Just curious to know if the chute ever plugs up when you encounter the wet slushy snow at the end of your driveway, especially after the snowplow goes by pushing the salty sloppy snow in front of your driveway?

I don't recall having issues with the chute plugging in wet snow, however i've had another wet snow related issue that was easy to fix. I've had issues with heavy wet snow not feeding into blower if you have your skid shoes set where the cutting edge is scraping the ground. The space between the the auger and the ground will fill with a sheet of heavy wet snow and will make you start pushing the snow in front of the blower. The fix for that problem is to rase the skid shoes a notch or two so that the cutting edge has some space between it and the ground. After i've made that adjustment, the snow feeds normally into the blower. That's the ONLY issue that i've had with the snowblower.......

@@westriverlawnsnow3452 That's common with many American style blowers. Spraying the metal with silicone, or some of the products made for snowblowers, can stop the snow from sticking and doing that.

Would you recommend a Ventrac? Looking at the tough cut and flail mowers for accessories.
