      What brand and model is your pulse battery charger, there are so many Chinese knock offs to choose from.

    At the start of the video , the cell that you said was a dead cell , was the first cell next to the negative terminal . Then later in the video when you said , ' it seems to have recovered that cell ' that was the first cell next to the positive terminal

    I haven't needed a pulse charger myself, I've restored the batteries by charging them with a low current for a couple of three days...and it really works well.

    you should have done it this way : 1. regular charge . 2. test charge . 3. recovery charge . 4.test charge . compare the two . last thing . you checked the wrong "dead cell" you held opposite direction .

    ...revived batteries can be used for light duty tasks (fact) most of the people who dislike products like this is jealous!!
    because they spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on name brand chargers that get almost the same results as a cheaper tool ;
    i have a different one than this and it works great: )

      @@donmarkon if battery is completely dead do you charge it before doing the pulse charge or go straight to pulse repair charge

    The start of the video when you are testing is wrong.
    1st, like you did, but you start from the Positive side. 1 on the stud and one in the electrolyte.
    2nd, from there, the negative prob you are putting in the hole is the cell you are testing. Put the positive in the 1st hole and the negative in the 2nd hole to test the 2nd cell.
    For a good battery all should be around V2.1+surface charge
    3rd, Positive in 2nd hole, negative in 3rd and so on. You end with the negative in the 6th hole.
    Trying to test the negative stud and the positive in the hole will result in a few milivolts.
    *The average of all 6 cells at the start of the video was ~0.9-1.2 volts.

    From an another German video, on every step of pulse repair charging the capacity of the battery is getting more and more. You should this repeat more than an half dozen times to get more than 90% of the capacity.

    Hi Donmarkon! :)
    Do you have any updates on how this test performed, if you were able to revive the battery & crank the car?
    I have the exact same battery & charger as you did here, so I'd love any tips you're able to provide me to help restore it's life.

      i revived a working 5 years old YUASA battery from my motorbike.
      It was 12,3 volts it didnt have any problem to crank but i used a similar pulse charger in repair mode.
      I did the pulse repair for 3-4 times - i drained the battery each time under 12 volts with another pulse repair gadget that is not connected to ac just to the battery i think you know what i am talking about.
      All the proccedure lasted around 10 days.
      The battery went up to 12,8 volts 6 months ago and now is already 5,5 years old and working perfect and voltage remains 12,6-12,7.
      I agree with the guy that this charger does what expensive chargers wont do.

      Working good, i did test it out with few other lead acid batteries and it did good job to recover them
      Overall for the price of this everyone should have one

      In the beginning of the video he says the cell on the far left is dead but after the repair he tested the cell at the opposite end and claimed that one was the dead one. Shaking my head....... 😂😂😂

      @@MeyotchTV I probably made mistake because test was happening with days passed. Eather way all cells are tested and working and that is important

    Is he just promoting China product and then said he cannot test for cranking.

    • @donmarkon
      @donmarkon  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I didnt have a car to test it at that moment
      Cranking capacity needs to be tested i agree
      This battery from the video i'm using for a small solar setup, it has around 250-350Wh of capacity
      I have big parkside battery charger and this cheap one is usually my first choice. It is small portable and it can start charging car battery with low voltage cell with recovery function
      I saved one AGM battery which i purchased from friend for nearly nothing. It was less than a year old but his car had battery drain and drained battery to 0v
      That battery is recovered with this charger and since then in my mothers diesel peugeot working without any problem
