I just wanna tell ya Mr Kent, thank you very much for bringing much entertainment throughout my quarantine period where I experienced a lot of family fights and strong bouts of depression and self hatred. Your videos never failed to make me feel good and put a smile on my face. Thanks for being the cowboy the world needs!

Special sauce will be next time, Thanks Kent for all your cooking advise. I have sure improved my cooking skills especially with cast iron. Breakfast sandwich was made in 100% cast iron pans.

Kent years back I used to live in Fort St John British Columbia. There was a diner there call Irene's. She had, handsdown the best breakfast sandwich and Eggs Benedict I have ever had in my 60 years. Her secret was similar to yours. Every morning she had a freshly roasted pork picnic (shoulder, bone in). She sliced it right out of the oven and then attempted to kill us all by hardening my arteries. It was incredible! I eat one or the other when we are out for breakfast but even the best restaurants have not done the job. Thank you for the memories, I think I will make these on the weekend.
I'm the cook (and best hunter) in my hunting group here in Colorado (5 of us). I usually make burritos ahead for us for breakfast, but this season I'm doing these for our breakfast. Wrapped in foil and warmed in the oven before the sleepy heads fall out of bed and into the truck. Thank you Kent, Shannon and the Pupps.
There’s no McDonald’s in my Alaska Village. My kids still remember what it taste like though. This will be loved! Thank you for all your videos and can’t wait to make this one! As always thank you for your videos and your time. We always look forward to them and the recipes we get to enjoy together from them. In this time when it’s so hard to travel I really appreciate all you do! Have a great weekend!
Oh my goodness! I made these today and they are amazing! We found Kent during COVID-19 quarantine and binge watched everything on the Channel. We're all caught up now and waiting for Wednesday!
This cracks me up. Late at night, bored, and was like, “Oh yea, Kent will cure the boredom...” lol, and he does not fail....Awesome video and I love your cookbook!;)
Awesome. We LOVE making something homemade that is no where near what you get in the drive up or restaurant. We have 5 taste testers. We are SSSOOOO proud of your Christian faith and how openly and proudly you show it when you pray on video. We are also SSSSOOOO proud of how you always Thank our service men and women. Back a number of years ago when I was still physically able to, we had CARE PACKAGES FROM HOME. I started from my living room and it grew from there. We packed copy paper boxes FULL of shelf stable foods, personal care items, Christmas cards from children, local newspapers and much more. I miss it dearly but I became so disabled I could no longer do it. We LOVE your videos and cooking. If I was able I would love to come out there and help you do what you do. Keep up the great work.❣️❣️❣️❣️
This was great! I have a little griswold square iron "egg" skillet I like to use to make these! It's perfect for 2 eggs. You need to be on the hunt for one!
My wife makes these for me almost every single day! Except she puts sausage and ham on them, butter, mayo and mustard. Just the way I love them! Now I need to have her try it cowboy Kent style! I'm drooling right now! Thanks
The only time I stop off at the golden arches is when I'm on the road and only for their breakfast stuff. But I see that we are on same page. There is nothing like making your own egg McMuffin. But I like sausage patties on mine along with a few slices of thick cut bacon. I love this artery clogging breakfast sandwich. Thanks for sharing and may God keep you, Shannon, and everyone else safe from this bad times.
I know it doesn't mean anything from a stranger, but I have to tell you that you are so very awesome and so refreshing to watch. Thank you for sharing everything you do with us. I just discovered you this week and already one of my all time favorites. It looks like God had blessed you much already and I hope he continues too. Stay safe and happy my friend.
Those are truly about the best morning hot filling treats to get the day started. McDonald's really had an idea way back but then, they invented the "Egg McMuffin With Sausage" which really cranked up the morning ! We make just those with Jimmy Dean Regular Sausage, form round patties like that cut of ham you used and then, with the egg's we cooked them about 80% before breaking the yolk because we just love a little runny yolk so, about then we poked the yolk but didn't stir it then flipped it over for a 20 second or less fry then removed it to the prepared english muffin, on the sausage patty and the melting cheese. The muffins we cooked in the cast iron skillet face down in butter until golden. Best finger eating breakfast ever and mainly because of the sausage and its seasoning ! So yummo with that tad bit of runny yolk too...
I really appreciate that you mention our veterans in every video that you make. My grandfather was in World War One, my father was in the Air Force during theKorean War, my uncles served in the Navy in World War II and my brother was in the Air Force for twenty-five years.
My Friday morning commute treat is a local drive thru egg McMuffin and cup o' Joe. After watching your sandwich version I may just have to settle for a pop-tart at the office!! Keep up the good work and keep tipping that hat Brother !!
Made these this morning for the family, quietest breakfast in long time, no leftovers or scraps for the tail wagger's, thank you for an awesome recipe Cowboy Kent! I did substitute the English muffin with a local baked jalapeno/Cheese muffin. Thank you and Shannon again for all the great videos and for bringing some peace to this earth during these times we are living in. God Bless!
Now THAT’S and egg McMuffin! 8 paws up (or was it 16?) 😝 I’m glad you include your doggies - ours ALWAYS share meals with us! Great breakfast meals for any time of day!! 🇺🇸🤗🤩👍‼️❣️

Love how you keep it real, and the comparison speaks for itself. Also a fellow dog lover and my dogs let me know when food ain't up to par!! Keep up the great content brother
Great video, as always! One thing we do different when we make these at our house is not break the yolks because some of us enjoy that yellow cackleberry sauce!
I don't want to sound too corny or presumptuous here but I was kind of feeling the weight of the day and scrolling looking for something to watch while I was making a bite to eat. Your video showed up and my first thought was "yeah, a visit with my friend Kent is just the thing." Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Rollins. You made at least one person's load a little lighter today.
I love your wooden salt/pepper container. What a great idea. Growing up during the birth of the egg mcMuffin I think this will end up being the winner of your breakfast videos. I have a few more to watch though. Have an awesome day!😊
Wonderful video. I have found using the rings to make a round egg product, let the ring heat up good and hot prior to putting eggs in help to prevent leakage. Love your videos!
Made many of these at McDonald’s in the mid-70’s and I will say, yours has them beat hands down. Maybe it’s because we were not allowed to sing “Don’t Rock the boat” in the kitchen..?
And you probably weren't allowed to dance either. And did anyone notice that we got two dance segments from the cowboy today. Oh yah...that's what I'm talking about.😍 Made up from last week.
I just got to tell you that i love the little editing that Miss Shannon does. I really enjoy you videos, I specifically like the way you cook ( it reminds me of when l was growing up in Southeast Oklahoma ). God bless you and Your family for all you do.
Jim Skarw - I love ham, and Kent’s version is one I’d eat for sure, but for something like this, I’d prefer sausage. I’ve noticed the McDonald’s sandwiches have gotten smaller and the muffins now have the texture of microwaved bread, tough and chewy, not crisp and crunchy like they used to be.
Just found you!!! SO GLAD!!! I miss my family's country cooking!!! Very sentimental.......and you got my tummy growling!!!! Can't wait to see the rest of these! AND can't wait to get in the Kitchen.....inside or out!
Thank you Kent. This episode was a flash back in time. 1976, I was 16 years old, had just bought my first car and the first place I went was Mc Donald’s for my first egg Mc Muffin. I haven’t been to a fast food restaurant in years. Like you I prefer to make my own but your show got me curious so I went out and bought one.I can attest that the quality sure has gotten worse over the years.
Another uplifting course of "Food For The Soul". Great food and great folks. We are better people because we spent time with Kent and let some of his sincere gentlemanlyness rub off. But.... Whoa There Big Fella......... I've never met a cowboy who didn't have a knife? I understand forgetting the "kitchen" knife. Every cowboy I now has a "yellow handle trapper" in his pocket or a "Buck folding hunter" on his belt. I'd love to see an episode where Kent forgets the kitchen knife, pulls out his folder, wipes it on his jeans, and carries on............................... God Bless you folks real good!
I usually do the Sausage McMuffin without egg. I just don't care for the texture of the round egg on the McMuffins, plus McDonald's sausage patties are pretty good as fast-food breakfast stuff goes.
Mr Rollins you are amazing the more I watch your show the more I love it and get more hungry your recipes are great and the half unit of yours makes you more better she is fantastic take care God Bless you both.
Ken, I love your videos. I have absolutely no doubt your an amazing cook. If we were back 150 years ago, and you were my camp cook. I’d be scared to death, you forget the most basic utensils you need for almost every dish.
I work at a correction facility and we are on ," high alert" due to an inmate stabbing a fellow officer seven times. I love you, Shannon, and all your fault ur legged friends. I purchased your latest cookbook faith family and the feast. And my own family loves the things in it from the pictures and recipes to the fact that we all watch you and our tail- waggers like to sample the goodies as well. While I love each and every service member, and police officer who protects our great nation, I'd like to mention that each night I go in and do not know if I'll get to come home alive. We are so few to do so much and looked down upon by citizens and politicians as well as the thin blue line which like it or not we are a part of. Just asking for a simple prayer and perhaps a bit of understanding. Love you guys, Laz
Larry Rawlings - thank you for _your_ service. We owe a lot to our law enforcement men and women (and to their families). I, as one of many, support you all. The disrespect and disdain with which they're being treated right now is sickening and, well, just plain evil. You didn't say (and don't need to) so I'll hope and pray for the best for your fellow officer - I sincerely hope he/she survives, but that's hard to imagine. You have my prayers as well. Be safe and thanks!
He lived and is doing well but the day I posted a female officer was beaten by an offender who was crying for protective custody and as she was to take him to where he could be in solitary confinement. He pounced on her then as she pulled her mace,( o.c.), he took it and pounded her with the can. She is not as resilient as the male officer was. Nor was she able to call for help. The locked up inmates screaming alerted other officers. She needs your prayers.
@@larryrawlings7508 -- Hi Larry, I am relieved to hear your male coworker is recovering and grieved to hear of another one who has been attacked. Yes, you and she have my prayers -- as does the other officer. Far, _far_ more important than my prayers, you and they have God’s presence and love. With the Lord’s help, she will recover and God’s spirit of peace and calm will envelop the correctional institute where you work. Larry, you are not alone. While it often seems that we are isolated and that our work places, our nation and the whole world seem to have gone completely berserk, many remain connected to each other and, more importantly, to God, our heavenly Father. Many still seek His comfort, strength and wisdom. It is obvious from your post that you do too. Prayer is real and so is Christian fellowship. Read His holy Word often; store it in your heart. Keep your eyes focused on His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Remain strong and let His light shine through you. We need men strong in the Lord such as you. Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father, look upon Larry and his coworkers; protect and heal them. Grant them the strength to persevere, the wisdom to do their jobs well and comfort them with your peace as they serve you, not only in their workplace, but also in their families and communities. Yes, Lord, bless all of our service men and women AND our police officers and all those working in law enforcement in our correctional institutes. Thank you for their help and service in keeping the rest of us safe as they risk their own safety and wellbeing. God, please extend your protection, comfort and healing to the inmates as well. All of us need you; there are none who do not. Larry, one final word here - it certainly helps to tune into Cowboy Kent Rollins channel for Kent and Shannon’s welcome humor and happy-dances, great recipes and their appreciation for the Lord. The Rollins’ are truly a gift from God. The Beag and Duke included! Big smiles and a huge, virtual (socially distanced), hug.
I’m right there with you. I’m an officer for a good sized municipality. Life’s not too good for us right now. I have spent many nights the past few months just talking to God. This channel definitely helps in that its so simple and wholesome. God be with you.
Thank you for this recipe! Everywhere I looked had cheese, Canadian bacon, egg and an English muffin but I tried it this way and it was just dry and plain and sad. I can't wait to try your version! Thank you!
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times this looks amazing and I’d add some fresh roasted chilies to it to make it even better, keep it up good sir!

Just found you!!! SO GLAD!!! I miss my family's country cooking!!! Very sentimental.......and you got my tummy growling!!!! Can't wait to see the rest of these! AND can't wait to get in the Kitchen.....inside or out!
Hoo doggies that’s a great sandwich. Thanks for sharing with us Kent and Shannon, really enjoyed the video 👍👍
I absolutely love you so much Mr. and Mrs. Rollins. The southern style and cowboy culture shared though food and love.
Now that is one wholesome sounding bite into that cowboy McMuffin.
Thanks for watching
I have made my own Sausage egg muffins. They are so good! I know what I will be making again soon. Thanks for the idea. 👍
Hope enjoy Becky and Thanks for watching
I dont think kent is capable of making a bad video. What a legend.
You're lucky, the last time I got one of those I got home and it was a sausage, egg, cheese, biscut. Yours really looks good.
It's expensive processed garbage. You probably don't wanna know what they put in their "food". Just a large drink alone at most places is $3!
I don't know what we do without the Kent's & Shannon's of the world. Luv u
Hey Kent, since the McRib is back, you should make a cowboy McRib sandwich.
What about the sausage egg McMuffin? That’s my personal fav :3
Thats the best thing from macca’s
I prefer sausage over ham as well - I am sure anything we pick up at the grocery store is higher quality than what we get at Micky D's.
I usually do the Sausage McMuffin without egg. I just don't care for the texture of the round egg on the McMuffins, plus McDonald's sausage patties are pretty good as fast-food breakfast stuff goes.
You are one the rare reason for me to go down off Canada, and into the tasty overdone barbecue scene. Tip o' the hat!
They don't make them as wholesome as cowboy Kent anymore. What a top lad 👍👍
Thanks for watching
Even though it's messy as heck I love leaving the yolks undisturbed. It's like an extra sauce when it break as you eat it.
I do just a single poke, no stirring involved.
Thanks Kent! I'll be making one of those that's for sure. Now we need some double sized hash brown patties to go with it. :)
Would be good it would
I love the Always Sunny intro keep bringing the world together through good food you are Awesome Sauce Sir.
"The ham was feeling a little cold, he needed a cover" hahahaha thats so great
Mr Rollins you are amazing the more I watch your show the more I love it and get more hungry your recipes are great and the half unit of yours makes you more better she is fantastic take care God Bless you both.
I can’t get over how smooth Kent is. It’s like he wrote a script and repeats it before us
Thanks for watching
Cowboy Kent Rollins the legend replies! God bless you Kent
Love you guys,
Laz
Thank you!
You can't have too much cheese! Love it ❤️
Well said bonito
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times this looks amazing and I’d add some fresh roasted chilies to it to make it even better, keep it up good sir!
