Yes, PulseTech’s Xtreme Charge 12V Battery Maintenance Charge Desulfator works on deep cycle batteries. In fact, it works on all 12-Volt lead-acid batteries - VRLA, AGM or flooded!
How do you not sell in retail stores? How have you not put Schumacher and Battery Tender in the trash heap of time. Your products withstand water, heat, freezing conditions, being dropped, you can't screw up a battery if you tried and there's nothing in my extensive career and head to head testing like it. The others are hype and yours does and goes above and beyond. Best wishes for growth and success, -RBP, ATG Repair
Yes from what I have been told it works on ALL batteries. My friend has one and swears by it as the best charger ever.He a great mechanic. I am about to buy one.
Michael H it is the best if there's a speck of life it will capitalize and amaze, if it's just sulfated solid or short a cell or 3...that's beyond a charger. It's so perfect and durable there isn't anything I could tell them to improve on except the price...its a great price but cheaper is always better, if it were 50 bucks I'd have twice as many lol it's that great!
Hello, To clarify, this unit will work only with a 120-volt power supply. It has a NEMA 5-15P (two-pole with ground pin) North American connector. Pulsetech
A few questions please! I've had this charger now for a few years, and it's brought back batteries all that time wonderfully, with some taking a full day or more to become fully 100% charged. Now, my question is, how to use this on six volt deep cycle batteries in my newly acquired motorhome? Can you charge two at a time...to make 12 Volts, or will this not work? Our batteries are 3 years old, and seem to be working well, but I'm unsure if they are charging to a full 100%, thus the thought of using this charger to do so! They are lead/acid batteries, 235 AH six volts, and I have four of them. I do have a residential fridge in our coach, so I do have to use my generator a fair bit to keep the batteries up, but as mentioned, once in the 'float' cycle, I'm unsure of if they are getting to 100%. After that, the coaches charging system obviously takes over once plugged into 120V.
Using the XC-100 on two batteries at a time is permissible once bulk charged by the 48 volt charger is done to shorten the time that the XC-100 has to charge the batteries to attain 100% charge.
Yes, this applies to the SC-6 as well. Both the SC-6 and Xtreme Charge chargers continually pulse the battery regardless of state of charge unless the Bad Battery or No Connection LED is lit. The more pulsing the battery sees, the better for the battery.
The Xtreme Charge is an intelligent charger that monitors both the voltage and amperage of the battery while it charges to insure it will not be over charged. We are releasing a new version of the XC100 called the XC400. It’s everything you loved about the XC100 but the new unit has more power (new unit is 4 amps vs 2.5 amps with the XC100). The new XC400 will be live on our website soon and the price will be $119.95 each. No safety issues just an upgrade.
No no it's not working well it killed my 1 year old battery was 557 cca and it should be 800 cca charged it with this charger desulphator for 24 hour it shows green 100% but checked with cca tester it showed 199 cca it killed my battery 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 Not good damn it
We are so sorry to hear you have had some troubles. Please contact Rick Gregory at 800-580-7554 extension 154. Rick will be happy to discuss what you are experiencing and come up with a solution so that you will have great success using the Xtreme Charge. Regards PulseTech Products Company
There’s no way this charger killed your battery,it must have had a defective cell etc that let go when deep charged. I own 3 of the Pulsetech x100 2.5amp chargers & 1 new x400 4 amp charger that I use on my 5 classic motorcycles & on my classic 60’s muscle car too and have never had any of them come close overcharging any of the batteries. I‘lv’e been wrenching & restoring classic motorcycles & cars for over 50yrs so have a good solid mechanical/electrical background to stand on with respect to my above statement on these Pulsetech battery chargers/desulfators. Every so often I chk battery electrolyte lvl’s of batteries in can get the caps out of & these chargers have never overcharged & or dried out any of the batteries requiring adding distilled water on the 6 vehicles I use them on. The batteries I use these chargers on are either maint free flooded lead acid batteries or AGM motorcycle batteries. 2 of my bikes have original oem yuasa AGM batteries in them still doing well, one is in my 2012 Yami roadstar 1700cc v-twin mfg’d in 2011 so the battery in that bike is mfg’d in 2011) is now 12yrs old & the other bike is a 2016 Kawi Vulcan 900cc v-twin with a yuasa AGM thats now 7yrs old going well too. Both batteries are maintained by the Pulsetech battery charger/desulfators, the2.5amp charger/desulfator is on the yami & the Kawi had the 2,5 amp charger on it in the past but now has the newer 4amp Pulsetech charger/desulfator on it. Again,I keep a close eye the charging voltage, water lvl where possible using these Pulsetech chargers on my batteries & they do a great job not damaging any of the 6 batteries iv’e been using the Pulsetech charger/desufators on due to overcharging for many yrs now. Happy motoring!

When will XC400 be available on amazon?
We anticipate the XC400 being available on Amazon before the end of 2022. It is currently available on our website, www.pulsetech.net.
Does this aplies to the sc6 recovery charger? If the batteru stays conecyed even when is on green will this continue pulsing?
Yes, this applies to the SC-6 as well. Both the SC-6 and Xtreme Charge chargers continually pulse the battery regardless of state of charge unless the Bad Battery or No Connection LED is lit. The more pulsing the battery sees, the better for the battery.
