    Olive oil and lemon with cayenne pepper and honey-mix and drink. Twice a day before meals. Drink water. Eat two good meals a day. Fruits, veggies and lean meats with added red meats. Salmon twice a week -sleep 6-7 hours a day. Exercise at least 20-45 minutes a day. Weight training for muscle growth; watch comedy shows and attend church on Sunday. Volunteer and help someone eat better and live longer with a healthy lifestyle. Spread the gospel, too.

      No honey..soorry, a bee piss..sugar is sugar in the end..olive oil s 10x better..no fruits necessary, they spike up blood sugar insulin has to bring it down..over the yrs even fruits high in sugar can make you insulin resistant..literally no need for fruits..Red meats and eggs, salmon is great too but only wild caught. 90 % us sales in US are farm raised, pumped up full of antibiotics, horrible.....skip all the carbs, don't eat anything made of flour..drink water and sleep at least 8 hrs every nite..ZERO alcohol too, in the end itl cause a dementia, alcohol will..

    0:30: 🥦 Olive oil is incredibly high in polyphenols, which are key for promoting mitochondrial health.
    3:51: 🥦 Olive oil has multiple health benefits and is associated with improved memory and longevity.
    6:51: 🥗 Olive oil has a low smoke point but is not bad for cooking, and should be poured on food instead of just used for cooking.
    10:18: 🌿 A good quality olive oil should be stored in a dark colored bottle away from sunlight, and it should be first cold press and extra virgin.
    13:57: 🌿 Olive oil should be consumed within a few months of opening, and it is beneficial for health due to its high polyphenol content.

    I have been taking olive oil (2 tablespoons in the evening) for two weeks now. I am skeptical of trying stuff like this, but I figured what could be the harm. What amazed me is the benefits were evident on the very first night. My heart rate during sleep dropped 10 bpm the first night, and that effect has persisted since. My diabetes is under better control (CGM shows that the glucose spikes have significantly diminished) and I am beginning to see improvement in the brain fog that has plagued me since COVID.

      Eating 1-2 teaspoons of iodized salt and increasing iodine intake with liquid iodine drops in your drinks and over your thyroid will stop the brain fog and will increase cellular and lung function too. Sodium runs the heart and lungs with iodine needed by every cell. 1000 mg or more of fish oil per day will help your thinking too. Also cod liver oil which has more nutrients.

    I live in the the south of Italy, over 25 years, and I cook with EVO daily. My olive oil never smokes, ever. I cook on a gas stove with a very low flame to brown my garlic (aglio)and peperoncini (red pepper). I’m now almost exclusively using EVO from the province of Bari in Puglia. That area provides the harsh dry conditions to produce high polyphenols with that peppery spicy after taste. I buy it by the case usually and sometimes go to the olive orchards for a nice outing in October and November when they are harvesting it. But, it is easily found in our supermarkets too.

Nevertheless, I live in Quebec and my grocer delivers the most amazing vegetables on a weekly basis... Fresh Sunkist oranges.... I squeeze 2 everyday... I love fresh fruit... and as for my cuisine everything has to be fresh ... fresh veggies and fruit... no meat! Only chicken from a special farm... "grain - fed chicken". which I prepare chicken broth with 7 fresh vegetables.... this healthy broth simmers for 2 hours and then I serve it with pastina,,,, sprinkled with Romano cheese and ladle this delicious flavoured consommé. - I have the most beautiful complexion.... people always ask me what are the cosmetics that I use { My complexion is flawless! }. My response I nourish myself with homemade fresh chicken consommé prepared with 7 vegetables! Pepper squash, sweet potato, onions and garlic and celery and a bunch of fresh parsley!Leeks.... carrots! The best advice I can give is to look on the back of the bottle to see what province in Italy, “BA” is Bari in Puglia. I'm confused, Dr. Gundry stated that in the Predimed Trial that the participants had cardiovascular disease (2:47 mark) but when I did my own research here's what I found: The sample size of the PREDIMED trial was approximately 7,447 individuals, as reported in the New England Journal of Medicine. The participants did not have pre-existing cardiovascular disease at the beginning of the trial, as the study aimed to assess the effects of a Mediterranean diet supplemented with extra-virgin olive oil or nuts on the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in individuals at high cardiovascular risk. I have had two widow maker heart attacks so the accuracy of this information is important to me. I hope someone responds to this inquiry as I would really like to find out which is true, thanks.

    • @tonymars1093
      @tonymars1093 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes olive oil does oxidize. Once it is opened the oxidation process begins. It has about a two month shelf life after it is opened. As Dr Gundry stated keep it in a dark place like a cabinet and not on the counter. It will last longer. Do not buy the economy sized bottles so you can finish it within 2 months. I recommend buying his own brand from his website and using it to take a shot of every day (it has about 30 times the polyphenols as other types and then buy the best you can find for cooking based on his recommendations in this video. If you can afford to buy just his then do that but it is expensive. Worth it but expensive.

      which brand of olive oil do YOU use❔

    • @AppenzellerX
      @AppenzellerX ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CYndibabI I 'm from Germany and use a Greek EVO from Kreta that I bought in a German super market. The brand is Chania Kritis G.G.A. But I think the brand does not matter. It is crucial that it is pure native extra vergine olive oil and the container is protected from light. In my experience the best olive oil comes from Greece, though . For health benefits, you should use at least tow table spoons olive oil daily, but not much more because of the calories (824 kcal/100 ml).

    In the description: "To get the most out of olive oil, it should be stored in a dark, cool place and used sparingly." Sparingly? I thought the idea was to get as much EVOO into your mouth as possible.

      It is! There will be differing opinions everywhere. When doing research you cannot go to many, many sources to get your information. Determine the best sources and stick with them. Conflicting information comes from sources with agendas. One thing I can say is Dr. Gundry is a researcher and reviews many studies. He also is devoted to providing the best information out there that is always backed up by his 25 years of practice as a world renowned cardiothoracic surgeon and by clinical research. He is a source I trust.

    Why looking for smaller bottles 🤓....?
    I don't bring it to liter a week... but a bottle for 2 persons.
    I think that's fast enough for not getting rancid?

    Will my cholesterol goes up if I drink evoo every day? Is it safe to take it every day?

      Carbs will raise your cholesterol. I eat about 210 grams of carbs a day, 80 grams of which are fiber.
