The girls in high school all got along with each other. It felt like he had assumed that polygamy was more of the same with the added bonus of sex with multiple women, having children and gaining the respect of the men.
Meri grew up in polygamy from the age of 9. She was indifferent to becoming a polygamous before she met Kody but she knew how it worked. Meri was a perfectionist trying to become the perfect polygamous wife with the perfect polygamous family. Meri was in charge of how the family should work. Kody fell in with Meri's rules because she knew more than he did and he did not want the responsibility.
Janelle did not grow up in polygamy. Her mom had several monogamous marriages. Janelle's childhood was unsettled and she had several 'dads'. She knew nothing about polygamy and did not start researching it until she married Meri's brother Adam (her first husband). After her divorce, she remained friends with Meri and Kody. Janelle was attracted to the religious side of the polygamous, communal lifestyle: extended family, some sex, expected to have lots of kids, independence, a safety net, security). The man was not the draw. Janelle's inclusion was rough because neither she nor Kody had considered, witnessed or had previous experience of the realities of polygamy.
Christine grew up in polygamy with the title of 'entitled princess'. She had a very idealized view of polygamy. It never occurred to her to not enter polygamy. She added weight to the family as to how polygamy was supposed to function. She added support to what Meri was trying to put in place. She did it with childlike smiles, giggles and going along to get along.
It always felt like Kody left everything up to the women to decide. He would let them fight it out and accept whatever they decided. Where each lived. How money was earned. How money was spent. How they would function/not function as a family. How the kids would be raised. The schedule and whose bed he slept in each night. etc. Kody was reasonably happy with the arrangement because it meant that he did not have to lead or make decisions. As some of the older kids have said, Kody was rarely home when they lived in the one house Lehi. He hit the open road with his sales job often and for extended periods of time. He got to play the fun, no responsibility guy, while the women did the heavy lifting at home.
A matriarchy had evolved for the family to survive. I think that the matriarchy was the "cloak of charity" that Kody talks about that gave him credibility.
The matriarchy terrified Robyn. She would be one of four and the last one in. Robyn disrupted the family with her insistence of her definition of polygamy: a patriarchy led by a strong man, separate monogamy, each wife lives separate (her 2 moms lived in different states), minimal interaction of the families, being the 'mistress' wife (aka set up a competition with the other wives for attention). The Brown family communal living arrangements and relationships were foreign to her. It stressed her out. She was shocked that she had to deal with the rest of them on everything. She complained to Kody. She made Kody think and reconsider to make her happy.
Robyn made Kody believe he needed to establish a patriarchy to impress her, to make Robyn feel safe. Until then he had never considered that it could be different. Kody liked what Robyn was selling. “It’s all ego baby!”
Kody does not know how to be a patriarch. He never explained to the other wives that he wanted to change the rules and arrangements because he did not understand what it means. Kody let the original family disintegrate through neglect. Kody is no agent of positive change. He was no head of the family. He abdicated family leadership. When he did make a decision, it meant chaos to all. He kept waiting for them to exhaust themselves, hit rock bottom, to figure out on their own what he expected from them and fall in line. Then he gets angry when the first 3 wives and children move on to independent lives without him. The OG3 wives and kids outgrew him and left him behind. The "cloak of charity" dissolved too.
I think the matriarch before Robyn had a lot of problems too. Polygamy just doesn't seem to work no matter who's in charge.
Kody never knew how to LEAD. The women did everything. They earned money, they birthed kids, they directed kody. KODY has zero abilities except to have sex, make babies he will never raise, avoid real husband relationships with the wives. He even appointed Meri to find new women as potential new wives. She was his pimp. How embarrassing. Kody was a bed hopper until he fell for Robyn. He fell hard I to lust. Must be nice. He used up the first 3 wives & now he only wants to get busy with darling, sexy in the bedroom Robyn. How wonderful for HIM. He is disgusting.

Beautiful analysis of the Brown family structure. The OG3 did evolve into Matriarchy by necessity. Kody had no tools in his box to be the patriarch. He was clueless. Maybe the making of babies with multiple agreeable "wives" was the one part of polygamy he grasped. 18 kids (3 of which are adopted to please Robyn)
Kody is Mr Chaos. Whatever he decides when he puts his foot down is done with Chaos & fear & lack of foreplanning. He believes he is being a leader but he makes the worst financial decisions.
Without the extra TLC money thrown his way, Kody & Robyn would have been broke by now. Kody with his p*ss poor behavior toward the OG3 that led to Christine finally leaving Kody was a shock to his core. The wife who comes from polygamy "royalty" jumped the Kody ship. Kody thought he could treat the 3 wives who worked to make his polygamy lifestyle workable got fed up with his abuse & abandonment.
What has Robyn done? She is lazy (unlike the other 3 exwives), needs a nanny/housekeeper, cries a lot, whines & complains about everything, feels "unsafe" etc. She brings no money to the table except for her reluctant participation in the TLC show. And she does camera work in shades of moods: angry, hurt, unsafe, Kody is never at her house(?), kody is so angry because the other women left me alone with her legal husband & no fun allowed in her mansion. She is isolating 5 kids with kody's agreement so they are out of the loop of what their Brown siblings are living. Must be such a happy household. Grumpy Kody & crying Anxiety-ridden Mommy.
It seems Robyn, with the least amount years married to Kody and least amount of experience living a polygamist lifestyle, wanted to be the expert, taken seriously, give relevant input, and be caught up to the other wives and accepted as an equal. The other wives didn’t buy into the idea of her being an expert. The kids were forming their own opinions as they matured. Robyn’s relevancy was less important as time went on. What she managed to succeed at was monopolizing Kody’s time and becoming his favorite. The other wives already had their legit living experiences, knew their needs, and expressed their opinions accordingly.
Robyn is insufferable. The other wives were endlessly patient and gracious to Robyn. I would have snapped lol

This is one of the things that irked me from the beginning with Robyn. She was the end all of be all know it all.
"Polygamy's going out of style". Yes it is. And Kody Brown is probably the second biggest factor in that. (Behind Warren Jeffs). It is so ironic that Kody started this show in an attempt to make polygamy acceptable, and he has instead made it detestable. Who would want to happen to them and their kids, what happened to the OG3 and their kids?
She is only an expert on how to fail at it.

The original story came from Robyn's "friend" Kendra. She told the tabloids that Robyn doesn't leave her room because she's cuddling with Kody until noon.

Robyn has that cousin Reba who was supposedly instrumental in her meeting the Browns. However, she apparently wasn’t important enough for Robyn to ever visit again or talk about on the show. Yet she was driving hours to see Reba so she could create those meet cutes with Kody.

The reason that sobin didn't want Christine to watch her kids is because then the othet sister wives would know how mucg Kody and Sobin spent in the bedroom and not working like they both have said.

I think one of the reasons polygamy is illegal is the situation with Robyn’s stepdad. His 1st wife had no idea he went off and “married” Robyn’s mom.

Her mother & siblings received nothing from her step dad’s estate when he died in February’22. History repeat itself as It appears Kody will not leave any of his estate to the OG wives & kids.

She thinks that the 50/50 divorce laws will not include coyote pass ? it’s in their marital assets acquired during their marriage. Everything with Kodys name on it is ALSO part of the 50/50 assets. That’s why Janelle & Meri need to remove Kodys name (& Robyn) from their properties but… Kody will claim that he’s part owner of their lots too.
They’ll have to sue him & Robyn to get their $$.
Kody isn’t going to give it back without taking a cut. It’s not his money technically but because he put his name on everything they’re gonna’ have to fight him for it.
Christine was openly opposed to having another wife. Sure, she was heavily pregnant with Truely, or just given birth to her (I can't remember exactly), but I remember a scene with Christine essentially saying that Robyn had better be the very best. Robyn knew she wouldn't or couldn't be that, and was probably pretty cognizant that Christine didn't want a 4th wife rocking a pretty stable boat. That might be why she didn't want Christine usurping the nurturing mother role.
Not to mention the expense of another wife and three kids.
It's beyond evident that Robin began forming her fortress of allies to forge ahead with her agenda to isolate Kody. With Mindy and "HER FAMILY" surrounding and living with her from the beginning, her posse would keep sister wives away, excuse why cameras are not allowed access to her home and ensure no chance of true SW team work forming. But in her public interviews, she was adored and idolized by Kody as the most loyal, by delivering her SW play book theories and grandstanding SW speeches. She was clearly culminating her role as the wife in the castle, to be longed and lusted after by her soon to be monogamous husband.
Of course Robyn needed a live-in nanny for when she was working . . . working to keep her best customer satisfied and happy and giving her all the $$$ and trinkets she wanted.

That's why it isn't bigamy. There are laws against polygamy, (non legal multiple marriages), too. I think they 'decriminalized' it in Utah a while back, but the laws remain, as far as I can tell.

Christine was absolutely right. Robyn never lived polygamy. As an adult or as a child. Her stepfather was not a “true” polygamist. He was just like those men who cheat on their wives and have a secret second family. Only in his case, his second family wasn’t a secret. If a polygamist is one who has more than one spouse, of either sex, the kids are not polygamists. They may be children of polygamists. But they themselves don’t become polygamists until they choose the lifestyle for themselves.

Not only did Robyn NOT get a job after she joined the family, she then required a NANNY TO WATCH HER KIDS DURING THE DAY, so she could perform her REAL JOB...behind the locked bedroom door with Kody doing..."NOT REJECTING KODY, AFFECTION WISE" like she claimed that some of the OG3 wives did.
And then PREGNANT Christine, who watched ALL of the kids, ALL DAY, had to work at night, after watching and teaching ALL of the other kids all day, and Kody wouldn't even check on them at night, while Christine was WORKING OUTSIDE THE HOME IN THE EVENING, AND PREGNANT because it wasn't "FAIR"! Right? I could have gone into another 15 lecture on how this was a lie! My husband and I are educators our whole life. Schools are DESPERATE for subs. And we work in wealthy districts that pay subs well and kids are pretty well behaved. Metropolitan school districts are really hurting, unfortunately. And for her to say she's living there while trying to find a sub job was just laughable.

Robyn’s bio father was married to Alice and then a plural wife a few years later. When Alice left, Robyn’s bio and the plural wife legally married.

I’ve been married forty years this year and I definitely don’t consider myself an ‘expert’ on marriage because every marriage is as different as the two individuals involved in it. I don’t know why my marriage has worked but my husband and I still see each other as the young folk we were, we haven’t grown old together, we just grew together, plus it helps that my husband is without doubt in my eyes at least a truly beautiful soul. I’m grateful every day, even on the days when yes, he annoys the life out of me😂. Be k8nd and don’t ever say anything to the person you love that you wouldn’t want said back to you!

The OG3 knew that Kody was spending ALL OF HIS TIME WITH ROBYN because they could just look out the window and see where he was! Busted!!
It's not just polygamy. Robyn acts like she is the expert on every subject. Robyn knows more about marriage in general, more about Kody, she knows how to better connect with the other wives' children, she is more knowledgeable about the other wives' marriages, she is a better communicator, knows how to raise teenagers before she had any, she knows more about jewelry and how to run a business, she knows what others are thinking better than they do so they don't need speak for themselves, etc, etc. Plus, she announces the decision/ solution to every situation and expects that everyone will just go along with her decision.
People who are insecure do this to keep themselves from appearing inadequate and to try to exert some control in their interactions. She has a superiority complex.
Narcissists *always* have to be #1 at everything, (or at least try to convince you they are). It's called 'grandiosity'.
