Great watching as always, shame about the 5tangled line definitely looked like a codling biting, Lovely part of the world Northumberland. I've fished that mark and only ever had fish from the end casting between one and two o clock, caution has to be observed though the swells roll up the rock. Well done as always tight lines
Thanks John I’ve caught at this spot a few times but in warmer weather. You’re right about being cautious if going onto the end, it can be lethal in rougher weather and best avoided if it’s not flat 👍🎣🐟
Hi Danielle us anglers got to take good and the bad when it comes with fishing. Night fishing is so tranquil problems and worries drift away with the sea good luck on your next fishing adventure. Take care.
“It’s that time of the year “ how many times have I told myself that? But at least you’ve given it a go. You can’t catch a fish if you’re sitting on your sofa. Look forward to your next outing. ❤🐟
Good Morning Dannielle , another good video love the content shame about the blank but its called fishing not catching , you may consider getting a pair of boots with studs in for the wet rocks they seam to help , so till the next time please take care & stay safe
Sitting here willing you a bite. Done all you can there, they're obviously just playing funny buggers haha. Still an enjoyable watch. Roll on the lure fishing. Tight lines fishing 🎣 😊
Thank you for sharing your session in the dark with us. We fisherfolk are optimists. It wouldn't be fun if fish were guaranteed :-) It's so good to get out and have a bait in the water.
Well done, a good effort there. Pleased to hear about your upcoming plans, they sound great & I'm looking forward to hearing how you get on. Keep ahad Hinny..
Any fishing clubs in your area? Might be better setting up like a scratching rig to start off and see if the are some fish around. Smaller double hook rig. Enjoy the videos and Tight Lines!
Yeh there’s a few around here 👍 I would usually fish two rods, one lighter as you suggest, but night time on the rocks I prefer just the one so I can concentrate more easily 👍🎣🐟
I have never fished at Northumberland but I would definitely going to try it next winter for the codlins. I ve been cold it's a very snaggy mark though 😂
You should give it a go, it can be very productive. There are plenty of marks to choose from, some are tackle hungry but other not too bad - especially some of the beaches 👍
@fishinghinny will defo give it a go with your guidance. Me and my brother fish together so hopefully next winter we will try to fish there. Its a long drive from Bradford lol
Good effort gal, nothing worse than a snaggy spot, we used to use old spark plugs for weights and a rotten bottom 😂😂, keep trying, nobody catches anything at home 👍🏼🎣
Thanks Jim Yeh it is a great spot, one of many along that section. I like the walk up to Dunstanburgh Castle from here too taking in Craster on the way 👍🎣🐟
Know the mark well, it can be very tackle hungry. The area is one of great beauty and can produce some excellent fishing, going to try the area later this year ... fly fishing.
Learning by experance well done.Nearly March now only mainly small stuff till May-June or even later. But one Never knows there may be a monster lurking near about to catch.thanks lol
You are a good fisher, noticed your reels are fixed spool, maybe try a multi plier, you’ll probably get another 20 or 40 metres on your cast, I got half a day casting tuition and it worked’ a lot less rigs lost and more fish. Keep the vids going, entertaining 😀
Give ya your dues for perseverance lass even the greatest fishers struggle some time but thats fishing for ya stay safe and tight lines unless its a slack line bite
Thanks Colin Yeh, I should have made some rotten bottom rigs, I’ve made some previously but I’m usually ok at this venue. I think the swell was dragging me into snags on this occasion 🤷🏻♀️👍🎣🐟
Soon to be moving to Cumbria but it looks like my rods and I will be spending a bit of fishing time in Northumberland ,keep up the great videos.
Thanks David
You’ll not be too far away, it’s certainly worth the drive over 👍🎣🐟

Thanks Tony
Yeh it’s very special being near the sea on a night time, it’s like looking out into a different world 👍🎣🐟
Enjoying you videos . Get yourself a bell for the rod ,Its sods law when you look away to do something you miss the bites.
I did think about getting one but, I’d just keep forgetting to remove it and would annoy myself every time with the noise it made when winding in
😆🔔🎣🐟

Thanks Chris
Yeh, I’d rather be out and not catching, than stuck in the house 😊👍🎣🐟
Really excellent 👏👏👏
🤩
Good Morning Dannielle , another good video love the content shame about the blank but its called fishing not catching , you may consider getting a pair of boots with studs in for the wet rocks they seam to help , so till the next time please take care & stay safe
Thanks Steve
Yeh, studs would come in very handy for those nights when the rocks are slippy, I’ll keep an eye out for something suitable 👍🎣🐟
I don’t mind a blank now and then dannielle it’s always nice just to be out there
Thanks 🙏 yeh always enjoyable even without any fish 🎣 🐟
Sitting here willing you a bite. Done all you can there, they're obviously just playing funny buggers haha. Still an enjoyable watch. Roll on the lure fishing. Tight lines fishing 🎣 😊

Thanks Paul
Your right, if we caught every time it wouldn’t be as exciting 😊
Well done, a good effort there. Pleased to hear about your upcoming plans, they sound great & I'm looking forward to hearing how you get on. Keep ahad Hinny..
Thanks Ash 😊
I hope you are well

Thanks Pete
Yeh, roll on spring and hopefully some better fishing
Always good to get out fishing Danielle..fish or no fish, thanks for the vid lass.
Thanks Hugh 🙏
It is always good to get out, as much as possible 😊
You are so easy to watch , no faffing about , might have been a blank session, but very good video 🎣👍
Thanks Brian 🙏👍🎣🐟
Good effort gal, nothing worse than a snaggy spot, we used to use old spark plugs for weights and a rotten bottom 😂😂, keep trying, nobody catches anything at home 👍🏼🎣
Thanks Steve
It’s not normally as bad at that spot, I think the big swells kept dragging me into snags🥺
One day Hinny , one day and then the big one 🦈🦈
Haha thanks Mick, yeh, I’ll catch a good’un this year for sure 🤩
Fished there myself without much luck but it’s a beautiful spot. A fish is a bonus.
Thanks Jim
Yeh it is a great spot, one of many along that section. I like the walk up to Dunstanburgh Castle from here too taking in Craster on the way 👍🎣🐟
The missus normally does that walk while I'm fishing.
Know the mark well, it can be very tackle hungry. The area is one of great beauty and can produce some excellent fishing, going to try the area later this year ... fly fishing.
I’ll be back there a few times in the coming months, and looking forward to the lure fishing 🎣

I’ve never tried a multiplier before, I’ll have a look, might be an option for me😊 the extra distance could come in handy sometimes
Nice just to fish though we have all blanked once in a while Hinny
Thanks Stephen
Yeh, just to be out there is enough sometimes 👍🎣🐟
Give ya your dues for perseverance lass even the greatest fishers struggle some time but thats fishing for ya stay safe and tight lines unless its a slack line bite
Thanks Barry
Yeh I tried my best but the fish won that time 😆
Good video it’s called fishing not catching and it’s always good to be out tight lines
Thanks Paul 🙏 tight lines 🎣🐟
That's why it's called fishing and not catching but there is always another day try a rotten bottom right for rough ground 😊
Thanks Colin
Yeh, I should have made some rotten bottom rigs, I’ve made some previously but I’m usually ok at this venue. I think the swell was dragging me into snags on this occasion 🤷🏻♀️👍🎣🐟
As long as you enjoy it.
Doesnt matter if you catch or not.
That’s so true Audrey, I always come away happy, even if I don’t catch, I find it very therapeutic to fish 😊
