Dan, I'm so glad I found your channel... I am that 50ish demographic... I've had Sales & Marketing positions in many fields including a stint as a Web design & Internet marketing agency Sales Manager... At this age, I am literally 27 years in & a couple thousand books deep in the subjects of Psychology, the modalities of the Subconscious, Neuro Science, World Religions, Meta-Physics, the Universal Laws and many other areas...Human Mindset Performance is a passion & I have literally volumes of content & possible courses that could be developed... The biggest challenge that (I think) most people like me have is this: We are all told from early on to model the success of others and to model best practices... Great advice except that the majority of influencers have used these platforms & tools in a myriad of ways and all have developed their success through bespoke strategies... Some start with content platforms first like Linked In & Instagram & like you have created some great success... Other individuals ( like someone I am in communication with) have helped hundreds of people first & foremost, develop a marketable Course & Coaching structure to compliment it based on market demand, analytics & their value proposition to others... From there, many started migrating to written content based or video based strategies... I understand every passion & topic can be approached differently but from my position, I feel that I am looking for sequence...Such as: Based on this passion or focus and budget, You should 1) Start creating content on Instagram... 2) when Instagram hits "this level", keep it going & Launch a TH-cam Channel... 3) when you have developed a target # of followers on said platforms, Develop a Course & Coaching Curriculum...4) Write a book... 5) ETC... I only use these as a crude example... Your teaching is excellent but you can see my point... If You Dan were to ask me how to Find, Evaluate, Negotiate, Purchase & either Rent or Flip a piece of real-estate... I could give you 5 different strategies & step by step processes based on your knowledge, goals, time & financial capacity... I would teach you to do the easiest, most logical most effective thing first, giving you the most amount of momentum for the simplest & least amount of capacity you could come to the table with & scale up from there... Although the strategy might be customized to YOUR particulars, it would still follow succinct logical pattern or process that Strategically puts some tools, actions & intentions before others... When most of us are finally ready to create, we are looking at an ocean of evolving possibilities to put our toe in, not really knowing in our heart if it really is or could be the "BEST next step" to start helping people & gain launch pad momentum... Unfortunately, many of us cant distinguish the forest for the trees... At least for myself, I'm looking for something like a "5 step process" to take me from where I am now... to where I need to be by focusing my energy, attention & individual unique capacity on the most logical NEXT step or Vehicle... When that bucket is full, focus on this next logical one... & the next one... When putting a 500 piece puzzle together, the most valuable piece is always the NEXT perfect fitting piece you NEED... the rest are useless until they are needed... Anyway, I love your approach & it would seem I could be an excellent example for who you are trying to help. I would be very open to a conversation to explore if we might be a good fit... Hope to hear back... Thanks!

Dan thanks for this video; I am grateful I have found it as this is the approach that has driven me 60 of my 67 years I have been alive minus the technology and action with a roadmap which you have so graciously provided. Over 48 years ago I figured the value of my unique experience. Because i know it is valuable I put forth a massive effort to digitize and present what has proven to work for me as a solution to a problem I know everyone in a relation has. I wrote, recorded, and released a song on my #ipad and #iPhone and the wired buds that use to come with the #iPhone. And while my release has not performed very well in one twitter space I receive a comments from participants indicating they like it and two comments It sounds like something I heard before but he couldn’t remember and the other I don’t want you to ever use iPhone to do anything and recommended I buy inexpensive recording equipment ) I felt these were meant to drive me toward convention potentially interrupting my journey_ #SharingMyUniquePointOfView. I feel good because “IDidThatShit”.

It takes years to achieve mastery, but one never reaches it if they will keep procrastinating. So, I made a decision to change how to do that and now I'm in love with it. Dont kid yourself though. POSITIVE impact is a problem first approach and the solution comes as the answer to your meaningful problem.

@@LorettaBangBang@LorettaBangBang how you provide solution to the problem people you serve, which is how to earn money, must align with your set goal (whatever you consider it to be). For example, your desired lifestyle: having control over your time, working at your own pace, choosing your location, being able to work from anywhere in the world as a digital nomad, doing what you love, having financial freedom to contribute to charity and support causes you're passionate about, etc. In other words, the challenge is to ensure that the business you pursue aligns with your personal goals in order to lead a fulfilling life. Thanks Dan! This is great advice. I'm an artist, but I'm also trying to learn how to be a businessperson because my dream is financial independence. Interesting to navigate this world as a creative. I'm coming from a place where there were absolutely no business people around me, no examples to look up to, no one to teach me. This is a path I am having to carve out entirely for myself with only help from the internet and people like you who are willing to teach. So thanks! Means a lot.

There is deep resonance in me with what you speak about, and I'm working my way through the understanding of how to frame and "pack" everything of what I am into something that I can share with the world and educate from there.
It feels like every piece of content of these is like adding a little bit more of that trust that needs to break a certain threshold so that what wants to show itself can do it through the boundaries of what my ego builds as complexity. The kind of complexity that ends up being noise, and does not let the truth through.
The truth is simpler than simple, and they've been all pointing towards it since the dawn of time.

Great video but if you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life, Successful people don't become that way overnight. most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

God, to discover Terence with long walks...it's a priceless gift akin to having parents wise enough to put you in Montessori school as a child. I'm overjoyed to have been able to pass this to you.

I am 48 and have so much godamn experience in several areas , hence I can teach and have a desire to WRITE . I JUST NEED TO DO IT! I have been the one convincing myself that my breadth of knowledge is too broad, it may not be useful to the 18-35 year olds lol , blah, blah, blah. I have started an LLC and have pitched to teach on Skillshare and have attempted to start a TH-cam channel. Just need the confidence to carry it out. I am the CEO, worker one woman band of my business and my life. This has given me purpose! it has created a fire in me that was lacking as a W-2 robot employee.

Very interesting, it’s the first time I hear someone saying that you don’t have to be a specialist to become successful.
I feel very understood while watching this video, I have a big array of skills in the areas of arts, philosophy, photography and software development due to my love for the sole purpose of learning new things, because life is so short and that frightens me a bit.
I think this week is going to show me what I need to bring my one man business to a whole new level.

Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects cost of living. The fin market;s have underperformed the U. S. economy as fear of inflation hammers the prices of stock;s and bonds. My portfolio of $250k is down to $115k any recommendations to scale up my returns during this crash will be highly appreciated

I'm sure the idea of a coach might sound controversial, but new study by investopedia found that demand for portfolio-coaches sky-rocketed by over 41.8% since the pandemic, and based on firsthand encounter I can say for certain that it's a good idea, I've raised over 400k from an initially stagnant reserve of 150K, all within 14months

This is what I exactly needed and this video showed up out of nowhere in between videos about soccer and shooting videos. From July to October, I was doing a challenge recording a daily video for 100 days. The first videos really sucked and I talked about nothing. Then as I progressed I shared my progress and it was so satisfying to do. Skills I learned video recording, sound, recording, video editing, and speaking comfortably in front of the camera. Then the 100 days ended and I lost momentum, and I was searching for how to pick it up again, and from minute 12:08 of your until the end it became all clear again. Thank you Dan I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Peace!!

That’s impressive. Really. I should try that, then keep them private until my work improves. I’ve been working on learning Spanish by using an app for 20 minutes a day and I’ve managed to go 55 days in a row no matter how much other work I’m doing.
