      @user-jy7js7tu9y What I'm saying is that if you're a doctor giving out nutritional advice and have lived to over 100 years old, then you have more credibility over someone who's a doctor and 40 years old. We have doctors on TH-cam who have been saying that the carnivore diet is healthier when they haven't even tried it in the long term.

    Dr. Scharffenberg Reminds me of my Grand father, His looks 95% , personality 100% . My grand father passed away at age 112 years. the same day I went for a walk with my grand father, he had no sickness at all. His discipline was in his simple natural diet, Including Lamb meat, fish, chicken, and fruits and vegetables and a lots of dairy products including Raw milk and daily dose of 1/4 pound a full stick of butter. and lots of physical exercise. I have been following my grand father's discipline so far and I plan on living much longer than 112 years of age. God Willing.

Lots of science. This doc is one in a million. Lots of people die younger even if they follow his plan. One thing for sure is his positive mindset, he laughs and smiles. Im sorry to hear that. A friend of mine with ms became convinced that carnivore diet could cure or greatly help her condition. I tried to convince her that she needed to stay vegan. She went ahead anyway, and much to my shock, in a matter of a month had reduced her symptoms by 80%, and is still improving. I didn't know what to say to her. It seems crazy, but i wont deny what ive seen. An open mind is important to have, we all have our biases. Please look into this. My understanding is that ms is functionally an autoimmune disease. Curiously, all autoimmune disease disappears when plants are eliminated. I cant abide this method, but her overall health has been transforming in an astonishing way. Her face radiates health. Im tempted.

    Working as a GP myself I take off my hat for this man, his attitude, his clear words, his speech and his charisma!
    I give information like that everyday to my patients (in 10 minutes;)) and I know they understand. But at least here in GER, where health insurance is mandatory for everyone it seems like people have given away the responsibility for their lives because they "pay insurance" to cover an unhealthy lifestyle.
    Giving an example: after a newly diagnosed Diabetes they listen to the, by me, recommended lifestyle changes that could prevent a lot of the upcoming consequential damages. Then I'd guess about 50% of the patients are willing to change their lifestyle, while the other 50% from the beginning on want pills and continue as usual - because they see the responsibilty for their health somewhere "outsourced" in a monthly paid insurance. Of the 50% initially trying to change their nutritional habits, about 30-40% fail after the first 1-2 years.
    Only around 10% (and that's an optimistic guess!) really stick to lifestyle changes, and even with initially tremendously bad laboratory results they manage to get along with no, or very very little pharmacological aid (at least in the case of Diabetes).
    Don't get me wrong, regarding my own lifestyle I'm surely no saint, but for ethical reasons I haven't eaten meat or fish the last 25 years, living vegan about 8 years now (not fully strict, especially when I'm invited, but I don't buy any animal products).
    Less of everything surely would save us alot of our "luxury" diseases.

      True, as you have to get rid of the male "bobby calves" that are of no use to the dairy industry and cost money and space eating the grass or grain at the feed lots. Female only. As well as the cows have to go to the abattoir after their milk production goes down again to help with logistics and profits. Again why all the male chicks in the egg industry get dispatched soon after birth( have you seen those horrendous machines they grind them up alive in?) as they don't produce eggs. And they aren't suitable for meat production like the broiler chickens bred for their size, and quick growth. So yes you can't have a productive dairy industry etc, without a meat industry. This is how all farms are run in the western world.

    • @carinaekstrom1
      @carinaekstrom1 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @marcusoshea6081How would that work? How are you going to keep milk flowing without new calfs and what are you going to do with all those extra female and male calfs? Keep them and feed them until they overflow the environment? I guess that's what actually happened because nowadays they are being eaten in India, or sent off to be eaten in other countries. And making hens lay hundreds of eggs per year instead of the natural 5-10 is also mistreatment.

    I just love seeing someone born in the 1920s who still has so much energy! I’m old enough to remember when this demographic was 75-80, so for them to be 95-100 is kinda mind blowing. 1923 still going strong!💯

    When he was talking about sugar and triglycerides he brought up ice cream. Ice cream usually has quite a bit of saturated fat. It seems a lot of people confuse simple table sugar with desserts. It adds more confusion to the masses.

    My grandmother died just a month shy of her 98th birthday and she ate small amounts of meat, candy and ice cream. She didn't smoke or drink, and did little exercise outside of walking in her yard looking at flowers. She did eat beans, collard greens and cornbread often similar to the long lived people of Costa Rica.

    Keys to longevity include maintaining a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, regular exercise, avoiding smoking, and limiting alcohol intake. Other factors include managing stress, getting adequate sleep, staying socially connected, and maintaining a sense of purpose. Practicing mindfulness, staying mentally active, and regular health check-ups also contribute to a longer, healthier life.
