I was a die-hard HD rider my whole life. I bought into the whole Harley-thing for most of my life. I finally got to a point in my life where pulling the trigger on the ultimate HD wasn't a problem - a brand-spankin' new '16 CVO Road Glide Ultra (FLTRUSE). $42,000 with all the options I got like removable tour pack, low-profile CVO Street Glide seats, etc. The bike was constantly breaking down for one thing or another. To Harley's credit, everything was always covered by the warranty - but my bike would be in the shop for about 6 weeks at a pop each time. Add to that, the fact that the motor felt tired and worn out after only 68k miles. I ride year-round, and do motorcycle camping all over the US. I wound up breaking down on a road trip to Glacier, and had to take a bus back home, and then pay to have my bike shipped back home after it was fixed at a HD dealership in Idaho. I was done. I got rid of it, bought a new Goldwing, and now, 59k miles later, haven't had a single issue with my new bike. There are two major things HD needs to fix: long-term reliability, and the exorbitant cost of these bikes. My fully loaded Goldwing cost $12-15k LESS than a comparably equipped HD touring bike. And I gotta admit, it handles as good as a sportbike. HD touring bikes can't remotely touch the ride and handling of the new Goldwings. I regret having bashed Goldwings for so many years. I'll never go back to HD now. Not so much as a blown fuse has happened on my Goldwing. Just tires, oil, brake pads, and gas. That's it. Sorry if this offends all the company boys.
I bought my Suzuki dl1000 back in 2007, living in Canada I can only ride about 6-7 months a year. It now has just under 90000 miles not KM on it and all I've ever put in it is Gas , oil and brakes , tires and one burnt head light and turn signal bulb. In 17 years I cant complain of the quality.
My Cavalcade’s stator broke down near Asheville North Carolina. 12 hours from home, late Saturday night... not happy! On Sunday morning went to a nearby Autozone and bought a car battery, some wire and road home with the car battery in one of my saddle bags and the wires running outside the bike to the now dead battery. Unhooked every light I could, once I got home I ordered and then replaced the stator! Happens to the best of us. My daughter was on that trip with me. We talk about that trip all the time! Making memories! Randy
No, it was a 30 year old Suzuki Cavalcade GV1400 with 100,000 miles on it! Other than standard maintenance the only time it ever broke down on me! My current GL1800 has 108,000 miles on it and has never broke down on me! Both extremely dependable bikes!
Takes megabux to keep a Harley on the road. Many moons ago (70's & 80's)I was a mechanic at Durham NC Harley dealership. The only Harley I ever owned was given to me by the owner of this business. I've owned more Hondas than anything else..Common sense has been my credo, I value reliability.
I was hoping for a two up shot on that BMW with Rich holding on for dear life as Chris drove them home on those dirt roads. PS You guys give us positive vibes every week.
I ride a 2015 Limited myself. I rode by myself from N.C. To Oklahoma for the Guinness World Record Ride. My wife was a little concerned so before I left she bought me a Halo brand battery pack that will jump start, charge phones, light, and has a air compressor for filling tires. I love it and is the easiest way I have ever checked the air pressure on the bike. Safe travels!!!
Since 1972 when I bought my first bike (at 30) and until I retired my two-wheel life four years ago (Age 72) I put more miles on two wheels than on four. Our second 'car' was my motorcycle. I love watching you two with your two-wheels-are-enough attitudes because it takes me back to my heyday. Two-wheel memories are my favorites by far.
As a Goldwing rider, I have personally pulled a bunkhouse from NC to WY without issue. But don't let people fool you any bike, including the Goldwing can, and will break down from time to time. If you like your Harley and are comfortable pulling the Bunkhouse, more power to you. Ride on brother. My wife and I enjoy watching your adventures.
I have both , and a battery is not a biggy , but the load tester system can be bought on Amazon and does your entire charging system , as well as a jumper they take up very little room
Should have titled the video "Stator the union" My wife and I have been married 32 years next month, and we also both ride, though not as long as you folks. 10 years riding this year. Love the videos and your positive vibe. Anyone can weather good times, but it's the challenges which pull you together. Peace and Love. Chris and Janette Ontario Canada
I am on my third stator. When you use more juice with heated gear or trailers, you need a higher rated one than the original stock one. I haven’t had any more trouble since upgrading to one that is capable of handling higher loads.
This is real life right here. It's not always rainbows and unicorns. Sucks that you broke down but as you know, that's not an "if" but a "when". I love the way that you two handled it and kept a smile on your face. I really enjoy your videos and hope this is the last of your problems.
You two absolutely rock. My folks travel but, in a fifth wheel camper and a luxury pickup truck. They have their own troubles but nothing like people on motorcycles do. It’s nice to see couples who work at it. It’s refreshing.
It was time for a haircut buddy,,,,,sure looks a lot better. Great video!!! Maybe time for a motorcycle upgrade,,( love my Harley) and anything mechanical will break down. At least you had your wonderful wife as company.
When my stator went out (at Daytona Bike week one year (!)) I was advised to replace the rotor as well because if the rotor is bad it will continue to eat stators - they had the case open and that was the time to do it. That was maybe 6 -7 years ago? Haven't had a problem with the stator on my Harley Electra Glide since since.....not sure if that applies for you or helps but there you go! Love your content, stay safe Rich and Chris (I'm also Rich and my wife is Chris!)!
Rich don't feel bad those batteries go bad without warning. Mine went south out of the blue 400 feet away from a Napa store while on a trip. It was 11 years old so bound to happen. In the end it was just fine. FYI in the over 100 bikes I have owned the only one that never let's me down is my Goldwings. I do like the fact you don't stick to only paved roads and don't focus on the bikes but the ride and adventure parts. You rock.
So glad you both bought the camper trailer verses the time it took to set up the tent you were doing! ALSO break downs with Harley verses wife's normal services or break downs with her BMW! REALLY HAVE TO GIVE WIFE THE MOST TOTAL RESPECT IN HER RIDING AND PATIENCE DURING EVERYTHING shd is YOUR GOD SENT SAVIOR FROM GOD! KEEP RIDING AND LIVING, Loving, enjoying your lives!
I've put ten's of thousands of miles on different bikes. Harley's, Kawi's, Honda's. Doesn't matter what name is on them, they all can and will break. Ride what you like! Stay safe! Love the videos. P.S., If you have to change the stator again (hope not), upgrade to the Screemin Eagle stator. Higher output and seems to be much more reliable.
No I ride to have been from age 14 to now I'm 69 years old, Never give it up. It's like being hooked on something. I love the sound of a HARLEY. Or any kind of bike. I'm not making fun. like you you tube Ch to. Keep them coming. I want a trailer like yours love it.
I knew there was a reason I liked your channel. There you are out on motorcycles where every bit of weight counts and you still use the cast iron skillet.
It doesn't matter what you ride.....it will, eventually, break down. The fact that you have a great attitude, both on and off the bike, is what keeps you sane...... :)
I think you picked the right place to break down. You could have been truly in the middle of nowhere, with no cell service, no shade, no ability to read positive comments. Yup, you picked an excellent spot. Two thumbs up to you guys. Enjoyed watching and thanks for sharing. BTW, something I do when trying to start a bike when battery is low. I disconnect the headlight (on my F4i it's easy to access the back of the bulb to unplug) so that they are not draining the battery when I turn the key on. Yes, I'm aware that the start button on most motorcycles disconnects the headlights so that all power is directed to the starter, but the that is only while the start button is depressed. Just some food for thought.
One answer for towing a trailer, Goldwing. I have different bikes and the Goldwing is the only bike I would trust towing a trailer year around. Love your show.
So much to say, ha! Never had a problem with my Harleys and I rode the wheels off. Geico is the only motorcycle ins. to have they were amazing when my Roadking was stolen in Canada in 2003. I was 7,000 miles into a 9,000 mile trip had to ride home to AZ on the back of a 1959 Panhead with no backrest. Haha, good attitude is key! Chris rocks that BMW! Love your journey! Thank you for sharing.
I had a breakdown on the Natchez Trace. I limped in to the Meriwether Lewis monument. While there waiting for a flatbed I I met a lot of very nice folks, many offered assistance. I enjoyed my time there due to its uplifting people. As it turned out I could continue no further on my bike at one of the few points on the Trace a truck could access, without interaction with the Park Service,. The truck had access because of a nearby state highway so he wasn’t on the Trace. . The rally I attending was great fun. You are right, it’s all in your attitude, and every part part of the ride is an adventure.
you might want to check out the NOCO lithium jump starters that you can get on amazon. come in handy for motorcycles when traveling alone or any vehicle really, when ur battery is dead.
I appreciate the calmness with which you deal with adversity. I think the video when you got trapped in the snowstorm is an even better example. My Goldwing has been in the shop for 3 weeks trying to fix my grips not heating. By the time I get it back, I won't want them heated...
Back in 2002 I purchased a 2001 Road Glide. It was a rental and it had 2500 miles on it. I put about 500 of those miles on it. I rented many different models of Harley's and decided on the Road Glide. On the very first group road trip, we left San Bernardino CA heading toward the Laughlin NV. I had the same problem. The stator went out. Luckily my father was driving a chase vehicle. Long story short..... We got a trailer from a friend and trailered it to Laughlin. The next morning I got up early and headed to Kingman and Mother Road Harley Davidson. Told them we were on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. They got me in and had a new stator and battery installed in about 3 hours. I got to finish the trip. I enjoy watching your videos. Makes me think about getting another Harley. Keep up the good work. Tom
Do not worry, my first bike was a Honda and broke down twice (both electrical problems) and had a leaking between cylinder and head with the effect of water in the oil. After that I owned two BMW´s without problems and ride now a 2013 fat bob. My Fat Bob needed since only inspection and rear bearings (at about 40,000 miles). After (precautionary) mounting two different after market batteries (shido LIFEPO and nitro hvt) with two brake down in cold weather in only 18 months now an original Harley battery is back in the bike :-).
Great Video. You mentioned the word Moonshine near end of video. Did you mean Moonshine, Illinois???. Been there many times. Subscribed to your channel today. Keep up the great work.
I really love your videos. To bad your Harley had a problem. To avoid breaking down on the road, if you have battery problems, always check if you have almost 14 volt when the motor is running. If not, it is a loading problem and not a battery problem.
#1, when you recognize a problem, head directly for the nearest dealer ASAP. Been there, done that had 2 stators go bad, made it to the dealership or home both times before the bike died. Lost a water pump on my RoadGlide. #2. Richard needs to spend his rainy days in the campground studying on troubleshooting and repair of his motorcycle. At the very least, a "How to repair your Harley" CD and keep it with you to refer to. Changing a stator roadside or in a campground is totally doable if you can round up just a couple tools that wouldn't be in your tool roll anyway.
Richard don’t lose heart.. I’ve ridden quite a bit around the states and always managed to get my bike fixed ok. I live in zambia and did a very extensive trip last year on my BMW and my friend on his Harley around Southern Africa. We both had problems but you be amazed at the people out there that helped us..I just wish I had the time to do more trips..Keep it up..Cheers
My Harley did the same thing to me 20 miles from closest town. All u can do is laugh and like 10 minutes later a cool dude picked me up took me into town got a battery...just a short delay. Glad they took care of you👍
As a current Harley owner, and a previous owner of other brands, there will always be repair challenges on any of them. The one redeeming thing about working on a Harley, it is easy-er to work on than others I have owned in the past. Something to be said for simple designs. Now you have another good story to share - "Remember that time when we broke down in a ghost town .."
Still enjoying your camper, bet you are too. Give Rich some love.....not a chance. Going to keep busting Rich's chops over that Harley. lol. Ride what you want, its all good. If I told you to ride such and such a bike, it would probably break down the next day. I love my bike as you do and have all the confidence in the world in it to go trouble free for years. Breakdowns on the road tend to amp up anxiety and worry real fast because of logistics to get things looked at and fixed. Glad you got it all worked out.
I can't get enough of you two awesome kids. You have inspired me to find my own camper. I found a 1966 Apache Chief that I'm going to restore. Much love and respect for you guys. Keep up the great adventures...educational and beautiful places I would love to see myself. I hope to meet you one day. Keep on keep'n on !!
I ride a Honda goldwing, and I wouldn’t have anything different. But there isn’t a thing wrong with a Harley Davidson, ride what Ever you want, but let me say if you need a battery always go with a OEM replacement. Best of luck rich
Hey Robert - You're right. F6B here pushing 70K miles - x'd N. America a few times. Heading to Alaska this summer - if the crazy Canucks open up the border. Point is - for long distance - extreme long distances - day in and day out - a GW is definitely the bike to use. Nothing wrong with an HD - ride whatever works for ya is my sentiments as well.
Never get angry at the bike, it hurts like heck when ya kick it, punch it, but it is always easier to just cuss at it. Harley's can be great bikes, I ride a Honda Goldwing GL1800 and spent 103,000 miles of breakdown free service. My Harley never went that far, but then it was really old.
My charging system failed this May on my 01 Electraglide. It took 6 hours for the truck to pick up my stranded bike. I did the replacement myself with the Cycle Electic kit. Harley no longer sells the factory stator or voltage regulator so it was the whole kit and kaboodle. Other than being stranded 200 hundred miles from I can't complain too much, the bike has been solid for me since I bought it 12 years ago.
I would have liked to have known you folks a few years back. I'm 71 and been riding since I was 16. In the 70's I rode a Honda , (if memory serves me right), 1977 400 4, from Reno, Nevada to to Oceanside, California then took I-10 to Florida, picked oranges for the winter at a feuit camp where I stayed, then left in spring. I then rode to Loudon, New Hampshire where I sold the bike. I have had a Bonneville 650, a Honda 1800 VTX (small gas tank, other wise a super bike) then my last bike was an Ultra Classic Harley I bought brand new. I made two trips to Florida from Stowe, Vermont area, 3 trips from Vermont to Cincinatti, Ohio and numerous trips from Vermont to New Hampshire. I would have loved to have lived like you folks, full timing. I now am retired and live in Tampa area (Thonotosassa Florida) in an RV resort full time in a 25 ft travel trailer. I am a disabled Vietnam era vet and receive a VA disability check every month, medical doesn't cost me anything. Open heart surgery and triple by-pass in 2012 never cost me one cent . I can't ride anymore, but will live vicariously through your travels. Thank you both.
I realized the reason why I like your vlogs. You are riding together and not on your own. There are other channels with solo riders. Riding in a group is much better and sharing the experiences of everyday riding. Cheers.
Ride what you want to ride! I've never owned a HOG, but I do admire the camaraderie they engender. That being said ALL of my metric bikes through years have been trouble free. My Big Dogs, not so much, but they have created the most pleasant conversations with people.
Love the haircut Richard, literally just said I wish he would get a hair cut even though tough Harley riders have long hair. Lol. We love your channel. Thanks for showing us your meals etc.
Your TH-cam site is awesome , me and the wife love watching your videos, we love your positive out look ,even in the worst of times“ rain, snow, freezing temperatures and of course Harley break downs 👍”. One little simple tool I carry in my Harley break down survival bag is a pair of jumper cables, not the car/truck type just a small cable set. My stator failed me in Grand Canyon state park on a Sunday morning, bike battery dead 💀 so I charged my battery off my wife’s Tri Glide and hopped skipped my bike back to Williams Arizona at 15-20 mile recharging steps. It took a few hours to get back to camp. Just thought I would pass this information on to you guys. Looking forward to your next video, ride safe my friends.
Love your hat! Deadwood South Dakota was a really neat town! I also had a close call on my bike in the middle of nowhere when my bike wouldn't start! What happened! When I shut it off I must of bumped the kill switch just enough where it looked like it was in the on position! I moved alittle bit and wouldn't you know it started! It is a sinking feeling!
Glad you didn't have trailer with you. And glad you broke down where you did. You had shade from the sun. Imagine if that happened somewhere no shade from the sun? Ouch! Great Job Harley Davidson of Tucson Arizona!
Lucky you. I had to change my stator my self during chemo and rad tx for throat cancer in my garage. Took me 3 days to break the 150 ft lb torque stator bolt off in order to change the stator. Love your channel. 1999 eglide classic.
I can never get enough of watching your adventures. I would love to travel by bike like you guys are doing, but probably never will. So I'll keep watching your channel. Stay safe...
That's what I thought. My dog and I were watching YT and I said to her, "we are gonna do that!" I bought a GoldWing and had a custom TSC sidecar built just for her and we are working up to the long distance stuff. I'll be 72 in Oct. Would 2-up with the right lady, otherwise my pooch and I will manage just fine.
Glad to see your all fixed up. I put a Cycle Electric stator and regulator on mine and couldnt be happier. I hope they checked/Tightened your trans shift lever while they had it apart, much easier to tighten when the primary is off.
The adventures of motorcycle traveling, My brand new 2014 FLHTK broke down with 400-miles on the odometer 8- mile from my destination. Harley of Ocala Fl did the same thing 2- hours in the service department i was back on the road.. Glade you are fixed and back to your adventure, If you ever come through Dallas (Flower Mound) sure would like to meet and buy lunch...Dan
Reminds me of when my wife and I lost a wheel bearing on our boat trailer while driving across the Everglades. Hung out for hours waiting for a tow truck out of Miami. You have to cultivate a serene attitude. It's all part of the adventure.
Thanks goodness for those tow truck guys (and the HD riders ongoing support lol) I hate to say but ..... she’s right about getting a new BMW as the imported brands rarely leave people stranded. ( her previous bike kept going even with all the issues they found out during the PM service) I hope things are going well now. Be good, be safe and keep the rubber side down.
So about 10 days ago, I stumbled across your videos and now am all caught up and waiting for more great quality videos. Unfortunately you broke down but in my eyes ride what you want but just ride. By the way, I’m on a goldwing😜
Glad it all worked out. Your Harley had a breakdown day. Ms. Alice has taken you for miles and miles and miles without incident. Don't be too disappointed in her. She is a good bike. She was just tired. Love your channel
Love You guys, Thanks for your videos and taking the time to bring them to us. My wife (Shirley) and I ride about 30,000 miles a year all over the USA. We have spent numerous evenings watching your videos and getting a few pointers from you all. Keep smiling love ya Rick and Shirley
Love your adventures, planing some of my own. Harleys really sound fantastic but they shake themselves apart I've had honda since 1965 never had a breakdown, now riding honda gl1500 goldwing highly recommend one for what your doing!
Awesome living the dream... hair cuts look good by the way... every bike will have a issue once and a while... it’s part of the adventure... safe travels and looking forward to seeing next video.👍
I've been there before with my 2017 Chieftain down in Ozona TX down off the 10 heading to Fredericksburg for the weekend. It happens brother, no matter what bike you ride. It comes with the lifestyle. 👍🏽😎🇺🇸 Stay safe

For the die hard Harley lovers who stand behind their brand...Would you fly across the ocean in a plane built by Harley?

When you're broke down & the lady you chose sits by you laughing with you is priceless. The other option is cry! I love your show ; )
Awesome thanks Al.
As you don't mind the breakdowns everyone else's opinions don't matter. Buy and ride what you like period!!
True That john
Any motorcycle can break down. It’s not IF, it’s WHEN. Great content!
Or can get a tire puncture - carry a mini air pump and tire plugging kit with you.
I was hoping for a two up shot on that BMW with Rich holding on for dear life as Chris drove them home on those dirt roads. PS You guys give us positive vibes every week.

You can’t beat the HD network of dealerships. And they all will step up to help a traveler. Glad it worked out for you Rich. Chris, you are the best!
You can only get that type of service from Harley! There are more Harley shops then any other motorcycle manufacturers. Keep on riding!
That's because they need more shops for all the junk they sold
According to Google, there are 977 Honda dealers and a little over 700 Harley dealers.
@@patrickdecambra2219 I guess Honda needs more shops for the junk they sold!
@@davewilson8308 Hondas don't often breakdown so I would say they have enough shops

Might be time for some LED bulbs. Reduce your charging load especially with the trailer adding more electrical load.
Love your attitude in all this. Some people take years to learn that the only thing you can control is....your attitude!
Pair of jumper cables would have been handy. Or a small jump pack. Just might have made it back to camp and then have it picked up there.

I knew there was a reason I liked your channel. There you are out on motorcycles where every bit of weight counts and you still use the cast iron skillet.
True That
It doesn't matter what you ride.....it will, eventually, break down. The fact that you have a great attitude, both on and off the bike, is what keeps you sane...... :)
Oh no...time for a Goldwing...😬...or maybe not...I happen to own both and can't part with the Harley either...
Once you have one that fits, it’s hard to give it up so easy.
You like what you ride, it's all good. They should have charged the battery before load testing it.
Glad you had a "good" experience getting her fixed. You two are an inspiration to my wife and I who also enjoy the riding life. Cheers!
I appreciate the calmness with which you deal with adversity. I think the video when you got trapped in the snowstorm is an even better example.
My Goldwing has been in the shop for 3 weeks trying to fix my grips not heating. By the time I get it back, I won't want them heated...
Sorry about the Goldwing.
I loved this episode the way y'all sat on that porch and talk to us, that would not have happened had your bike not have broken down.
Tom
Thanks Tom.
I too love my Harley, 120000 miles. Sure I had a few issues but stay the course. Love your video’s and the places you two have been. Keep going...
Yes those LiPos don’t like the cold.
Liking the adventures no big deal when a bike breaks down .
Great Video. You mentioned the word Moonshine near end of video. Did you mean Moonshine, Illinois???. Been there many times. Subscribed to your channel today. Keep up the great work.
As a positive I remind myself the "adventure" starts when something goes wrong! Glad you're safe and one the road again.
Yes it is. Honda got smart early and went to an alternator. Just like cars have. They no longer have that issue.
I really love your videos. To bad your Harley had a problem.
To avoid breaking down on the road, if you have battery problems, always check if you have almost 14 volt when the motor is running. If not, it is a loading problem and not a battery problem.
What an adventure. Getting stuck in a ghosttown. But I enjoyed it's all. Great scenery again. Hope the bikes will endure the torture.😎👍
My buddy's Goldwing breaks down too. Haha
This channel is blowing up!! Safe travels.
Thanks Brian - appreciate it.
I figured it was the stator that took a dump. A weak battery wouldn't cause your bike to stall like that.
Looks like a bad Stator year Tramp mine was shot last week battery quit charging, just received new CE stator from J&P.
My Harley did the same thing to me 20 miles from closest town. All u can do is laugh and like 10 minutes later a cool dude picked me up took me into town got a battery...just a short delay. Glad they took care of you👍
Those metal sculptures are absolutely amazing!
Already watching your 2nd TH-cam adventure...your like a good book I don't wanna put down!! 👊RESPECT 👊
Thanks. Steve
So true and we recorded it.
Thanks Ross. What fun to restore an old camper - best of luck and let us know how it turns out.
@@TwoWheelsBigLife .... will do. I plan on recording the restoration so all can see.
I ride a Honda goldwing, and I wouldn’t have anything different. But there isn’t a thing wrong with a Harley Davidson, ride what
Ever you want, but let me say if you need a battery always go with a OEM replacement.
@@ironhorsetelevision2094 ,several cross Canada trips on my 1200 BMW . No issues.
It’s does hurt when you kick em
Biker cuts his hair. Bike will no longer start. Coincidence? I think not!
Wow I didn't think of that. Maybe I'm Samson 🤣🤣
Do yourself a favor and get a Goldwing or a Yamaha Star series cruiser.
Had to rewind and listen again. I thought for a second you liked the towels because they drive fast. :D
Good to see the HD dealerships getting the riders back on the road and moving :-)
For sure. They did great.
One of the biggest reasons for buying a HD is that there are Dealers everywhere.
Thanks Bruce - sounds like you have some great memories. Age and time does tend to slow us down some. Thank you for your service! Much love!
I realized the reason why I like your vlogs. You are riding together and not on your own. There are other channels with solo riders. Riding in a group is much better and sharing the experiences of everyday riding. Cheers.
Riding with your spouse is different than group riding. Two's company, three's a crowd.
You guys are amazing... it's all part of the journey... stay blessed...
Thanks Robert
Write a song, Rich... I've Got The Broken Harley Blues.
That’s funny
Ride what you want to ride! I've never owned a HOG, but I do admire the camaraderie they engender. That being said ALL of my metric bikes through years have been trouble free. My Big Dogs, not so much, but they have created the most pleasant conversations with people.
Thanks
Thanks Ron. Will have to look into a small set of jumper cables.
I would like to know what cell service you use when traveling?
I can never get enough of watching your adventures. I would love to travel by bike like you guys are doing, but probably never will. So I'll keep watching your channel. Stay safe...
That's what I thought. My dog and I were watching YT and I said to her, "we are gonna do that!" I bought a GoldWing and had a custom TSC sidecar built just for her and we are working up to the long distance stuff. I'll be 72 in Oct. Would 2-up with the right lady, otherwise my pooch and I will manage just fine.
Richard's first positive thought of the problem. "I'm positive my bike is messed up!" That was a long 90 mins.
You got that right, Steve! 90 minutes turned into several hours. That's the problem of breaking down wayyyyy out in the middle of nowhere.
( her previous bike kept going even with all the issues they found out during the PM service)
I hope things are going well now.
I`m glad the dealer took care of you and got you back going again. Now about that Goldwing....
BUY A GOLDWING...WONT HAVE THAT PROBLEM...IMO...STAY SAFE HAVE FUN💯💯💯
The people on here that say all bikes break down have never owned a Goldwing!
Stater went out on me on a long ride , ended up useing jumper cables that a co rider had , relied on them jumpers the whole trip 😎
👍👍
The chrome looks good sitting on the road shoulder.......
I enjoy your journeys and I enjoy your relationship. Thanks for all that you share. Keep on going. I look forward to your trips
Still enjoying your journey. ❤️
I appreciate that!
Love your adventures, planing some of my own. Harleys really sound fantastic but they shake themselves apart I've had honda since 1965 never had a breakdown, now riding honda gl1500 goldwing highly recommend one for what your doing!
Same here. Never broke down with my Honda. I love my 97 Goldwing!
Man, a 3 hr wait had to feel like a lifetime out there. Glad you got her back quickly. Take care you guys. Be safe. 👊😎
Awesome living the dream... hair cuts look good by the way... every bike will have a issue once and a while... it’s part of the adventure... safe travels and looking forward to seeing next video.👍
Thanks
These things happen it's part of the joy of motorcycle ownership and love of the feel of freedom 😁 love your adventures .
Lookin GQ Richard! Love the channel. Your positivity is contagious!
At least these guys washed it!
Glad you're back on the road.
I've been there before with my 2017 Chieftain down in Ozona TX down off the 10 heading to Fredericksburg for the weekend. It happens brother, no matter what bike you ride. It comes with the lifestyle. 👍🏽😎🇺🇸 Stay safe
