Changing The Bulb In Your Cayman's Side Marker Light The Right Way (Plus Removal And Reinstallation)

While researching how to change out the bulb and/or marker light on my Cayman, I came across multiple videos showing the WRONG way to do it. Here's the right way.

I like your way of doing it. The Porsche recommended way is the Owners manual. I have also seen some crazy TH-cam’s where they pulled off the entire taillight assembly to replace the a brake bulb. That one is also is in the Owners manual and require no tools and takes 5-10 minutes.

Two fingers, push them in, then curl them round a bit and apply a little pressure.

How do I pull it apart after I take out the bulb? It’s got a crack on it which allows water in and I want to pull the marker light apart after taking out the light bulb to clean the dirt that got inside from the small crack
