the way you made the mark for the first hole was smart. I made it much more difficult...nice job!

Now you might have an idea!! I put those on my Toro blower but it would tend to ride up on the snow instead of pushing it out of the way. You need some kind of metal plow in front of the wheel to push the snow away and clear a path for the wheel.

PERFECT! got 2 old lawnmowers behind the shed... I'm doing this today! But based on suggestion, I'm mounting this behind the existing skidders to clear a path for the wheels... trial & error! Thanks

What about when you run it into deep or hardpacked snow, do the wheels stop it??

Looking to add this to my snowblower where did you get parts or do you know where to order parts?

I also work on lawn mowers and I got a used wheel set from an old mower. Ordering new wheels sets off the internet would be to expensive. Get a cheap mower with adjustable wheels off Craigslist or market place.

@@gse244 That's what I did as soon as I first saw this video. I went of Market place and found a good used lawnmower for free! It has the adjustable wheels I needed, but when I got it home,I found it was too good to rob parts off of so I cleaned it up and it's my trimming mower now! Gotta start looking for another free one!

Best / cheapest is to find and old mower on Craigslist or market place. Or look on ebay.

    Did this to my snowblower.
Adding wings to clear a path for the wheels is a must for the heavy snow, otherwise it builds up in front and acts like wheel caulks. So without wings have to keep lifting and dropping front of bucket.

I'm in lowa and most of our big snows are only around 6 inches or so. So just the wheels have been work so far for me. Thanks for sharing.
