One of my favourite episodes of G1 season 3. And the only one to feature Omega Supreme, just so fans would know that he wasn't dead. Notice however that Omega's voice isn't like it's usual self as in season 2.
One reason His toy was still being sold in 86 Omega supreme. What I don't understand was. The season 2 decepticon jets returned in 86 but not the autobot cars season 2. 85 cars did not get 2 years on the shelf like others did. jetfire was still being sold in 86 & He was not even shown.
It struck me as weird even as a kid back in the day, that they suddenly dug up Omega Supreme from season 2, when they had already featured Sky Lynx earlier in the episode, who would have been perfectly capable of transporting them. In retrospect though, I imagine Hasbro probably had some overstock Omega Supreme toys from the previous year, and handed down a directive to slap him into an episode. 😂🤣
Galvatron going on a rampage because of what he saw on the television is just hilarious to me. Like he’s the embodiment of all those complaints parents say about “TeLeViSiOn AnD vIdEo GaMeS aRe CoRrUpTiNg OuR yOuTh.”

Speaking personally as someone who had season three be his introduction to G1, I've often felt that Galvatron should've been legit killed off at the end of the 86 movie and have Cyclonus take his place as leader. Dude's just awesome 😊

I used to be really disappointed in the change in behavior from the Movie Galvatron to Season 3 as a child. But now I can't help but love his madness, and his unceasing confidence. It's a breath of fresh air to dark and serious, brooding villains.
I'm still shocked to this day at how everyone even Cyclonus wasnt fed up with Galvatrons negligence and abusiveness especially when they had something actually important to report.
You know a huge spoiler Megatron will actually be revealed as one of the greatest leaders that fallen to a Cartoon version of mental health issues, the reason both Galvatron and Megatron were so power hungry was because of a literal blown fuse and first minor and later huge brain damage which eventually was fixed by the Autobots, which reverted Megatron to the perfect military leader he was meant to be, which he got to become with his heroic death.

That usually depends on the moment, actually I finally realised what the damage is, he has a danger sense and emotion control issue, probably because of Unicron's programing he was reduced to this state before his fight with Rodimus, I think the brain damage was caused by Unicrons method of torture which basically involved painful energy burst when Unicron was dying he released one final burst that was strong enough to damage Galvatron's sense of danger, before that Unicron was actually moderating the frequency as to not damage Galvatron but merely put him in pain, when Galvatron will eventually be captured the Autobots will fix that reverting him back to Megatron
@@BlazeMaster It's implied that that's the damage they uncovered when Cyclonus took Galvatron to Webworld, but the were unable/not willing to repair it, so they opted to "lobotomize" Galvatron instead. Even as a kid, I felt sympathy for Galvatron and was glad when he busted out.

Here are some things I'd do to remake G1 (including the movie) into somewhat of a new Transformers series: 1) Allow for the Dinobots to have a combined form 2) Clear up the origin of the Constructicons 3) Make it so that Skywarp is definitely the one to be upgraded into Cyclonus 4) Allow all three of the Insecticons to be upgraded into the sweeps 5) Have Reflector dumped into space as well, and have him upgraded into another decepticon, such as Cyclonus's armada or someone like Stinger or Junkheap (after all, Reflector is never again seen after Starscream's coronation) 6) Maybe clear up the origin of other transformers, such as the Protectobots, Sky Lynx, Predacons and Terrorcons 7) Maybe give Unicron a different origin, one much better than Primacron being his creator 8) Maybe allow for the Quintessons to still be in the series, but not for them to be the creators of the transformers 9) And last but not least, better animation!
This episode had it all: Sky Lynx with his usual boastfulness, Omega Supreme with his two-word sentences, the Junkions with their TV-talking, the Quintessons up to their usual tricks, Galvatron's madness, and war everywhere! What more could you ask for in a Transformers episode?!
I get so many more of the references now. As a kid I didn't know 99% of what the junkions were saying. I also liked this explanation of Omega Supreme. How he simply compresses the rest of his body in rocket mode. You see it all unfolding out of him when he transforms.

To be fair Omega was offline at that point and outgunned and outnumbered are different things. The Deceptions are built for war and had the advantage of surprise and flight in that battle, thus the Autobots are outgunned until Omega comes back online.... So much for Galvatron's lack of interest in the Junkions. Galvatron thought he could run rough-shod over the Junkions, but to his arrogance and subsequent detriment, the Junkions proved to be too much for him. He should've took Cyclonus's advice and tried to turn them against the autobots. Better to have the Junkions as allies than enemies.
Trying to fight the Junkions on the planet of Junk is about as stupid as trying to fight all the Dinobots at once, if not moreso. At least the Dinobots can die, and there’s only five of them.
It seems like a lot of episodes in season 3 are aired out of order. This seems like it should come before episode 21. These aren't the only two episodes that seem out of order.

To be fair Omega was offline at that point and outgunned and outnumbered are different things. The Deceptions are built for war and had the advantage of surprise and flight in that battle, thus the Autobots are outgunned until Omega comes back online....

Galvatron thought he could run rough-shod over the Junkions, but to his arrogance and subsequent detriment, the Junkions proved to be too much for him. He should've took Cyclonus's advice and tried to turn them against the autobots. Better to have the Junkions as allies than enemies.
Trying to fight the Junkions on the planet of Junk is about as stupid as trying to fight all the Dinobots at once, if not moreso. At least the Dinobots can die, and there’s only five of them.
