🚘 The Mercury Comet we cover on this channel is the same as a Ford Maverick.
📆 The years 1970 - 1977 will all be based on same information for the most part.
🧰 The DIY videos and How To videos would help you with these years but also relate and cross over to many other hotrod projects or restoration builds.
📩 Let us know if you have any questions or need help building your race car, drag car or hotrod.
🎨 We also cover a lot of painting videos along with body work and the salvage title industry when buying, selling, or owning salvage rebuilt total loss vehicles.

Wow!! Definitely not for the faint of heart or mind. Take lots of pictures so you can remember how things go back together if you are doing this job by yourself. Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome
This video is extremely helpful. For anyone with this model car knows its Hard to find step by step videos for pretty much anything thanks for taking the time out to make this video
You’re very welcome
Always better working on a vehicle, with another like-minded, knowledgeable person.
Absolutely
Appreciate the video brother, I got the manual but still needs a visual aid to change my ac actuators 👍🏻
You’re welcome! I’m the same way that’s why I do these videos lol
I've noticed that some of the videos I've been watching lately does not really show the real struggles I'm taking something apart they taking it apart and then kind of put it back together a little bit then make a video thank you for doing it the way you're doing it my friend
You’re welcome. I like to make relatable content that people understand and can duplicate
I just did the same job on a 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium. It looks like the Taurus is a better trade off, you have to remove the intake and fuel injection airbox plus the seats, on the Fusion you have to remove the front doors to take out the 2 long bolts for the dash. Good job on keeping the airbag connector on the column intact without breaking it. Good advice on the clock spring as well. Fun times taking apart the HVAC box, Fusion was similar. Great video on the whole job, its definitely involved and not for the faint of heart. I hope to never do another one in a Fusion again ! In AZ the Ford dealer quoted me $3500 to do the job, not sure what an independent shop would charge !
Man it’s crazy that all the extra stuff was needed for you. And wow $3500 that’s high. That’s why I did this video to hopefully help others out and save them that large repair bill. Thanks a ton for watching.
I have done a lot off evaporators . Remove dash and console drop steering column., ford 6.9 hrs to do lol have fun
Yea wasn’t that bad
Good job bro
Thanks
Four down and 65 AC system is my thought
🫡
Pay you to do that job and cabin filter for sure 😂
lol yea it sucked
It's amazing how much is packed into the dash area.
Yea it’s ridiculous
Wow, thanks for the video!
You’re welcome thanks for watching
The more I watch these videos, the happier I am that I chose bikes. 😂. Ya all work to hard.
Funny thing is, I'm going to build myself a lowrider bagger knowing how easy that will be compared to building my 49 Chevy. So yes sir, I concur.
😂 hey just luck of the draw sometimes on flip cars
Need explain like i fixit 😂
You can do it!
Nobody is doing all that dude, that doesn’t have mechanics skills or knowledge come on that’s to much. Damn!! You heard!!!
Ok thanks
Pretty basic stuff especially with it all laid out step by step for you but hey to each their own I guess.
