I truly understand your disappointment at the missed bite, I was fishing Deal pier Monday when my ratchet screamed. Only to find a group of seagulls were eating somebody's discarded sandwiches, got caught on my line. It did get the heart pumping for a moment or two. Tight lines Paul

Certainly makes a change for me to catch fish and am out again with a few subscribers this Sunday who have never caught bream and let’s hope it all comes together. Cornwall always looks so fishy but have had many holidays there and caught nothing. Went for a whole week with a fishing friend of mine to Tintagel fished all the beaches nearby and caught absolutely nothing but did have a drink or two. I'm sat here debating whether to go for an early morning session at cleeyhorpes tomoz morning , they are very big spring tides the next few days. Hi Carl have practiced that face for many years and certainly makes a change for me to catch a bit more consistently. I suspect the fish that got away was a bass but I was using very small hooks and pulled the hook. If only the fish knew that I was going to release it whatever it was, still as Klaus kept telling me only fishing. Still feeling the pain now 😂 Tell your lads that you are a legend as well as being famous and she is fortunate indeed to have you in her life. I wish I could have sent my mother in law to the Isle of Wight as well 😂 My fingers crossed for you if you get out and am planning to fish this Sunday at Selsey deep water venue and massive currents with the big tides. A few subscribers turning up who have never caught Bream so let’s hope we catch a few and make some wishes come true. One chap travelling over 150 miles to the beach.
