I once got cut off on Cambois rocks in the dark, didn't realise how dangerous it was. Tide came in behind me and didn't notice until other anglers nearby were leaving and alerted me of the danger. I had to jump across big gaps of water, which were like little stepping stone rock islands to safety. Fell over a couple of times on slippery surface's and could have quite easily banged my head and passed out. I learned a valuable lesson that day. I never fished there in the daylight so was ill-prepared for understanding the terrain and tide at night. I went alone which was a bad move and nearly paid the ultimate price.
