    Girl, you are so funny, so joyful, so positive! I like you and your beautiful family! All respect to you for what you do and the pasion for it! You speak so clear, so informative, so explicit! I am at the begining of this road, I do it for ethical reasons not to loose weight! I am trying to put some weight on! I started 2 months back and I am already 2 kg down! I need to eat more plant protein! Keep it up!

    Just discovered your videos last weekend. I enjoy the way you present the information. Your voice and personality are so pleasing, and I laugh at all your “characters”! I have not eaten meat in over 7 years, but still struggle with food ideas sometime, and always need to reinforce and feed my soul with information and ideas for my plant based journey. Thank you for what you do!!

    Again - super helpful! Thank you! There are two things I find I am having a hard time with as a prepare to step into a new eating lifestyle - first, my health is so trashed I have no energy to shop or cook. I am basically house bound and even walking across the kitchen feels like a huge task. Second, even when I did have energy and was more mobile, I have never enjoyed cooking. I have found a prepared meal service that is plant based (Splendid Spoon) that I hope will help me gain my energy back, but it is an expensive option that is not sustainable. Help!

    • @ChoosingMyHealth
      @ChoosingMyHealth  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know the feeling! Start off small. So maybe commit to making at least 3 days worth of meals (or less). You can cover this on 1 day out of the week if you cook in bulk (pre chop and freeze meals if necessary). Instant pots are also super heblpful! Praying you get your energy back honey 💜

    I tested out plant based meat on my family by making my famous taco crescent ring. All of the familiar flavors were there. It was a hit and I didn’t tell them it was made with plant-based meat until they’d eaten it all.

    What if your spouse is trying to gain weight and thinks he can’t gain weight on a plant based diet? I’ve tried to explain that there are plant based athletes who have gained muscle and weight on a plant based diet by eating more plant based foods with weight lifting but I’m having a hard time convincing

    • @ChoosingMyHealth
      @ChoosingMyHealth  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Ashley! Yes- you're right! You can def build muscle while “vegan/plant-based body building”. Make sure he eat lots of plant-based protein sources like tofu, legumes, quinoa, tempeh, hemp seeds/powder, to maximize muscle gain. Also, lots of plant-based carbs and healthy fats. Don’t skip on food. Calories help you build. Also, check out the documentary “game changers” if you haven’t already- SUPER informative and INSPIRING. Blessings!
