One meal at a time, even, or one drink at a time.... The smaller the step the better, unless one has to think in bulk for practical reasons.
I lost over 60’pounds 20 years ago by mostly eating plant based, very little organic meat. I have blossomed up again. Switching to plant based again. I will, on occasion, have a burger, but few and far between.
Green is the best way to
What about the uncomfortable gas from eating wfpb ? Does anyone else suffer from that ?
You are not the only one. Maybe I need to do a live about it. Try cooking and blending more, cut back on legumes and focus on lentils instead, and add probiotics for a few months. Those are a few helpful strategies
Thank you so much !
A live would be a great idea 😊
Such a wonderful interview. I’d been very clean WFPB for 2 decades. Over the last 5 years anxiety went through the roof and increased weight by 10 pounds. Reluctantly added in lean proteins in place of whole grains and cut back legumes to 1 serving/day. Dropped anxiety immediately and 10-12 pounds effortlessly. I have much guilt and miss the WFPB movement for all of the kind souls out there. Any suggestions to this dilemma? I’ve always exercised and had a super clean lifestyle.
Love eating a Plant based diet but unfortunately eliminating meds or reducing meds does not work for everyone by eating this way. Since transitioned eating this way in 2019 I have added a second blood pressure med as well as discovering I have Barrett’s esophagus and have just increased meds to twice a day. I am five feet tall and 117 pounds. I aim for a SOS plant based lifestyle and love eating this way. Sometimes food does not change health issues - other factors have to be factored in. Just saying!
Absolutely, it is not a panacea.
