    • @AWDCUTLASS
      @AWDCUTLASS  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Darrington Morris I had to build the bag for this part. It’s a specific plastic sheet designed for vacuum infusion. The resin is vacuum infused into the parts

      @DarringtonMorris 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AWDCUTLASS sorry I meant how did you stop the epoxy resin from getting underneath the mold since the whole mold is vacuum bag? Is there a border around the edge of the mold? Thanks for the fast reply, I'm very interested in the composites industry

    • @AWDCUTLASS
      @AWDCUTLASS  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Darrington Morris very little gets on the back side. The resin flows through the path of least resistance. Since the bag is sucked flat against the smooth surface of the mold the resin is forced through the carbon.

    Hi AWD Cutlass.
    I want to build a facility for making carbon fiber parts of vehicles, used in projects, in my university. Can you please guide me based upon your experience, what materials (machinery ) and how much money will be required for establishing this facility.
    It will be a great help from your side.
