Pretty sure ya went through those models a bit quick but otherwise this is the video that helped me decide if I need this or not. Thanks for your service :)
Recorded part 2 today and you can REALLY hear the saturate knob better. It sounds so good. I’ve heard that some people are using it for mastering to add some warmth. 🤔
Just recently bought one, also my first Chase Bliss pedal and I have to echo 100% what you said. !00% premium build and workmanship, as is the sound as well. Easily worth the money, if this type of pedal is one's cup of tea. And in a way it actually is two pedals in one, as it has the MKI as well, in stereo (the panning wow is super nice).
Is the saturate knob your favorite overdrive pedal now? I love it. Dial in the amount of magnetic smeariness you want, then compensate for the jump in gain by backing off the volume knob. Just like a master volume!
Bought and sold this pedal in less than a month. I think this is cooler for synth/keyboard players. As a guitarist, how many songs/performances are you really gonna use an effect like this on? It's not really a one trick pony, but then again it is. You're just gonna have a shitty detuned, warbly lo-fi guitar sound that's only good for a few soundscapes, not really a star effect in a song. Unless you're literally Boards of Canada, I don't see this effect being a staple of many guitarists pedalboard. It was fun for a minute, but I feel like this is literally something pedal addicts like myself see and go "ooh shiny and new, I must have it" waste a bunch of money getting it, and then don't really do anything with it.
Yeah I totally get your point. I’ve heard of other people using it for mastering though because of the filters and the saturation. I also use it sometimes just as saturation or a level boost on my keys pedalboard. It definitely is a Swiss Army knife imo but not at first blush.
Looks like it it hard to tell what model you are on. They should have made the light blink when the model changes. Or made It a click so you could feel it.
If you’re going for accuracy then yes it can be a bit tricky. But I have a feeling they didn’t design it to be super accurate but instead more of a “by ear” sort of thing. Also if you want to be super precise you can always use midi.
You should do more demos - Super clear, no bs/indulging playing, no gushing 'this is my favorite'... Very refreshing
cheers for this, had the pedal for a while, read the manual, still helped me get a bit deeper into how it works
Glad I could be helpful!
Love this pedal on my bass. Sometimes I go with an octave up pedal before. Super fun.
Great demo.
Super excited to get mine. I'm in batch 2 and it's coming just after Christmas.
very useful, thank you !!!
Very clear, detailed explanation. Thank you!
No problem! Glad it was helpful!

Yeah I love it. Plus adding in all the advanced features makes it even better.
It will be a few months until I get mine. But, I am looking forward to using this with my Microcosm.
Great demo! Were you in the first batch? I'm in the second and hoping they ship a little early 🤞
Yup! I was towards the end of the first batch. It’s worth the wait! Hang in there!

Thanks! do I understand correctly that there is no mix/dry-wet knob (other than the switch)?
Correct!
Your loss is our gain
How does the bypass work?
That will be covered in part 2 when I go over all the customization features!
