My Moms “French Coffee Cake” earned three A’s | True Story!!

- French (Italian German) Coffee Cake:
3 soft sticks butter
1 1/2c sugar
Blend and scrape down
Add 5 eggs, one at a time
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pint sour cream (1 cup)
Blend.
Add:
3 c flour
2 tsps baking powder
1 tsps baking soda
1/2t salt
Don’t over mix.
Grease a Bundt pan well.
Pour 1/2 mixture into pan.
Spread:
1/2c tiny semi sweet choc chips
Mix together:
1/2c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Spread 3/4 cinnamon sugar mixture over middle of cake (filling)
Add rest of batter and gently cover filling. Top with rest of sugar cinnamon.
Bake 350
35 to 40 min. Till toothpick is just about clean. I always like a few crumbs sticking to it🤗

He is just adorable,and cinnamon coffee cake is my favorite that looks absolutely delicious,I usually buy those little Debbie coffee cakes but I think this will be 10 times better can't wait to try.God Bless ❤

We love to go to Lancaster Pennsylvania’s famous Amish country.
One year, at the local market “Roots” ( ’m sure you’ve visited) there was a little boy - he was not Amish, beside him was a box and a sign that read “puppies for sale“ . The box had a bunch of cute puppies in it. He wasn’t having much luck.
A while later we again passed by and the little boy was almost sold out of his puppies.We also noticed that he had changed the wording on the sign to “Amish puppies for sale”.😊🤣

Oh my... this cake looks so good, and I love the story that goes with the cake. I wonder if it could be called an Aussie cake as well?! I was a little puzzled with a stick of butter as here in Australia they are not sold in sticks! I did a little investigation on the internet and found out that a stick of butter is half a cup or 113 grams. Darlene, could you substitute the butter for cooking oil in this recipe?

Hi Lisa🤗. Only Brownie is ours. Nala belongs to my son Joey and his family. We were doggie sitting. But yes, Brownie has her own room upstairs and on the main floor. Spoiled rotten. But, she’s an excellent guard dog and always lets us know when someone is here. She’s a keeper. Hope you’re doing well.

I love to make pound cakes. My Mom was a wonderful cook, but a horrible baker. She got sick, and I went and got her and brought her to my home. I set out butter, and eggs to come to room temp, and told her after supper, I am making a Pound Cake. She said I wouldn't hit a sick dog in the butt with an old dry pound cake. Well, I got it all blended together, put it in the oven and it had to bake an hour and a half, waited about 15 minutes, turned it out. She said can you cut it now, I said it will still be pretty hot, but sure. She ate about one fourth of the cake by 10 PM! I sure miss that precious soul. I made the pound cake with Carnation Milk that evening. So easy, rich and delicious. Love your channel.

Hi, that cake looks so good that I screenshot your recipe and I have to give it a try! That was a cute story and pretty clever for only being in the ninth grade. Before I forget, I have to ask you where you got that attachment that goes on the bowl of your mixer? I don’t think I’ve seen it 🤔 I love that you can make the cake in a Bundt pan because I have a few of them and I love baking in them.
