I always liked green olives the best.

In the USA Black olives, though labeled as “ripe” actually aren't. They are green olives that have been cured in an alkaline solution, and then treated with oxygen and an iron compound that turns their skins black.

Question? Is chickpea safe to eat if soaked overnight and then boiled in pressure cooker?

Hi Jay! If your recipe calls for beans, potatoes, or tomatoes, the best way to prep them is in the pressure cooker. A pressure cooker won’t get rid of all the lectins, but it may help significantly reduce the lectins in your food. You can find our comprehensive list of Lectin-Free foods approved by Dr. Gundry here: bit.ly/353B0iF. Thank you!
