It is a nice pedal. I remember they were getting up over $1000 for the first Chase Bliss version but now we can all afford this.

I really wanted a chase bliss version of the first one but only found out after the pre orders ended and they all ended up for crazy money. Luckily it looks like this one is going to be a permanent pedal I hope.

Wow at 10:18. You went straight into Terminator 2: Judgment Day territory. Epic sounds and another excellent demo, Yuki!

I have one on the way, but I'm actually highly sceptical.
Curiosity got the best of me, as I really wanted to give it a go due to its stereo and saturation options. Also the classic mode gives you a high- and low-pass filter, which is pretty cool.
But to be honest, I really dislike the wow/flutter/failure sounds... I feel like the effect is a bit too much "in your face" and too recognisable.
This is all judging by the demos of heard online, so we'll see in a couple of days :) If warped vinyl was stereo I'd buy that in a heartbeat though.

Its a cool pedal, I kind of wish they would have gave us a knob for wet/dry instead of the 3 way, but it still does a lot. I kind of like it after delays a reverbs sometimes.

i play guitar and i love this pedal. weirdly i actually like classic mode more. the wow and flutter are distinctly different in the two modes which is a plus for versatility. only flaw is you can't adjust the rate and depth for WOW independently. I emailed them about that asking if they could add that as a software update. crossing my fingers haha

Can you put into words why you like classic mode more?
I have one on the way and am somehow also drawn to classic mode, but would probably really miss the saturation of the mkII mode.

I shouldn't say one is better than the other because they're both a ton of tun. The saturation does sound great and the 12 different EQ models are a joy to cycle through.
but the WOW is less "angular" on classic mode. Feels more like random sine wave (classic) vs random square/triangle wave (mkii)@@rogier5591 .
Also, I'm a sucker for the bitcrusher. I love pokemon. You can get so many different sounds combining filters with bitcrusher, erasing harsh frequencies or completely changing the timbre. Cutting out the low end you can dial in a great AM radio sound
One note, the Flutter sounds better on mkii mode. You can set it to way higher values while still sounding musical.
I've had this pedal for 6 months now and it is one of my most used. It caters to the music I like to create and listen to. Lofi, jazz, psychadelic. Boards of Canada, Mac DeMarco.

So with the single I/O this uses TRS jacks? Always wondered how to identify which pedals work like this for those without dual in's & out's, as this would definitely be most convenient for my workflow!

Yes a trs jack. It’s hard to know, very few pedals that are stereo use this method for both in and out if they are stereo at all.

Yep! I always look for mention of stereo in and out, and then look at the photos and count the input and output holes. I have several pedals in a row like this one so I just use a stereo pedal patch cable between those.

@@Eli_B3000 awesome thanks to you both, and figured as much! Also, always farming for true &/or TRS-stereo pedal ID's so feel free to share your finds, E! 👀💨

Have you tried Chase Bliss’s free Gen Loss Ableton Live Max plugin with your pedal yet? I’m getting the pedal plus thier CB MIDIBox to make use of the plugin soon and would like to know what kind of results others have gotten from that specific configuration.

Thanks for Sharing. I too have a ZOIA, but plan on finally picking one up now that chase bliss has them in stock.
One question, is this pedal fully analog or digital?
