i always freeze my breads/muffins when i buy them and then i take it directly out the freezer and put it in an air fryer at 180c for 5 mins, flipping it half way. the bread always tastes so good this way. and i never worry about bread going stale cos its in my freezer
Made these a few days ago and been having them for breakfast each morning. Absolutely fantastic. Some personal tips: I made mine with 2% Turkey, they taste great but I think some sriracha mayo makes up for the blander meat choice, excited to try beef eventually If you only have dishes that are too big for the eggs, shape the egg mixture into it's own patty or you end up with overhanging egg Put a paper towel underneath them when microwaving as they have some moisture in the bottom in my experience
Made these and have been eating them throughout the week. Keeps me full for most of my work day. Like the other comments suggest, I would also recommend freezing without the english muffin, heat everything else in oven, then add muffin and cheese and toast.
Great recipe. Please keep making more recipes that can be frozen. They are great for busy working people trying to keep up with a good gym routine. Love it
The cookbook is amazing!!! Most recipes link to a video which is a game changer thanks for your work! Just got the cookbook and I already love you simple and straightforward it is!
If you dont want this to taste like a mini cheese burger with egg. I suggest adding thyme and rosemary to your meat mixture to give it more of a "sausage" taste. Overall, really good recipe tho!
These look really good, but I'm trying to cut out breads. I will try the same ingredients, but just cook the meat as crumbled mincemeat and add it to the eggs, add the cheese in shreds, and bake it in muffin molds. High Protein Egg Bites!
I got your cookbook and this was the first thing we decided to make last night. They are very good. My wife says they are one of her new favorites. I like them because our high protein / low calorie diet was really lacking in flavor but your cookbook looks like that all about to change. Thank you!!
Made these today. Amazing! Added fine fennel seeds to the sausage. So many variations you can make to the patty. Gochugong is soo good. I used to eat it on toast! Danke Felu
Man this is a really good quality video! Straight to the point and very clearly explained. Nice touch on giving both Celsius and Fahrenheit I have have to do the conversion myself. You definitely deserve more views 👏
Great video! I've been making a similar breakfast sandwich, but with added egg whites for more protein. Instead of mayo I used lite laughing cow cheese which adds a nice creamy flavor, and instead of american cheese a low-fat cheddar slice - doesn't melt as well, but tastes better than the processed american cheese.
For that breakfast sausage taste is recommend adding sage to your meatballs just from a culinary view. Im just getting into meal prepping but with a cooking background making the meals is the easiest part. We operatees a kitchen and those black containers with clear lids give me flashbacks. The sandwiches look really good, i usually make a 9x13 inch baking dish size of frittata. I use 12 eggs, turkey sausage, tomato, bell pepper, onion, diced cooked potatoes and low fat shredded cheddar. Cook at 350 for 30 mins or you can use a muffin tin of you don't want to slice it afterwards..
Auch wenn anhand der Produkte es seither ersichtlich war, dass Du in Deutschland unterwegs bist, habe ich gerade zweimal hinhören müssen :) dachte schon ich hab was kaputt gemacht 😂
Made these this morning.. superb! Man are they filling though. Only need one. I'll be using them as post MTB ride food as usually after a 60k ride I just want to eat the house when I get home.
Thank you for the recipes and the guides! One of my favourite cooking channels. May I ask what is the spray oil used , and where it can be bought? I wasn’t able to find spray oil in neither Kaufland now REWE…
Do a egg mixture like you would make to scramble. Grease/spray a muffin pan. Poor your eggs 3/4 to top. Add peppers, onions, bacon, cheese, etc.. What ever you like. Bake for 25 min @ 350. I put two on a keto tortilla wrap with my favorite salsa for breakfast or lunch. Excellent. They keep well for days and heat up way better than you would expect!
Honestly the McMuffin is probably the best fast food item out there. It's not overly greasy, and is high in protein. I think it's the best breakfast fast food option too.

I agree, but McDonald's removed the breakfast menu in all restaurants in Denmark 😭
Good video. I need to try eggs with gochujang sauce, sounds delich. I add fennel seeds to the mix of meat when making sausages, it's what I relate to the 'sausage' flavor. Thanks
I have to try this. Thanks for sharing! Oh, for calorie counters a McDonald’s egg McMuffin only has 300 calories so mixing egg whites with whole eggs and using lean ham in place of the sausage will save you 100 calories. But this recipe looks awesome for taste so I’m going his way 😂
Made these twice. Amazing recipe and great for saving time and money. The only problem that I found is that the eggs do not cook in 20 minutes in my oven, more like 30 if i mix the cooked parts with the runny parts periodically. I see hes putting his towards the top so maybe if I set the oven to broil and put the eggs on the top rack it will work better.
The only part of this I think needs to be prepped is the egg. The sausage cooks very quickly from frozen and IF YOUR version still takes 5 minutes microwave time then fresh would be better. Form the sausage patties and separate with wax paper. Mix eggs and bake on a large sheet pan. Cut and stack with wax paper, like the sausage. Now when you want one pop the muffin in the toaster, and an egg square plus a sausage patty in a nonstick pan. 2 minutes a side is all it takes if the sausage is thinly formed. The muffin will be toasted first, add lite mayo and cheese, then an egg and a sausage. Wipe out the pan with a paper kitchen towel and you're done in 5 minutes. In basically the same time as reheating a rubbery, freezer burnt sandwich you have a perfect fresh one. The recipe is solid though.😊
Only if we're assuming you always have muffins (and if you say you can put them in the freezer well then you basically have the entire burger already there), want the hassle of cooking and dishes, and that it will equal the same amount of time.
Or you could do the prep to save having to wash pans every time, wrap the muffins in foil and use an air fryer instead of the microwave. Then you get the time saving of meal prep with more edible food
@@callumcochrane7759 DAyum I have an air fryer but no microwave - so foil works like this aye? mine is like 140-200c degrees celcius, any suggestions for what heat i should throw it on to defrost a mcmuffin ?
Really like your recipes, but I have been wondering. Where do I get lean ground beef in Germany? Couldn't find any at grocery stores like Rewe and Aldi and I have no butcher in town.
Thanks for the recipe. I made them - they are good, but honestly, they’re such a dense protein hit I feel like they sit in your stomach for the rest of the day. I struggle to get my other meals in because I just don’t feel like eating! Maybe good for some people but I’ll stick with something lighter for breakfast I think.

I love this idea, Felu, and look forward to making it. But in the past year or so, American cheese has started tasting kind of oily to me (and I'm an American...lol). If I switch from American cheese to slices of cheddar cheese, would that change the dietary numbers too much?
Look at the package. They all vary based on the size of the slice. 1 ounce of cheddar typically runs 100 to 110 calories. But some brands may not use a full ounce per slice. Or you could buy a block of cheddar and cut it yourself. And just cut 1/2 ounce slices.
These made me think of this one product in the freezer isle of the one shop near me, but everything is raw and you're supposed to put them into a waffle iron while they are still frozen. I assume that is so that they are crisper once they are done, but I have not tried them.

Good idea. I think I'll try it this way. I'm _just_ about to try making these in a few short moments.
I was going to do it for the first time, I'm going to follow your advice thanks a lot

Pretty good.

add 1 to 1 1/2tsp of ground ginger to the meat, really makes it hit that "sausage" mark
For American style breakfast sausage, rubbed sage is the go to herb. I have made low fat turkey sausage with this.
Tried many of your recipes and I must say, they’re THE easiest to make and most delicious out of the many I’ve tried.
