For those who want to try a prinny run if you don't want to use the dlc booster weapons to make 1-1 easy, I would recommend taking Fuji's slippers off in the tutorial fight and from its loot table getting a thin cape to drop for a little more defence, but even with those 1-1 still needs some luck and gum heals.
I would love this as a series, doing all the games
i think he did 5 and because of the wrestlers that constantly pick you up it failed quiet fast

Remember you failed the D5 run on the explosion stage. You could have passed the Charge Bonus Gauge for 10 mana in the Dark Assembly and summon your own junk netherworld to overcast the explosion stage (or any other annoying overwold stage).
I think the hardest part of this challenge is restraining yourself from using all the other characters in the game
Within the depths of the Netherworld one Prinny ventures on a journey to find Bushido!
Now do this challenge for 1, 2, D2, 3 and 4, dood!

Awesome. I'd love to see you try Ball and Carnage 15. I can't imagine how you would do Carnage Baal. I'm ready to be impressed. Maybe with stat farming absorption? Seems like a lot of effort for something that might not even happen.

Nice run dood, I did the same last week but with only Fuji ( way easier :D ) but I want some challenge...now that you did the solo Prinny I don't know what could be fun to do ? hmmm

Do you have a video that takes you through the exact grinding steps from 1 to max level that you would use once you hit Rak difficulty in Disgaea 6? I find myself jumping stages quite a bit, and messing around with the power setting over and over to find the right stages to grind it so that I'm not just wasting too much time grinding low-level areas. But I also find it a bit tedious since I am basically managing these changes every 30 minutes. I'm curious if there is a more efficient path.
Basically, I do something like this:
- Martial Stage 2, 20 Stars, until 20-30k level
- Martial Stage 3, 20 Stars, until 200k Level
- Rich Man Plaza, 20 Stars, until 500k Level
- The Royal Chamber, 1 Star to 20 Stars (since I can't do 20 right away)
- The Griffon Chamber 20 Stars
- The Bell of Blessing, 10 Stars to 20 Stars
- And haven't really figured the rest out.
But this seems like a lot of work if I need to do it 100's of times.

where you play as a prinny working under etna following bad ending of disgaea 1
they are challenging though seeing they let you commit to jumping so you can magically chance direction with your double jump

Love DIsgaea games even though the goal changes around mid game to creating one or two perfect fighters instead of making an army. Your characters are either invincible or half your team is dead. In other words, level distribution gets skewed so only a few of your units really stand a chance. With anything other than a prinny, what you're doing would be the suggested method for a speedrun. There's a thought, what does a disgaea speedrun actually look like? I know what i'm watching this afternoon.

I don't think it's possible to beat the postgame and all Baal stages as a single prinny. especially without juice bar and squads. If you can AT LEAST use the squad to learn stuff or gain growth, then maybe you can clear the postgame story, but I doubt it.
I should try this... but I might change the rules a bit.

100% worth it yes and id say start with D5 or D7 both of which are known as the best in the series and both are quite nice for new comers

She's not a prinny. She doesn't explode when thrown. Also you'd need a bunch of stuff to clear Chapter 4 IIRC. Since you need to throw to where the boss is to clear it. Honestly, Chapter 4 in Disgaea 4 is one of the most annoying chapters in the entire series to deal with. Even with a bunch of movement.
@@demariogoss9732 Yes and no, Fuka is a failed prinny since there was a shortage in prinny hide. As a result she only got a hat and coat. Also one of her Evilities treats her as a prinny unit without the explosion
My definition of a prinny is pretty cut and dry. If you don't instantly explode (die) when thrown, and/or when explosives are thrown within 2 panels of you, you're not a prinny.
I know about all the semantics involved with the plot of Disgaea 4. It's my favorite game in the series. Despite all that, I don't consider her a prinny because the game itself (mechanically speaking) doesn't treat her like one.

@@AllegoryGar Depends on whether or not they explode if in range of an explosion. If they don't insta-die, then it's probably Pringer X, who is very much not a Prinny, or Prinny Baal. Ofc if it's because of heavy stance evility that you can't throw them, it's probably Pringer X, Prinny Baal, or a land of carnage puzzle level.

Dood, I'm just mad that here in Australia we aren't getting the game on consoles until the 13th. I cannot think of a single reasonable excuse for why even the digital version is delayed by a whole 10 days! I'm gonna have to put this video on the backburner until the game actually launches and I can play it myself first... ;_;

I'm sure you can beat Disgaea 1 with a Single Prinny as the stages are stupidly easy. Other than that, you can't beat Modern Disgaea with a Prinny. Try beating it with a single Mage. ;)

Its tru, i had a heavily grinded chara as clutch if things go wrong while rest of the team plays normally, my main guys were barely over lv20 when fighting higan lol
