Hi Friend! Interesting video. I have a question, at 9:12 you clicked "Yes" for PATS, but you didn't do reprogramming/initialization on PATS system. How did the PCM recognize the keys&immo? BTW I also deal with 2.3L Ford Escapes model year 2003-2013. When reprograming Used PCM, and click "No" button when asked if vehicle is equipped with PATS, am I able to start the car? So assuming that Immo is set to off. Since programming used PCM requires 2 original Ford keys. And car cannot start with only 1 key registered to PCM Cheers, thanks in advance! :)
Great instructions. I'm having a problem following along on a 2015 F-150 using the VMCI VCM3. After starting the Program Module Installation and clicking OK at the turn switch on prompt (switch still off), it runs through the checking network for a bit then drops back to the menu where you select Programmable Module again. Any suggestions?

Appreciate it brother, like and subscribe! The same programming should work well for your 2011 F-150, as it’s designed to support programming for Ford, Mazda, and Lincoln vehicles. You should be able to reflash your PCM back to stock or with the latest updates using it, which is perfect since your truck has that aftermarket tune. Just make sure you have the correct software and follow the steps carefully
Can this be used to reprogram the PCM to be standalone? Meaning disabling PATS and other diagnostics in order to have 5.4L & 4R100 transmission from an Lincoln Navigator swapped into an 70s F100?

I got alot of vcis thats compatible but Id be interested in the software. Qny reason for virtual machine? Just to keep it from interfering with everything else I assume. I had similar issues with multiple software and vcis
Good question. This was briefly explained but I'll expand on it. The virtual machine is used to eliminate any conflict of software already on your pc, or can arise later,also ease with installation/ configuration as it all done for you and makes setup/use almost plug and play. Any problems with pc or swapping pc? Simply re-download the image and you're back to a working installation. It can be installed natively in Windows as stated in the video if the user chooses. Just a bit more complexity on setup..

Do you sell the ids and will it allow me to use the autel jvci in virtual machine. I assume you have to add the device into virtual machine. To be honest I can't remember last time I used virtual machine is when windows 8 came out and it was a nightmare not as bad as Vista but still bad. Had go use it to run xp lol

Thank for the reply. Rats bit through the white can bus network wire. I spliced it and everything is working. Haven't moved the vehicle yet. Self soldering tube kit is in the mail. I dint need to program anything. 😅 Cleared all tbcs engine runs nice. 🌌🏌♂️

There was an issue on vmware website PLEASE FOLLOW UPDATED ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS AT BOTTOM OF INSTRUCTIONS SHEET! Its only 3 steps! 1. Install VMWARE player 2. Extract vcm3 image file with provided password using winrar 3. Open the extracted file in VMWARE player. A installation video is coming tomorrow will be installed by a 13 year old with no help, if he can do it, ANY ONE CAN.

Are you going to be required to join a certain organization for certain programming functions to work on IDS and FDRS?
No, IDS uses 10min security waits on most vehicles.. those remain the same.

Yes you can, these usually have a 10min wait period.

Question, this is reprogramming the whole pcm, not just changing the VIN, correct?
That is correct! If you watch the whole entire video and it is updated to the latest firmware.

yes you can change the year but as long as the computer is compatible with that year and watch the video completely!

IDS is suitable to mostly 2018 vehicles newer usually requires FDRS
