great video guys....about to tackle my first valve adjustment on a Royal Enfield Himalayan ( 1st time ever for that matter), and this translates very well....every video I had watched on the subject missed a step or two, this was pretty straight forward. I think I am confident in doing it now.....thanks.
Another good video how-to. My Lifan X-Pect 200cc rattles at high RPM when accelerating somewhat quickly. I'm not redlining the RPMs while speeding up. The rattle sound seems to go away once I reach speed and gear and the RPM lowers while I am cruising. I'm hoping a valve adjustment takes the rattle away. I have the correct amount of the T4/20w-40 oil in the case. It only has 200 miles on the bike. If that doesn't fix it, I'm going to pull the clutch cover and see if there is something visibly loose that I can see or feel. I think the problems are because of less than stellar manufacturing assembly. If fixed early enough, the bike will last a good long time. Of course, it will always need adjustments.
This is, hands down, the best video on valve adjustment. Thank you for the great camera angles showing top dead center.
Great teaching
After watching this I finally feel ready to open up that cover.

Make sure your piston is at TDC on the compression stroke

Stay safe guy. That's for sharing your adventure.
On the lifan Xpect intake takes 0.003 and 0.005" for exhaust, not 0.002-0.003
