Hahahaha fair point. The sacrifice-benefit ratio just isn't there for me for stiffer engine mounts. It doesn't give enough benefit to justify rattling my fillings out. These 62a mounts are perfect
@@GearsandGasoline The 62A will be fine, especially having all the mounts it will have a cumulative effect and the engine will stay in place. I have a 70A for rear lower mount and it rattles the dash a little too much, but the 62A I have as a top torque mount is perfect. Shout out to Hasport for always making great stuff

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic's with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry's and ordered 3 t66 turbo's with NOS's and a Motec System Exhaust.

It’s a stock block k24 with 2.2 DC cams and a stock intake manifold. On e85 maybe 250 at the tires. If you want 300 stock block you need 3.2 or bigger cams , sk2 ultra manifold and head work.

@@PolishedMobileDetailing503 Exactly, there is NO way in hell this thing comes close to 300.. To reach 300whp, he would need bigger cams, higher compression pistons that would actually see gains from e85, and yes a valvetrain upgrade. tbh, I think he is lucky if he hits 250 wheel.. It depends on the dyno, but here, there is no way he would see over 250 with just 2.2 cams.
Yep. Agreed. I'm thinking 230ish whp MAYBE. NA is hard and extremely expensive to achieve high hp. Gonna need to bore it alot more than just RBC and 80mm throttle body. Gonna need bigger piston bore, way bigger fuel setup including injectors, and go straight race fuel and not E85, etc. It wouldn't be street drivable in order to do so. Just my opinion but based on past experiences. I'm a NA guy. I've owned plenty of boosted cars but I love natural NA torque for low HP track racing. Regardless, car is going to run amazing for daily drivability and track days.
ΒΞγΘΠĐτhΞGΓΔνΞ GΔMΙИG ΔΠĐ MΞĐΙΔ I’m hitting 200whp from a stock 2zz short block with just cams. no injectors no intake manifold and no tb. i dont think he need much more to hit 250whp with the k24.
The flywheel & organic clutch pieces of this are really good information for newer modders out there - you might be tempted to go as light as possible on your flywheel, or go with a synthetic material clutch, but unless you "need" to do those things or are doing an all out 100% track only build, you shouldn't, it will ruin the drivability of your car. In the realm of moderate power adders, you can often get an organic/stock clutch with a stiffer pressure plate for increased holding power, your pedal gets a bit stiffer, but the clutch will feel natural and linear as apposed to nothing, nothing, nothing, ALL THE GRIP.
Use to have a 1999 one. The two mods that made the most difference for my lap times were: a Neuspeed rear sway bar and rear disc bake conversion. The rear sway bar allowed me to dive the car with the throttle and the rear disc brakes to brake much later without overheating or cracking the front. On the street, these made almost no difference, except the sway bar made the car more fun on snowy back roads.
i personally would never do this build just not my thing but i cant stop watching. The production quality and speaking dont forget the visuals go unmatched. Plus that throttle body is boss. i gotta hear this thing pull
rear disks do make a difference (even more on track) and even more so with proper portioning valve. Read up on it a little but nice r&r and swap to K series. Looks good and glad you have mounted front axles for this motor swap. Nice job.

You guys need the Euro / Japanese mirrors, EK9 tail lights, thin side moldings + weld and smooth out the wiper hole, paint the licence plate frame and trunk.
Looks like I saw a 3" exhaust going in, so 250whp- 260whp is right where you should be with your flex fuel setup. The build is looking amazing so far.
