It's another hot day here in Australia so I turned this into an iced tea. I added a small amount of coconut blossom sugar and then poured the cooled tea in to a glass 1/2 full of ice then added the lemon juice plus fresh mint leaves on top! :)

Looks delicious! 2 things I'd do differently: add in lemon juice once the brew has had time to cool a bit, sprinkle with a touch of cayenne! 😊🔥🍋

Thanks so much for the recipe and I just made it tonight! I had a very sudden and severe stomachache at work due to gas. Had to take off two hours to rest in the clinic, take pain killers, and tums. Felt a bit better to drive home but bloating came back twice as bad. Just drank the tea and finally got rid of the bloating. Thanks so much and I will definitely share the recipe!

Can I just add that when using turmeric, adding a pinch of black pepper helps your body absorb it more effectively. Something I learned recently. These ingredients are also great for easing PMS cramps & inflammation. Nice video, thanks for sharing 😊

if want to have it in raw form...then just julienne cut ginger and/or tumeric and soak them in lemon juice, add pinch of salt. keep this in a container with lid. you will notice change of color like if its just ginger in lemon it will turn pink and its ready to eat. can use it for salad dressing or with bread etc. you can refrigerate it and store for long.

Super, I'm trying to connect more. Thank you for all you done. I've been a vegetarian since I was 18.but I ate dairy products. I have a new girl friend. We are vegan and I want to make this tea for her. I went to Colorado for Thankgiving, my two brothers ate TURKEY, I ate salad and a bunch of fruit. My sister in-law said I need protein. So I made nut milk. 3kinds of nuts. I had the milk 1 year ago and I took it and mucus was all over. No more nut milk.

Great recipe with so many health benefits thank you Rawvana, can't wait to try it! I noticed you are using a nonstick pot, just a tip... they are very toxic with high levels of acid lead. try using a good stainless steal pot or a ceramic green pot, they are way healthier to heat liquids or foods.

Brothers Green referred me this way with their most recent video (at the time of this post, it was about 5 hours ago). It turns out the first recipes I found for Rawvana were for these anti-bloating, flatulence fighting teas. These alone made the channel subscription worth it. The food recipes were secondary (but a pretty huge secondary if you ask me, especially the raw oreo cookie recipes. :) ).

If you use powdered cinnamon, I would not use more then 1/2 to 1 teaspoon. Try that if you want more then add it. Some people like more, Some people like less. Always go with what taste good to you.

Awesome stuff!! I learned of this tea when sick with a upper respiratory infection. It totally helps loosen mucus and relaxes the body to help it rest. It's so super healing. Try it with Chai, and/or Mint Tea for extra digestion helps, with or without lemon, depending on your taste. Also tastes great cold! Great video, and I will be grating my ginger now as I see this is a better way than using sliced ginger. Thanks. :)

I would try it early in the morning, if you have the time to do it, if not then anytime is fine.

I'm going to guess that before or after meals and especially to wind down and soothe the gut at night while it does it's thing. Or when you instinctually feel you need it! :)

Do you add a dash of pepper to boost the turmeric effects?

fkovacs1 If you are using the turmeric root then you do not need to use black pepper to absorb the curcumin from the turmeric. But if you are using turmeric powder, you have to add black pepper to absorb the curcumin from the turmeric.
