SIMPLE SUPPERS: | They will beg you for this One Pot Chicken Dish recipe!!

- Amish Supper-In-A-Dish
-2cooked chicken breasts
Or 1 pound hamburger
-1-2 potatoes sliced thin
-1/2 bag frozen veggies (peas, carrots, corn etc)
1/4c chopped onion
-Salt/pepper
-1 can cream of mushroom or chicken
-1/4c milk
2/3c grated Cheddar Cheese
-whipped cream cheese
-In greased dish, layer potatoes, meat, onion, veggies,salt and pepper.
Combine soup and milk. Pour over casserole. Dot with whipped cream cheese on top.
Bake 350 for one hour. You can melt a bit more cheese now. Just take it out at 1 he and sprinkle a bit more on. Return to oven for 5 min.
I didn’t do this. It’s fine the way I do it.

Hi Darlene, this recipe looked so delicious, and there are videos like this where I wished we were able to smell the food as it is cooking!
I thought the potato slicer/cheese grater looked a real nifty gadget, and a real time saver for sure.
I have heard of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but have never tried them and if I can be completely honest, I don't think I would like to have that combination together. We don't eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in Australia. Darlene, can I please ask is jelly the same as jam, because jelly here is what you would call jello in the US?! I always get confused with the different names of food between our two countries.

Me and my hubby jus had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches the other night.

Great Susan. I can’t to make healthier chips. Try using olive oil or coconut oil. Those are healthier then vegetable or canola or corn oils.
I need to make the as healthy as possible also.. jus had knee surgery and doctor wants me on high protein diet .. ugh .. I will be 60 in May .. this recovery has been slow
