Hawk250 gear shift issue fixed

- Many Hawk250, TBR7 and similar bike owners encountered shift getting locked up. Here is the video of how to remove, find problem, getting it fixed, and so on. Hopefully this video will help you out.

Had this same problem while miles away from home out on a trail. I had to have my brother grab my truck and come pick me and the hawk up. Thanks to this video I got her fixed. Thank you! 👌

Good how-to video. We become our own mechanics when we buy these bikes. Most likely an assembly at the factory. So far so good.

Hey fellas! Thanks a bunch! I just wanted to thank you for a great video, details and information on this issue! I have a 2021 Pro Hawk 250cc DLX !!! It did the same thing after 330 miles. Watched your video a few times, fixed motto. Changed oil. 20/50 SAE Valvoline Motto 4Stroke Oil. Great Stuff! Just Wanted to Thank Father and Son Team for Helping me, and everyone else! I would put some thread locker on it so it doesn't keep happening and make sure you tighten it good
on the bolt or screw threads in case you don't know about it
I like the information from your videos but I like that you and your son have a shared interest in the bikes.

Great video guys!!! I learned alot from it .. I'm doing my clutch springs today because my shifter on my 2020 hawk has been sticking and and missing some up shifts, plus its getting hard to find neutral lately....so I will be checking that roller to make sure it's not behind the gear selector and in the right position...ill post the video of the process on my channel ....thanks again guys ..

Do you have the baffle removed from that muffler? Like a DB Killer? Wondering how loud that exhaust is with a baffle installed? Thanks.
I'm currently having a similar issue when tightening the bolts are you just torking lightly or really cranking them on? and when you say turn the wheel are you refering to spinning the back tire by hand? or the clutch? my spoon is only catching and engaging 2 or 3 gears I'm curious if the springs around the gear shifter should be tightened or replaced? thanks for your video any help information would be great.
I have question i saw your engine smoking and I have that. Why is the engine smoking and is there a way to fix that?

Mine has a problem after shifting gear still not running fast. Can anyone help or tell me what's wrong?
Mine goes to 2-4 but won't go into 1st or 5th both nuts are tight
As I tried to watch this video, the sound was good but the picture on the screen looks scrambled and green out beyond any ability to see it. Maybe its TH-cam, maybe its my phone glitching but other videos play fine. Please check this video..
