When I first saw the video, I thought your Chinese heater was electric, until you mentioned the tank. Then I wondered what fuel it used. Now I see the description mentions a diesel heater. First it looks great and is VERY quiet. But I wondered if your going to make an external fill for it? I believe you said you were going to make it permanent. Doe it have a separate exhausts for hot air and the diesel exhaust? (I cant really see a separate output in the video.) Do you have a description or link for it? Thanks,
The exhaust for the heater runs right out of the bottom of the init through the floor and out a chrome fitting in the lower part of the fender. The diesel tank will have an external fill and vent right above where it’s sitting. I have some nice stainless boat fittings for it. I will be adding a fresh air intake to the heater to draw the air from outside and heating it up to help control moisture in the cabin as well.
The tank is about 2 gallons and I would say if I ran it constantly it would run for 2.5 days. Depending of course how hard it has to run to maintain the temp you want.
You do good work, take your time and do it right.
Thank you. Taking my time is not an issue with my projects. Just ask my wife lol.
Very helpful! Thank you so much! Its been a while man! Wheres the new uploads???!!!

Sounds like it's time to fabricate some heater ducts (salvage yard reuse)? ;-)
The sound deadening is awesome! You might also look at the Frost King duct wrap which is very similar to Dynamat but a lot less money.
I’ll check it out

What is the capacity of that diesel tank? it looks small (2 gallons or so.) How long will it run the heater before it is empty?
