  • In this video, I will show how to replace the Bi-Xenon Headlight bulb on a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S. If you don’t have a lot of automotive tools, then you’re in luck. The only tool you need is provided to you, by Porsche, in your car tool kit which makes this the perfect DIY car project for any skill level. Since I will have the headlight assembly out of the car, I will also show how to replace the rubber headlight gasket that goes around the headlight as it is prone to deteriorate over time.

Did you figure out what the problem is?

Nope. The bulb started working and has been working without issue so no clue why it went out and then decided it wanted to work again. I have decided so long as it wants to work I will leave it alone and focus on other problems.

@@thediygrunt thanks so much for your reply. I took the new bulb out, but I will try to replace it again and see if it starts working. Hopefully it’s a simple as that.

@@thediygrunt Possibly the wiring harness not quite seating and then solving itself. I've seen these to be quite fickle. I like your next video where you explain getting it to properly seat itself. I'll be using that technique going forward. Kudos
