*Magnificent.* It was like a witnessing a vast tumble across the depths of space not as an emptiness, but as an explosive landscape of immaculate cosmic forces clashing and swelling, rising and seceding, a furious tropical solar storm crashing at the beach head of galactic shores.
This is good stuff! I hear some Rush influences in there at times along with, as someone has already mentioned, some Dream Theater. I'll buy this one. 🙂 Good work fellas!
To outrun the first rays of the sun's light, you'd have to exceed the speed of light itself, which is impossible according to the laws of physics as we understand them. Light travels at approximately 299,792 kilometers per second (about 186,282 miles per second), and no object with mass can travel that fast. However, if you're imagining trying to "outrun" the first rays of the sun that ever existed in the universe, you'd have to consider that those photons have been traveling for billions of years. The sun is about 4.6 billion years old, and the first rays of its light would have long since passed beyond our solar system at light speed. Since the universe's expansion doesn't affect the speed of light in the same way as physical objects, there's no practical way to overtake those first rays, even theoretically. They’ve been moving away from us since they were first emitted-forever beyond our reach. Great album! Quite inspirational, keep up the amazing work.
What do you mean almost? :) I stopped everything I was doing....I was just searching for some music for deep work after dinner... this.. brought me a sense of togetherness and fullfilment :)
just discovered your music guys. Have to say I am totally blown away, every members playing is just stunning. I love the musicality you all share...rather than just mindless shred. On top of that, the production is glorious. Im a guitar player myself and the guitar sounds here are so well placed in the mix. And its so nice to really here the bass guitar and drums so well, both of which are stunningly well played and both sound awesome too. I cant say enough good things guys. Thank you for the music. Matt.
Oh my. This just made my day. Awesome balance between Light and Darkness, between Silence and Heaviness, Deepness and Void. The unisson of the instruments is mesmerizing. Find myself a new meditation album :)
@@OutrunTheSunlight I used to sing for a band which became "Ovid's Withering"; you can find some of their stuff on youtube. I'm listening to The Return of Inertia 2.0 right now and it's reminding me a lot of our old band. You guys rock!
@@OutrunTheSunlight Awesome! I left before it became Ovid's. I'm now playing lead guitar in my local church 😄. Anyways, thanks for the inspiration! Keep up the great work!
im sorry but a Band called "Outrun the Sunlight" and a album named "A vast field of silence" is gonna hit that "slowly getting pulled to the event horizon" feeling
Truth be told, this is the kind of thing that I imagine on my spaceship music player. It has the "yeah we are older and from far away vibe, just came here to rebuild this beautiful world"
some solid instrumental prog stuff wish i could hear this clearly without any pain or hearing loss but alas...kinda reminds me of umm serenity or moonrise? i forget the name from way back when.
You guys are from Chicago IL nice I'm from USA Northern Side Bay Area Gilroy San Francisco... I havnt herd of you before I been listening to Post Rock Dwells for maybe 6 7 years I love Metal this is amazing music here it's different just love sounds melodies so cool🤟✌️💯🎶🎵🎶❤️
Insane, an absolute phenomenal start as soon as you click the video that is so nice to hear. Rivals animal as leader albums. Consistent, though smooth rythm of rock. It is sad how your fame has outrun the sunlight, the sunlight it deserves.
How - how did this hook me and almost make me start crying from the FIRST - NOTE? God damn it, I love postrock so damn much. I love finding these channels and albums hiding away in TH-cam recommended playlists. I love the expressiveness and power and emotion and the magic. I'm saving this album right away. I was looking for music to write to, but this album will just take me away, I'll have to save this for a road trip or a long walk. Thank you for making and sharing such incredible music. (For anyone wanting recommendations, this album reminded me of my reaction to Distant Dream's "It All Starts With Pieces," another postrock album that means a lot to me)
youve been my favorite band of all time for a few years now and i dont think anyone can top you guys. i love plini sithu aye intervals widek etc but you guys got something so powerfull words cannot discribe the emotions your music provokes withen us. i could see your music being used for dramatic game trailers

It would be hard to outrun the sun when it is moving earth along with it at 550,000 miles an hour. G-force Baby!
