*UPDATE* after speaking with Eventuri it is not necessary to oil the filters! I’ve cleaned them again and did not oil them and they are working just fine.
I ordered a second filter, so there's no need to wait. I contacted Eventuri during my purchase, and they confirmed that the new filters are dry, so no oil is needed for proper functioning. Moreover, this is better for the airflow meter, which won't be at risk of damage anymore. For now, I'm using a blower; no cleaning agents are necessary as they don't get too dirty when regularly cleaned.
Please note the direction of airflow for your filter!! He sprayed the dirt into the filter from outside in. That filter is opposite in flow from ordinary cone filters.
I swore I read that the new cleaning kits don't have the oil anymore and recommend no oiling now. And I would've thought spraying from the inside out would be better?
You took the words right out of my mouth. No oil is to be used anymore and I would personally spray from the inside of the housing out so you're not trying to push the dirt through the filter but back in the direction it came from. Thanks for the video though 👏🏿

You’ve misunderstood the inside and the outside of your air filter, the outside of your air filter is where the air comes to and the dirt builds up on the inside is where the air passes to your carburetor and has no direct dirt deposits on it. You were cleaning What you said was from the inside out. You were actually doing it from the outside in.

You are correct

Valid point. I might have forgotten to mention that in the video

Inside out embeds the dirt in the fibers since it can’t get through the filter

They’ve said you can use some oil. Since the video I’ve cleaned them again and didn’t use oil.
Great video! I'll keep this saved for when I get my F90 🤞🏾

Hi, Not sure if I'm missing something here but I can't find the link to the cleaning and oil products you used on this video?

Are k&n filter and oil cleaner ok? We don’t have these products in asia and shipping fee is almost triple the price for shipping alone crazy?
Yea it should do the same thing
Why would you spray outside in? Isn’t that pushing the dirt into the filter?
Sprayed both. It was a mistake. Haven’t had any issues with the filter. Mentioned it in the video I’m pretty sure
Where is the link on the item?
For the kit I used or the intakes themselves
What is “ogul”?
I have no idea what you are talking about….
@@DrivesAlot I figured you meant to say “oil” by the end of the video
@tashlijan 😅 I didn’t even catch that 🤦🏾♂️

Okay gotcha. I’ll update my pinned comment. I thought I mentioned it in the video that I made a mistake 🤦🏾♂️
I thought those filters were dry filters
Nope!
@@DrivesAlot They are dry according to Eventuri's website...
😳😳😳😳😳 I’m have to look that when I get home 🤦🏾♂️
@@Cernunn0s90 they sell a clean and oil kit
I spoke with Eventuri. They can be used with or without oil
Replace the filters, don't wash!! If you had metal filters, then it's okay to wash!
They weren’t terribly dirty and they worked just fine after.
Lotta lotta bad info here. Water from outside filter pointing down. DONT oil it
Clearly…said that in the comments and in the video
You have totally misunderstood the outside and inside of your air filter, please update your video and stop handing out bad information
How so?
I just blow them through with air
I tried to do that. It wasn’t really working to get anything out
@@DrivesAlot I can understand that.
I think mine were just really dirty
That’s the worst thing you can do
Don’t follow this 😢
Pretty sure I said don’t do certain things in the video….
