If you're having trouble getting Nibbi carburetor intake installed on your Hawk250 due to framework, here is a solution that I did on my Hawk.

Hawk250 gear shift issue fixed

Many Hawk250, TBR7 and similar bike owners encountered shift getting locked up. Here is the video of how to remove, find problem, getting it fixed, and so on. Hopefully this video will help you out.
360 Video of Sequoia uncut footage
มุมมอง 2784 ปีที่แล้ว
Quality is only Standard Definition for some reason and not High Definition. Sorry! Getting together a lot of the footage and still searching for a cheap data recovery method to get our 400GB of footage in our dead drive. Uploading whatever I can until I can get access to the rest of the footage to make a complete video of our trip. Thanks to Curt Martini for the 360 camera!
We arrived to Seattle without working headlight duento headlight switch malfunction.
มุมมอง 2214 ปีที่แล้ว
We fixed it temporarily by hot wiring it with pod lights and it's switch. A simple yet effective.
A bump in the road [UPDATE]
มุมมอง 2894 ปีที่แล้ว
So yeah, Hard Drive is toast but hope it can be recovered soon. Also I'll be able to upload the 360° video of Sequoia National Park when I get fast internet or wifi, it's still spotty here so I had to downscale this video I just posted. If you'd like to help support us finish the journey, we would be humbled for your support at the paypal link here: www.paypal.me/coalworker The link is directed...
Adventure Across America (DAY 3) Close one with a Deer!
มุมมอง 4414 ปีที่แล้ว
Started the morning off with some breakfast and drone footage. On our way through portions of the TAT I was practically racing a deer on the other side of a fence and almost hit it! Got into a small town for lunch and pulled into a motel for the night. If you'd like to help support us finish the journey, we would be humbled for your support at the paypal link here: www.paypal.me/coalworker The ...
Adventure Across America (DAY 2)
มุมมอง 6534 ปีที่แล้ว
2nd day was the day we officially got on the TAT after spending the night in Chattanooga Tennessee. Spent a lot of morning time to fix the Suzuki's cam chain tensioner oil leak. On the way out of town I had forgotten to top off the Hawk's fuel and ran out of it mid-ride. After some traveling through low mountains we ended up finding a nice dispersed camping spot near a boat ramp and spent the f...

Yep, videos are very late. Trying to manage every single photo and video we all record together and have the time out of riding and camping to edit and make them is a lot harder than I expected, but I will try. In the meantime I'm still getting used to this video editor on my phone and looking forward for some better quality videos as I work on them more and have more content to show to you all...

Testing Shinko 700 tires

Traction testing Shinko 700 tires for our 10k miles of TAT journey around American backroads. Excellent traction on or off road conditions, hard braking, hard acceleration was not an issue.
Home made Pannier rack for Hawk 250 motorcycle
มุมมอง 9814 ปีที่แล้ว
As our TAT trip is coming in 3 weeks (early June), Hawk needed to have a good pannier rack but nothing was available in the market. We decided to make our own, nothing impressive but functional. Total cost of bars $20 and few hours of planning, bending, cutting, welding etc.
Hawk's Speed/Acceleration test after head porting
มุมมอง 1.1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
As you guys know, it has Nibbi carb, gutted stock pipe, and 17/40 sprockets. Weather got unexpectedly high to 82°f. I decided to try on 2mile stretch highway with very little hills. I topped it 77 mph at 8000 rpm which is a hair short than I expected. If I re-jet the carburetor, I may could reach 80.

Noticed you have not posted in a year… lol .. I got my hawk 250 DLX.. I rode it maybe a little hard … took it on a 5 hour trip from lake Cumberland my to Cincinnati Ohio.. holding the throttle wide open the entire time.. basically.. it performed well.. I hit 85 once .. down hill .. lol… stayed around 70 mph though most of the time… the only issues I’ve had was wires rubbing.. well at a little over 3000 mile I think the wires rubbed ground out the ecu I’m not sure … anyway took all the fuel injection.. everything off.. put a carb.. runs better than ever..

I'm currently having a similar issue when tightening the bolts are you just torking lightly or really cranking them on? and when you say turn the wheel are you refering to spinning the back tire by hand? or the clutch? my spoon is only catching and engaging 2 or 3 gears I'm curious if the springs around the gear shifter should be tightened or replaced? thanks for your video any help information would be great.

Another good video how-to. My Lifan X-Pect 200cc rattles at high RPM when accelerating somewhat quickly. I'm not redlining the RPMs while speeding up. The rattle sound seems to go away once I reach speed and gear and the RPM lowers while I am cruising. I'm hoping a valve adjustment takes the rattle away. I have the correct amount of the T4/20w-40 oil in the case. It only has 200 miles on the bike. If that doesn't fix it, I'm going to pull the clutch cover and see if there is something visibly loose that I can see or feel. I think the problems are because of less than stellar manufacturing assembly. If fixed early enough, the bike will last a good long time. Of course, it will always need adjustments.

  • @SirGolfalot-
    @SirGolfalot- 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Good how-to video. We become our own mechanics when we buy these bikes. Most likely an assembly at the factory. So far so good.

I'm doing my clutch springs today because my shifter on my 2020 hawk has been sticking and and missing some up shifts, plus its getting hard to find neutral lately....so I will be checking that roller to make sure it's not behind the gear selector and in the right position...ill post the video of the process on my channel ....thanks again guys ..
