7:00 not an issue anymore. Many FreeSync monitors ARE supported by NVIDIA GPUs, and said monitors will worth both GPU brands.
Freesync was ignored in the early days since it only worked on 60hz displays, which really didn't make much sense to use any kind of Adaptive-Sync at 60fps, mostly because it was limited to the slower/older HDMI spec. This is why early GSync monitors only had DisplayPort since it had more bandwidth for higher refresh rates above 60hz. But these days a lot of gaming monitors are above 120hz, and have multiple inputs all supporting Adaptive-Sync.

@@vulcanplayzyt6820 Dude, you have no idea what we're talking about, max overclocking means that it will be very overheated and overused, therefore trashing the lifespan of the pc, a laptop getting safely overclocked wouldn't make the slightest difference in lifespan due to it not getting pushed far enough in overclocking to overheat and thermal throttle.

Yes, true. But NVIDIA has wayy better drivers. I had the rx 470, a really good budget gpu. It runs better than the NVIDIA gtx 1050 ti. First time, my pc was randomly turning off after being in a game for around 5 minutes. I decided to replace the card because i had warranty. The second time i was getting some weird flashing when doing more intensive things and my pc would just freeze or restart. It was so frustrating. When i switched to the gtx 1050 Ti i had no more problems and everything runned just fine. Amd does have better gpus for the price, but they have terrible drivers.

The amd 5700rx is actually really good for 4k display you get an average on very demanding games of 112fps but by a lil bit of tuninong and overclocking you can get way over 156fps

honestly i bought a pretty solid set up for around $1800. I can play most games in 4k60 at high settings and some at ultra settings with th same results. I think the only two games so far that ive found i need to dial down the settings if i want to play 4k are AC valhalla and cyberpunk.

RTX2080Ti is the latest one, isn't it? (Until September) Radeon 5700XT does not support ray tracing, so I think there is a price difference there.

I'm actually using G-Sync on a Freesync monitor. It works just fine.
I've owned both AMD and NVidia. It's good to have choices, and AMD/ATI has made some great graphics cards in the past (9700 Pro), but right now NVidia has the better hardware. It's a pity it's mostly in the hands of cryptominers :(
I recall reading somewhere that theres gonna be some compatability like 1 or 2 years ago. Though freesync is implemented very differently into the video ports while Gsync is a chip inside the monitor. So if youre on a freesync monitor youre probably using freesync and AMD made it compatible for Nvidia gpus. Makes sense cause Nvidia got a much bigger market share.
