Haha, you didn’t see the bit I edited out 😳 after I stood up they were hanging right down, would have been 18 rated if I’d left that clip in. Very comfy hill walking trousers though 😆🤩👍🎣🐟
We struggled all week last week form Isle of Whithorn all the way around to Stranrear using bait spinners on rocks and beaches, not sure what was happening! - tight lines!
Superb Hinny, a pleasure to watch & yes, you are getting better & better. My season has been slow, with just one memorable day,...so far. Thanks for posting.
Good evening young lady excellent..time daniella it helps...you keep your head up and the sun on your face.. very much appreciate the hard work. Respectfully 🎣
Top angling Hinny well done and in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. Well done on the get down to that tidal mark no mean feat that respect. Have you tried the float of there? I used to buy Ammo frozen sand eels and ragworm from Ardwell Marine to fish of there. Have had Pollock to just over 11 pound and Ballan Wrasse in the cave to the right to Five pound. You're right fishing is a great time to reflect and be grateful for nature, tight lines always enjoy your fishing adventures.
Good Evening Danielle , This time you have really nailed it tbf , just be very careful when your climbing around those rocks we don't want you falling , as fishing back home there's no bait fish swimming around so no mackerel coming in , there's the odd one but even the boat reports saying the mackerel are small
Thanks Steve 👍 Yeh, I’m always really careful, I do have a lifejacket on order too which will be worn when required. Some mackerel in up this way but not in great numbers from what I’m hearing, maybe this recent hot weather will bring them in properly 🤞👍🎣🐟
You do find some good sport gal, even if some of ya locations scare the hell out of me 😂, like we’ve said before, don’t worry about a good old blank, we need them to make the good days even better 👍🏼🎣🍻
I stopped off there on way back and had a look around, very steep beach. I plan to do a trip at some point and do a wild camp & fish there, I found a great spot to do it when I was looking around 👍🎣🐟
Great video again Danielle, plenty of pollack too, I don't think FEAR is a word in your vocabulary, where you fishing next time? the top of Mount Everest, ha ha, take care,
@@fishinghinny i'd say it needs striping down, cleaning and re greasing. check out second chance tackle, he does reel servicing an or search youtube for make model of the reel. it actually much easier than you'd think
Every fish on the shore takes away the blank doldrums. As for your fishing spot on lass. The elephant in the room is the rubbish that gets left behind by other idiots which takes the edge off what your doing but they will learn stay safe and tight lines
Thanks Barry Yeh, people everywhere not respecting their surroundings 🤷🏻♀️ I’ll always try to leave the places I visit a little cleaner than when I arrived, as I’m sure most other people do too - the proper anglers. 👍🎣🐟
Best fish are usually hiding where no one else fishes, I’m always cautious and very careful where I go - I gave a life jacket on order too for future trips 👍🎣🐟
This is my girl. If this video was made 40 years ago, I would be inviting you to go sea bream fishing on the rocks. Type "pesca sargos Galicia" and you know what I mean. You don't see women there, to get to the fishing grounds you have to be climb with a rope or... I see you and others fishing on the rocks with a spinning rod. As a former sea bream fisherman, I say that on the rocks, you should never use a rod shorter than 4 meters, and that is for fishing grounds like the one you are fishing in, which we call high grounds, where the sea is directly below. For what we call shallow fishing grounds, where, regardless of the height, you still have about two meters of rock in front, a 7m rod is very welcome. The reason is, if you are 7 meters high and the rod is 4, you just need to lower the rod and reel it in, and when you raise the rod the fish is right next to you.
Thanks Jose 👍 I’ll watch some of those videos later 🤩 that makes sense too with the rod length explanation, we don’t seem to use rods as long as that here, maybe we should 🤔 👍🎣🐟
@@fishinghinny As you will see in the videos, I have attached some notes; They fish in those areas, but not exactly because people like to risk their lives every time they go fishing. They look for the best places in the sea. There are also waters there exactly like the one you were fishing in this video, but for sea bream you might eventually catch a fish, the probability is low. You will notice that the water is foamy, which means that it hits the rock and there is oxygenation, and it is when hitting the rock that it takes away from the rocks the fish food that the fish are waiting for it to fall. So the selection is always where there is foam, oxygenation, hitting the rock and VERY IMPORTANT blue waters. Green or brown waters are bad. Ps: the bait is used to throw it with a spoon onto the rock and not into the sea, the wave when it arrives is what takes the bait. In other words, replicate what happens naturally: the wave hits and the food falls. Ps2: A few more tips and you can start your sea bream fishing career. A true art, from reading the sea to the thickness of the line, what type of buoy to use (or not), the height of the buoy, etc., etc.
Fishing has not been to good down south either i think technology ie fishfinders etc has ruined it for the beach fisherman all to small fish these days
Cracking session and cracking video Danielle🦾🎣 The fish are getting bigger, the rock scrambling more adventurous - look forward to your next one…
Thanks Greg
I’m really enjoying the adventures
🤩👍🎣🐟
Some great fish caught. Well done. 🎣🎣
Thanks Chris 🎣🐟👍
Well done Danielle, great fishing by you and great video, thank you for all your hard work.
Thanks Nigel
It was a tough one this time, first day was a complete blank so I’m glad I managed to find some fish on the second day 🤩👍🎣🐟
Thanks for the video Danielle, looked like hard work. But you had some nice fish in the end ❤️🐟
Thanks Chris
Enjoyable, and yes, hard work - but I think you get out what you put in, so I don’t mind. It’s all great fun 🤩👍🎣🐟
@@fishinghinny Well said & very true ❤️🐟
A blank session's way better than not being out by the water Danielle ..... Lovin' the channel Hun ..... xx :-)
Thanks Dev
Yeh, I really don’t mind a blank, I always go home happy after a day out fishing 👍🎣🐟

Hi Danielle, cant beat the west coast of Scotland, I love the solitude of the area, well done on your Pollack catch x😊😊😊
Thanks David 👍
Yeh I love Scotland, and especially the west coast. If I didn’t live in Northumberland then I’d probably move over there 👍🎣🐟
@@fishinghinny me too!
You really can’t beat fishing off a rock in your own little world. Great video and some lovely fish.
Thanks Jim
Yeh, rock fishing is definitely my favourite type of fishing, especially if I have that rock all to myself 🤩👍🎣🐟
Great fishing Hinny, some lovely spots . Nearly lost your britches on those rocks 😅

It seems poor all over west and east, hopefully this hot weather may help pick things up a bit 👍🎣🐟
Not a bad few days fish wise Hinney and beautiful locations especially that sun set keep up the good work stay safe on those rocks 🐳
Thanks Adam
Yeh the sunset was amazing, I sat looking out to the horizons for a couple of hours afterwards, it was mesmerising 👍🎣🐟
Superb Hinny, a pleasure to watch & yes, you are getting better & better. My season has been slow, with just one memorable day,...so far. Thanks for posting.

Not long to go now, roll on the boat trip, I’m very much looking forward. Hope your well 👍🎣🐟

It does, a full day of patience initially - I can tell you that I was very glad to get some fish on that second day 🤩🎣

Well done lass being really slow for me this year for the cod and Pollock but been good for the bass tight lines 👍
Thanks Andrew
I think it’s been a slow year for most people, hopefully it’ll pick up with this calmer weather coming in 🤞

Great to see you enjoying fishing, why not consider saltwater fly fishing?
Yeh, I definitely will once I’ve learned the casting. I’d love to catch bass, pollock etc on the fly 🤞
Hi hinny love the video’s just a quick question how high are you from the water,it looks like your miles away on the GoPro ? Tia
Hi, It’s around 15ft from water, I’m unsure what height the tide was at when I was there so it could go to less, and also more 👍
Spin with frozen sand eel just head and tail them Pollock love them especially on the West coast..
Thanks James, I’ve not tried frozen sand eel yet, I’ll have to remember to give it a go next time I’m over 👍🎣🐟
Nice video
I got creeped out with strangers approaching me while fishing so i deleted all my videos and never made another 😂😂😂
Thanks
