Motorcycle Stuck In Gear Wont Shift

In this video I show you guys how I temporary fix my 2012 budget Honda CMX 250 Rebel. I bought this motorcycle for $650 with light side damage. The problem was the bike was stuck in gear to a low speed drop. The shift linkage was bent along with the clutch pedal and clutch lever. I found out that the problem was the gearshift arm spring was missing off the shifting arm inside the crank case. Without the spring the shaft arm hooks would not come in contact with the drum and the bike will not go into gear. So I found the spring and installed it back on and it shifts great.

So great vid of the back of your hand. You did briefly show the spring didnt show how it went on. While playing the annoying music and mostly showing your own face tslking about other stuff . Shaky camera also maddening when trying to see how complex parts fit. You made it look easy. Which is really annoying when im stuck with a bike oil drained now cant get to storr to but motor oil

Ok I have an fz8 an it shifts good most of the time but sometimes while down shifting it will stick in second an won't go down into neutral or first... also sometimes it will only shift down if I hold the clutch in half way

I dropped my bike going 15 on the left side and it will shift up until 5, but won’t shift down?

I'm stuck in first gear while the engine is on but when the engine is off I can shift just fine. Any idea why this may be? I have a 2006 Honda Rebel 250

Seems like a honda rebel issue, mine does the same.

Did yall ever found out my is a suzuki 650 and does the same thing i can only shift 1 an 2 when its on and off i can shift all gears

@@Pokejoe92 It happened to me a few times. People would tell me to rock it back and forth and it never worked. So I ended up walking it forward a few feet and that did the trick. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

my suzuki GSX is on 5th gear too, gear lever is stuck. I had the smallest fall and yet fucked the lever.

@@shadowsong4956 the lever was bent hence why it would not budge when tried to change gears so I took off the lever and hammered it back to its original shape 😅

My burgman 650 is a 2008 it won't go past 1st gear do you think you know what the problem is
