The great thing about Dan is he is just a normal, down to earth guy. He doesn't position himself as a guru. He just knows his stuff and explains it clearly

In November last year I was always tired with constant brain fog. Rather than add things to fix it I returned to the basics. I focused on going to bed early and getting proper sleep, exercise, removing junk food and alcohol. I felt incredible for the whole first part of 2024. However in the last month I’ve been slipping back into old habits. Time to re-up my commitment to the basics again so I can end the year as strong as I began.

Loved it Dan! Thank you! My notes from your video:
    Formula to success:
1- Show Up: pre-requisite to every success is to show up first.
2- Do the work: at the beginning, keep it simple. Avoid any outcome based mindset. Stick to the basics . Give yourself the permission to be a beginner.
3- Keep improving: even slight improvements - if you do it enough time - can eventually invoke the Power of Compounding.
How to trick myself to love doing the hard things :
1- Focus on one thing: what is the one thing that if I do it would have a great domino effect on my life?
Too many choices, Variables, results in anxiety! Simplify things and find the most important thing to work on.
2- Make it fun with low incentives: (once I found the one thing to focus on) then make it fun to make it less intimidating which in return makes it more likely to stick. Because the thing we do consistently is infinitely better than the thing we do optimally! To help this, create low stake incentives. What’s the worst/ best thing that can happen if I do the one thing!
3- Find positive role models: there is power in proximity. It can be in the form of mentor, coach, friends, communities or even some online dude (like you Dan 😄) who has done it and I can look up to and get inspired !
And … give myself time before seeing results…
    Keep it up Dan! 👊

Hey Dan, really enlightening video ❤
One suggestion: you can do away with the stock videos/movie clips. They add nothing, but cause distraction. 😊

Thank you, Dan. What you were processing in your 20s to get where you are today, I am too, in that phase. This was very helpful. I wonder where I will be a year from now.

Lacking purpose was huge back then. I needed a direction. My direction I chose was to help people.

Read it on the newsletter a few days ago, but watching this is useful to reinforce your advice and knowledge.
I know it's not related to this video, but I've been wanting to ask you: What do you think of calisthenics as a form of excercise? Have you tried it?

Come on, Dan. This "X% of you arent subscribed" CTA is so 2020, man. This is YT, not the LI or X mouth breathing boomer platforms.
