I have the same one, it's not bad but it's not the greatest either. the 1050 version is kind of like a frying pan with built-in heat and nitrosense isn't always 100% reliable ether, Great budget computer though.

@@kingchief2503 mine actually did not had any big overheating issues as long as the thermal paste is being regularly changed, I added some extra RAM and I am surprised how well it still works since it was an affordable laptop 😃

    • @kingchief2503

@@lttips6565 I might have to replace the thermal compound on mine because I play a lot of battlefront (yes i know the game is old and dead, but i still think it's fun) and it would reach over 90% usage at about anywhere from 80 to 87 degrees. I also upgraded the RAM and mine to 32 gigs and I definitely helped the performance a lot.
The one issue I've had is one day nitrosense just stopped working and I could not control my fans. ACER support really didn't help much either, but that's the only complaint I had.

There is an old saying in my country that goes "there is a price, there is a form".
Well, it all comes down to individual budget. If you have more budget, go ahead and buy a TUF or even better, go straight to ROG.
But, if you're on a tight budget, the Nitro is more than enough.

Does anyone else have problems with their Nitro 5 where the LCD adhesive gets worn out within 1-2 years causing the LCD to slide down from its lid frame? I've had 2 Nitro 5's and it happened on both. Every time i lift the lid to open the laptop, the LCD would literally pop out of its frame. I'm sick of Acers poor quality control so I'm switching to ASUS when i buy a new laptop this year.

Yes. I am owning one for about 3 years now and the LCD has literally popped out of its frame.
