This episode really helps in emphasizing just how dark and cruel the Quintessons are. Not just to the Cybertronian race, but to countless other alien races. Whether it was through selling armaments or other items with environmental polluting byproducts, any race that the Quintessons did business with always ended up under their complete control. Practically everything the Quintessons have ever done has always been at the expense of others.
My theory is that the Quintessons see themselves as superior to all other life and *should* rule the galaxy, but they completely lack the conventional military power to pursue such a plan. So they use subterfuge to destabilize other worlds, in addition the profits from these operations allow the Quintessons to fuel more conflicts and so on, it has the added benefit of making other species *more* reliant on Quintessons and therefore more willing to do what the five faces want.
And all based on the cruelty and corruption displayed by human leaders in real life. I remember seeing this episode as a child, and now I can have a greater appreciation for its story beyond the action sequences.

US was like the Quintesson for WW1and beginning of WW2. It's profit margin as long as both sides want to kill each other. US sell to whoever wants to buy weapons. Some people get it and try to avenge against US but to no avail.

After they fled Cybertron there were NO records of Quintessons ever being able to come back to Cybertron since they feared their own creations had managed to do which was considered the impossible, overcome THEIR control and became their own sentient beings... some time after was the Golden Age of Cybertron where the planet was at peace...then one day Megatron was built, he rounded up an army to take over the planet for the Decepticons, gunned down an inocent dockworker named Orion Pax, the time displaced Aerialbots took him to young Alpha Trion and the rest as they say is history..it's pretty cut and dry with no room to fit quintesson involvement, sorry I just don't see how they could have been a factor considering they were chased off the planet and made NO contract with Cybertronains until Transformers the Movie...The Cybertronians in this case were responsible for their own war no outside help made that happen

Even Ultra Magnus was complaining and grumbling that he’ll rather fight Decepticons coz they gave him less trouble than this melee. If Prime was around, I think he’ll be equally pissed off and would have used even more physical force to restraint both parties.

They just stopped bothering applying effects on the voices many of the characters by this time. The production levels were really dropping. In the first series they actually seemed to have had individual settings they were using for each character. Perceptor gets something applied as a legacy character, but it is just a faint ring modulator effect and not the effect he had in the second series. Blaster has something, but most post movie characters have no effects applied at or, or they are inconsistently applied.

Ok this might sound crazy. Who ever is reading, when I was watching the end of the video, there was blaster along with bumblebee and some other unkown autobots, their was one autobot that had the same design as ratchet had the same body shape and everything, but it was recolored as blaster so that might been error of ratchet or just a different autobot. Even tho ratchet is sadly dead.

@@chrisedwards3214 Rodimus doesn't get enough credit as a leader--he reconquered Cybertron from the Decepticons, spent most of season 3 restoring it to habitable conditions, literally ended a war, unified the galaxy against the Decepticon menace, and founded the Galactic Olympics to create peace and cooperation throughout the galaxy. I'm not at all dissing Optimus, I love him as much as anyone else, but Rodimus' term as Prime was a really prosperous one for just two years.
At least Rodimus had things under control despite being in a hostile situation when it could get real ugly. If Optimus Prime was the mediator, things could get even worse coz he would use more physical force to restrain both parties.
I know that frustration. My favorite was Apeface, and he doesn't come in till the three part finally. And even then he's sharing the spotlight with so many others.

Interesting that several Transformers were Space Shuttles, in that the Shuttle wasn't really built for interstellar travel. At best they were only good for travelling just beyond orbit, possibly the moon.
I find it extremely bizarre at how in one episode they spoof middle eastern "Democratic Socialist" dictatorships but then in this episode they take on the military industrial complex as if the only thing that kept nations from destroying each other was the lack of weapons, and you know, not power struggles between who deserves being at the top of drug traffic or authoritarian positions - something this episode doesn't really allude to. With that said, pretty good episode. Love how it shows Rodimus Prime's leadership naturally and effectively - him and Ultra Magnus just jump on skylynx and nuke the quintesson's ship out of the sky. Amazing.
the leitmotif is that even knowing it, the decepticons are always deceived, only because compared to the first season they are the bad guys and not galvatron, in fact seeing an entire season with aliens who have the best in space only because they travel in an astronaut and the transformers do not make me laugh, trivial

can we imagine Leonard Nimoy continuing as the actor for Galvatron? Don't get me wrong, but Frank Welker isn't THAT bad with galvatron, the only thing i hate about his voice, I can't take him too seriously compared to when he did Megatron xd With Leonard Nimoy, he sounded pretty intimidating, especially when he said his solos. But I think this was due to budget, cause the animation in Season 3 is pretty bad enough to give me a answer to why Leonard Nimoy couldn't stay.
I think for plot reasons Welker uses that voice for Galvatron we all know. In commercials leading up to the movie, Welker's original Galvatron voice was much more calm.
My theory that all that time trapped in that lava or whatever Galvatron was trapped in burnt up his voicebox and made his voice the way it is in season 3 and 4, not to mention that may have happened to his processor as well and that’s why he went insane.
Why would Perceptor call Skylynx knowing that the Autobot’s communications officer is aboard? Seeing Blaster in his boombox form, why would Steeljaw and Ramhorn in there Tape transformation, be outside Blaster leaning up against him! Very strange continuity just to save a few celluloid strips!

Astrotrain was shown in interstellar flight in the movie, and made it to the moons of Titan in God Gambit.

Don't get me wrong, but Frank Welker isn't THAT bad with galvatron, the only thing i hate about his voice, I can't take him too seriously compared to when he did Megatron xd
With Leonard Nimoy, he sounded pretty intimidating, especially when he said his solos. But I think this was due to budget, cause the animation in Season 3 is pretty bad enough to give me a answer to why Leonard Nimoy couldn't stay.
They could only afford him for the movie
I think for plot reasons Welker uses that voice for Galvatron we all know. In commercials leading up to the movie, Welker's original Galvatron voice was much more calm.
My theory that all that time trapped in that lava or whatever Galvatron was trapped in burnt up his voicebox and made his voice the way it is in season 3 and 4, not to mention that may have happened to his processor as well and that’s why he went insane.
Welker works cheap Nimoy did not

Why would Perceptor call Skylynx knowing that the Autobot’s communications officer is aboard? Seeing Blaster in his boombox form, why would Steeljaw and Ramhorn in there Tape transformation, be outside Blaster leaning up against him! Very strange continuity just to save a few celluloid strips!

@@pikachu0Z Take another look and you'll see that's not the case at all. Trouble is that it's too hard to draw and when you have Akom level animators working on the episode... it's just gonna lead to oddities.

That's true, I mostly referring to the episodes by Toei since that issue carried on in Headmasters for a bit.
But yeah one thing about the Akom episodes is it's a guarantee all the characters are going to be off model in a shot, or look too stiff like in The autobot run, City of Steel or the Core from season 2.
